Well ladies....buckle up cos this bus is often more like a 🏎🤣

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, which some of us have been for longer than we care to remember 😜. So whether your glass of half empty, half full, a pint glass, a shot glass (a tic tac container?), a mug of tea, this is where we come to refill it...🥰 Mumsnet is our happy place 🥰

Don’t forget...
⁃ No judgement
⁃ A few of us like a sex toy a few don’t, there may be sex toys discussed! 🤪a few of our fellas have enjoyed this aspect
⁃ Support each other, ranting is allowed, saying you are down is encouraged & celebrating our happy days too 😊
⁃ If you have a pet, it’s welcome aboard
⁃ mandatory picture of your 🎄tree /Xmas decorations / Xmas jumper or similar
⁃ Ditto Wreath - extra points awarded if wreath is homemade 🥰
⁃ We may stray away from TTC a fair bit
⁃ NOTHING IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs

7 BFPs in Dec so far ....
Sneaky @lucyrp getting in there at the end 😍

How many more 🤔
Can we birth the messiah???
Or will we get thrown off Mumsnet??

You're only 9DPO @Juno231 and I think 9 DPO is the most common day for implantation so it's still too early to know either way. In all my pregnancy charts I saw a slight shift upward of the temp only from about 11 DPO, and that was a very subtle upwards movement, with a bigger shift up only at about 14DPO or so. I don't know about the new-fangled RHR thing I'm afraid Smile.

Juno231 · 16/12/2020 10:09

@kalidasa thank you! I think I'm just resigning myself to another cycle, I don't want to get my hopes up too much!

@franklydear I'm sorry you think AF is coming - if it is then on the bright side the mc doesn't seem to have messed with your cycle really?

Joanna1009 · 16/12/2020 10:11

Ladies is there a known correlation between LH and BBT? I'm just reviewing my chart and they're following a similar pattern. Probably just coincidence but I haven't seen it before. What do you think?

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 10:16

@Sausage1990 behind you all the way, also happy to be done with this year
@Joanna1009 hugs, why can't they be normal? They are supposed to love you, right?
@Justanothercyster Dubai! Enjoy! Test is horrid, I've done it 3times, doesn't get any better
@Minster2012 keep educating us, this conversations need to be more on the open

We woke up this morning to normal temperatures, also laxatives worked, D's is not impressed, but we'll carry on

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 10:18

@Juno231 yes! And that definetly be a positive, but neither of us is out, so we need to be patient

Minster2012 · 16/12/2020 10:40

I don't know charts @Juno231 so I don't think it makes a difference, also like @kalidasa don't believe this new fangled RHR stuff 😂😂

Glad the antibiotics / laxatives are working @Franklydear but why you think AF?

Out of interest then ladies who gets paid if you have to be off for Covid either yourself or looking after others??

@Joanna1009 hows he been today?

OP posts:
Joanna1009 · 16/12/2020 10:43

@Minster2012 how's he been today? He left for work early so not spoken to him but I expect he's still a twat 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm going to speak to him later.

About COVID, I'd be paid if I had to be off thankfully.

Florence13 · 16/12/2020 10:47

@Juno231 completely get not wanting to get your hopes up hun but nice to have a little bit too.

@Franklydear yes sounds like your cycle has been normal but hoping AF doesn’t appear for you.

@Minster2012 yes I would get paid if I had to be off because of COVID

Vil10 · 16/12/2020 10:57

@Minster2012 I'd get paid if I was off for covid too, 2 more days left of work so keeping my fingers crossed that no children in the bubble I've been in at work catch anything or else I'd have to isolate over Christmas because I've been in the settings all this week!!

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 11:30

@Minster2012 yes ds on the mend, behave beautifully for his zoom violin lesson
I had the foof soreness yesterday, but not today, patience never been my virtue
If I had Covid I would get sick pay, if I had to isolate for myself debatable, off to stay with my isolating child, I am getting paid this time, but it is a one off, any more periods for him will be unpaid leave, unless I use holidays, will consider it when it happens

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 11:32

Latest Xmas covid joke

2020mission · 16/12/2020 11:43

Just trying to catch up and read some people have changed usernames 😆 I'm going to be quite confused now. Maybe I should change mines since we're about to be out of 2020 and I've clearly had a failed mission... but then it shows I'm very much now a long term TTC.

Any more BFPs so far that I've missed? @Juno231 I still don't trust the RHR. Mines has dropped 3 days ago from 69 to 64 so I assumed AF was about to start (and the spotting was a good indicator too) but still nothing. Fingers crossed for you - the temperature hasn't dropped that much from the looks of it?

Does anyone else here ever get heart palpitations? I've had them before but haven't had them for ages but I had it a few times last night. Such a horrible feeling. I was sitting on the sofa for one and standing in the shower for the other so can't be related to exercise.

