And yay @clolo and @Minster2012 ivf pals ✨ that's if we get there over here. Yes we have to wait 3 months and see where things go. Tbh I'm not too worried about jabs but the sedation really freaks me out as I've never been out under before. I really am anxious about the thought of that!

@InkyPaper That's so frustrating :( I feel your pain! The waiting is torture because you just don't know what's happening and feel helpless. They should at least offer a blood test though for irregular periods.

I've had a manic last day at work so been a bit quiet today. Managed to do a little bit of last minute Christmas shopping this afternoon and although my annual leave started at 1pm today I had another meeting until 2 and need to work tonight to issue a report tomorrow lol. It's taking my mind off of ttc a little bit though!

8DPO today and my RHR jumped up by 2 which is promising although my bbt is still uneventful.

🤣🤣🤣 @Skip86 chilli foof! Good job it wasn't! Trust @Juno231 to have tried that. But actually that's reminded me! I use bio-freeze for my back if its hurting. I suppose you'd be better applying it with gloves but it just says to wash your hands after, it never quite gets it off mind.
Anyway- DHs knee was hurting. So he borrowed some (did not wash hands) as he went to bed. One thing lead to another. However, it was very quickly halted (and not restarted) when to my horror, my foof realised the error of his ways. I can honestly say I do not recommend it..... 🙄🤣

@Minster2012 no you shouldn't feel tampons. Odd times mine hasn't gone in far enough with the applicator and after I've realised. So I shove it with my finger. 🤮 But it needs to be past the bony bit, as someone else said.

Need to do a proper catch up don't I! Got the estate agent calling me when I get home, but should be able to catch up and respond to peeps later tonight x

@lucyrp good sign that your progesterone is increasing! Thats what the tierdness is. Going for walks and fresh air made me feel better, plus iron supplements, spa tone is good, you put it in apple/orange juice (and doesn't clog you up 😆)

@BlondePotter (sarah right) I have a friend thats been ttc for ages, I made sure I messaged her seprate as I announced on the wattapp group chat. When we have group zoom calls everyone asks for baby updates and it kills me knowing she is listening, so I always send her a message and try to keep bump updates very brief. I often send her videos of cats or dogs doing silly things and ask how her ttc journey is. She says she likes talking to me about it as nobody else understands bbt and opks.

@InkyPaper that's rubbish that your GP isn't being helpful right now, so frustrating. When you go back in March go in and demand tests and scans. My sister has PCOS and has been ttc for the past 4 years and because she's a bit overweight the doc just wrote her off and said there was nothing they could do. I've heard too many stories of people being fobbed off by the doc so I went armed with an argument of I've tried xy and z im doing my part now I need you to do what you can on your end too and basically just demanded help. I've learned the hard with with docs you usually get nowhere unless you're pushy.

@Minster2012 If I can feel the tampon I know its not up high enough so usually use my finger to give it a further shove up higher till I cant feel it any more .......tho I'm seeing quite a few ladies still feel theirs so maybe I have a cave 😂

@lucyrp You're cooking a tiny human no matter how early on so cut yourself some slack on the gym front and just listen to your body take it easy the tired days and you can do a bit more the days you feel more alive. One of my early pregnancy signs the past 4 times was a drop in weight before my period was due when usually I put it on that week, so even early days your body is obviously burning more calories to do all the cooking. Has it sunk in yet that it's real?

