Name change! Previously newbie 🤗

On the Tampon thing, I don't feel it. I really get it up there with the applicator. If you feel it, go down a size. Means your flow is not enough. U can also feel it if you've soaked it, so change it more often. My evenings top tips 😂

@clolo one round for me in SE London but recently heard one round is just for a fresh transfer so if they freeze a load of embryos they can transfer those too if the fresh doesn't work! So a round doesn't actually me one go at it! 😁

@Justanothercyster interesting new user name newbie! Is that a play on sister or do you make lots of cysts 🤔

All these name changes will take me a while to remember who's who 😁

@DJmum83 I'm sorry you think AF is on her way - I hope that's not the case! Funnily I'm due to ovulate twice in Jan per my charts - once around the 2nd/3rd and again around the 29th/30th. So if this cycle is another dud I feel Jan could be my month lol.

@Minster2012 so they wouldn't transfer any of the frozen embryos for you? I need to ask what what's then as the ccg just says one round, doesn't stipulate between fresh n frozen, although maybe I missed it?! Will have another read of it... 🤞🏾this next transfer is the one my love!!

@DJmum83 what dpo are you? It's a shit feeling when you just know she's on her merry way isn't it! Crap to be working up until Christmas! What do you do if not too outing?

I feel slightly awkward that I've been shoving tampons up there with no issue since being a teenager. 🤣 I've not had kids either, so how big would it be if I had?! 🤔

@paintfairy tbf spotting is a sure fire way of being taken seriously as it could be a sign of cancer so they're too scared not to look into it. My friend even got told by her gynae that if she ever needed an urgent appointment with her, to just say she's spotting and she'd always be guaranteed an appointment! Tricks of the trade hey 😅

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm 11 or 12dpo fertility friend has me at 12 but I think I ovulated the day after so 11.
I just know she is on her way but usually I get the cramps then boom AF with a bang but as such just cramps all day today.
I am a home carer, worked in nurseries for 15 years so always had 2 weeks off at Christmas so this is a shock to the system.

@Juno231 interesting. Although when I went, my smear was due in 6 months and they never did it early. I thought they might? It was ok when they eventually did though.

@DJmum83 I get all sorts of pain and craziness so can always guarantee when mine arrives too! Ah I see. Both my mum and sisters are carers so they often work Christmas Day! Not this year tho, sisters on mat leave and think mums actually booked it off for once! And yay for January being your month girls!! I'm gonna claim March as mine as reckon that'll be when I'll get transfer underway, and it'll be my birthday so it just has to be then right! 🤞🏾

@notyetamumbuttrying I changed my tampon & checked if it was a flow issue (not soaked it enough so wasn't that) went down a size to basically gnat size & still feel the bitch. It's just hating me. Still need it though. So yours is a fresh transfer then a frozen too, or how many frozen? See why ppl get so upset over postcode lottery?? Literally the Hull postcode starts in the village next door. The much less salubrious one might I add but when you think how much we've spent I'm not sure it's reflected in our house price 😂. No they wouldn't transfer any our frozen for us despite us actually only getting the embryo creation on NHS even not ANY kind of transfer as it was surrogacy and they don't support that, we paid for all of the drugs & transfer for my friend & all costs. YET they then said "because you now have a child" DESPITE us starting to ask them when he wasn't legally ours still legally my friends child they said we weren't eligible for any transfer whatsoever. So we "as a childless couple" on the NHS only ever got egg harvesting & embryo creation & storage til he was 6 months (well
7 months as that's when we got legal custody of him)