Minster2012 · 16/12/2020 11:46

Hmmm thank you ladies, and those that responded yes you would get paid for yourself, would you get paid for looking after others (dependants) too...will explain when at home

OP posts:
Vil10 · 16/12/2020 11:53

@2020mission I'm always unsure of rhr, sometimes it's dipped for ov and sometimes it hasn't but I know I've deffo ov'd🤷🏽‍♀️ weird! I'm trying not to look at it because I'm only 6dpo but I can't help it sometimes😂 also I used to get heart palpitations when I was about 18 because I used to drink double vodka red bulls when I went out🙄 woke up the next morning and felt like my heart was gonna burst out my chest!! Safe to say I don't drink them anymore!! I've never even liked red bull unless it was mixed with vodka😂

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 11:59

@Minster2012 if you are trying to decide policy for paying the staff, just pay them, dh and I were having palpitations at the thought of losing a week and a half wages on the payslip before Xmas

Juno231 · 16/12/2020 12:18

@2020mission I've had heart palpitations two nights in a row! Had an RHR of 91 just sitting down, I could physically feel my heart racing.

I know there's an element of confirmation bias in the RHR bus but we've had another two BFPs today/yesterday where you can see RHR sky rocketing after implantation. You do get the odd exemption but as a rule if it dips then AF is en route. Having said that @vil10 I wouldn't trust it in the slightest for ovulation detection.

Skip86 · 16/12/2020 12:18

Eergh today was balls. I was such an angry dragon mother. My son is on his very first day of school holidays and I already want to run away from home. Also, AF arrived today (2 days early, not sure what the deal is there), so could be an explanation for the smoke coming out of my ears.

Random scrolling while having my dinner (alone of course, hubs never ever home, my only company for the next 7 weeks being 2 and 5 year old boys. But I'm not resentful and bitter, nooooo nevvvvver), came across this AIBU which gave me a (begrudging, half hearted) lol.

Urgent Help I don't know what to do AIBU? http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/4107837-Urgent-Help-I-dont-know-what-to-do-AIBU

Juno231 · 16/12/2020 12:20

@minster2012 my company can be horrible but they'd pay if I was down with COVID or taking care of someone else with COVID.

Three years ago we had a new starter who not long after joining had a big family tragedy where his wife had a psychotic break and killed both their kids - our company even paid for her bail... They can be nice when they want to be!

2020mission · 16/12/2020 12:24

Yeah it's horrible isn't it? Always scared my hearts going to stop when it starts rapidly slowing and speeding. @Vil10 I immediately thought it had to be caffeine like with your red bull but I only had one latte and at 2pm so find it hard to believe it was causing it so many hours later. @Juno231 I know when I had both BFPs my RHR was up and down in small amounts over the week so it definitely didn't shoot up. Considering those were chemicals though, I don't see that as a solid example 😅

Vil10 · 16/12/2020 12:25

@Juno231 yeah it's always dropped for me around when af is due, but there's no regular pattern for ov, doesn't stop me trying to find an implantation dip though😂

@Skip86 urghhh sorry for af!! That's rubbish! Also I'm opposite to you, I have 2 more days of children then I'm freeee for 16 days!! Making the most of my holiday freedom whilst I can!

2020mission · 16/12/2020 12:26

@Skip86 😆 I need to scroll those threads more often when needing cheered up. At first I thought you were linking us to your post!

Franklydear · 16/12/2020 12:37

@Skip86 I prescribe chocolate and wine, or something stronger if you wish, .... I haven’t left the house or ds side since last Thursday, I might be ready to give him away by the end of this, it’s made me think I might be mad for wanting another, but maybe madness is good, right?
@Vil10 and any other teachers, you must all have the patience of a saint, enjoy your holiday
I am looking forward to Saturday as we can go out and dh likely not at work, what are the chances it’ll rain....

katekam10 · 16/12/2020 13:10

Sorry I haven’t been very active ladies. I struggled getting to grips with learning how to keep track on here as everything moves so quickly.
I don’t know who to ask my question. I’ve done the wrong thing and tested too early I know. I can see a line but I think it’s in the wrong part of the screen shouldn’t it be nearer the control line? Is this just an evape line? Thanks for your thoughts ladies

paintfairy · 16/12/2020 13:21

@Skip86 I thought that was your AIBU too to start with. Which didn't seem that bright. 🤣 Then I read it 3 times before thinking wtf?
@Justanothercyster my spotting they put down to hormonal. No one seems worried. Its always in my LP. But they did run blood tests and do an ultrasound etc to check there was nothing going on. After that I don't think they are bothered. I don't get bleeding from sex.

@Sausage1990 I'm pleased you are slowly moving forwards. At least its going the right way now!
@Juno231 I think that about our bed. I'm also that loud 😳 i don't even know how people with kids manage it? Although we've never argued over it. I reckon we'd need a new bed.