@blodyn91 omg tell me about clogging up 🙄 I think I'm just going to have to go for half hour walks or something. Last week I was really fit and this week I feel like a slob 😔 I think that must be why I was tired last week too as I managed to go gym Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and then from then on I was shattered and didn't make it😴

@DKDK123 im hoping once I get a bit further along I might pick up a bit so can go again. One can hope !🤣 no it hasn't sunk in yet really as I'm a worrier and keep thinking il wake up tomorrow and something bad will have happened 😖 I bought some weeks indicator clear blue tests and was going to do one tonight but someone suggested waiting until tomorrow as I might get a further along weeks reading. I'm scared it will say not pregnant or 1-2 when it should be 2-3🙉🤯

@katao yeahhhhhh the ribs omg!! I dont know about you but boy I was so uncomfortable. Even when they pulled her out in the c section her bum was hooked under my ribs! They had to push her back in abit and twist her round lol! I kinda hope with the next pregnancy I have better symptoms 🤣 but il take anything right now lol

@Newbie0818 soup & a toasty?! Yum that's the posh version of what I made myself this lunch! Soup & a sandwich is on most menus in Yorkshire rather than just "bread" on the side. On the ivf front it's a postcode lottery is what they say. It all goes on your regions funding, which goes on your postcode which I didn't find out until being on ivf threads here as mine was due to chemo so I bypassed the usual "gp surgery bit" though I still had to get referred from my gp in the end but I found out in the summer this screwed me over as in my ivf's clinics area & my oncology clinics area (Hull & Leeds respectively) most postcodes are eligible for "3 rounds of full ivf (unless you get a child first)" whereas my area of home postcode, a York code, is one. That's getting to transfer stage that is. That's what's counted here. If they have to "freeze all" before that point you still get the transfer later on. Sedation is fine. And I wasn't fully sedated.

@Minster2012 yes DH is French and his mum lives there but his step-dad died a few years ago so she's on her own and going a bit crazy. DH is her only child so the DCs are her only grandchildren and she's desperate to see them. She is the total oppose from my very buttoned up parents though

@lucyrp when my bestie got pregnant she was exhausted almost from day one so it's definitely a reasonable feeling to have!!

@Newbie0818 I was given the hormone panel blood test and they came back normal which is why I asked for the appointment today to work out next steps. Just unfortunate that the GP wasn't as helpful as I hoped she'd be. Being told not to worry about when or if my period turns up was not the most helpful piece of advice I've ever been given! With any luck though maybe I'll get lucky before I have to make that appointment...

@DKDK123 I know, I had it last year when I was fighting to get some kind of diagnosis for my stomach issues. I thought I'd gone into this appointment prepared but she wasn't having any of it.

Well as you know I had the temp dip and I have been cramping all day and every time I go to the toilet I'm expecting to see AF but nothing so far. But I know she is coming.
Just worked out I will ovulate New Year's Eve or New Year's Day and hubby is away so it will be January before I can try again.

@Juno231is that you finished until January I'm so jealous. I'm working all the way through only off Christmas Day 😭.

@Minster2012 I have never been able to use tampons always feel them and it's so uncomfortable. I don't think I put them in right.

@clolo I'm afraid I talked crazy for my egg collection, I talked shit 😫DH said but I was aware they were ferreting around trying to find one on the trues, still check though as it still might be split further into the diff York areas as I'm east York but a YO postcode so Hull is my nearest clinic, you might be lucky 🤞🏻or they might have changed it, this was 2017 then this year Hull def gets fresh rounds they confirmed that in sep for me. I was in tears in the reception when they said that. On the "if that includes any frozen" for most places that's what I mean by one go, you get one full round but again it's CCG by CCG. On the ivf threads this year I found some had relaxed it to one full round then one frozen. Hull do 3 full transfers and freeze any left over. There just not be much call for ivf round here, fertile bitches in Hull already maybe 😝. Makes you wanna move 3 mins down the road from me 😂
I'm afraid you need to check & ask
Always go for your fresh transfer first cos any leftovers can be frozen and make it cheaper if you were doing it privately yourself after. (Like us we already have embryos ready so we are paying only frozen transfer cost, HEFA, and the drugs that side)

@InkyPaper how old are you? If under 35 it is a year. Maybe you should have fibbed a bit? But if there's a clear issue then they should look really. I went to the gp about my spotting (prior to ttc) purely because its not normal. So they still looked into it just as a problem, not as a fertility issue. Maybe worth a call to a different gp?
