Is it stupid of me to want a kid at this age?

So, I'm 19, and I really, really want a baby. I know I'm really young, but I think I'm mature enough to take care of a child. I'm still in university, but I've seen mums do both at the same time. I don't have a long term partner, but I also want to get married really young, and I think it goes well with me wanting to have a baby. But maybe I should find someone I would want to be my husband first? My family thinks I'm mental, but one of my best friends had her son in June, and she's doing amazing at being a mum, and that's what I want too :(

Any advice?

I hated being pregnant. It felt like I had been strapped into a fat-suit and somebody had duck-taped two cannon balls to my chest. To make it a 100 times worse I would throw my guts up at a moment's notice and suffered the most appalling piles. This only to be topped-off by the disgusting and degrading experience of childbirth itself. All I can remember is shouting, " get this fucking thing out of me". Once I'd given birth, I quite literally felt totally different; no longer nauseous or tired. It took me 12 weeks to get back into shape by running 5 miles each day and then I went straight back to work - luckily, we owned our house outright so could afford a nanny. With three kids by the age of 28 ( none were planned ) I flew to the US ( where I had previously worked after graduating ) to be sterilized. So personally, I think you are completely mad.

Many of us dream to be a mother (one day) I’m not so sure how many mums actually planned or thought about it in detail at 19.

In the nicest way why is this thought on your mind OP? It doesn’t make sense.... I would like to eat a pudding everyday because I quite enjoy sweet things but I don’t because I wouldn’t fit in my clothes!

It’s all a bit silly. You currently have no BF and you are studying. You surely must know not many of us are going to advise that you should you go and get yourself up the duff Blush at this present time
