Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

I went and got a few more bits for the tree today and just finished cleaning ready to put the tree up now, I'm so excited!! Getting a Chinese takeaway later too so that makes my sunday even better, CD9 today and going for another relaxed approach with no opks, was going to attempt smep but I think that will add stress, I'll keep thinking "oh we've not had sex every other day" and it'll make it worse I think!

Very sorry that both @Franklydear and @Minster2012 have been in hospital. Having a canula in the back of your hand is horrible, so uncomfortable, let alone when they have to try loads of times.

It was DS1's birthday yesterday and we don't think about Christmas at all until after that, but we have got advent calendars for the boys. My widowed MIL has been stuck in Paris on her own for weeks now and she's going completely crazy, she's so desperate to see the children (DH is her only child) so I think she's probably going to come over and stay with us for a couple of weeks over Christmas. So hard to plan anything this year though!

@kalidasa my mum and my mum in law are both in Spain and also desperate to see ds, we normally go to them but I don’t think we can this Xmas, hope you managed to arrange something, her coming to you sounds fab

@franklydear that sounds like a true bestie! Coffee on the beach sounds lovely. Take some time for yourself and do whatever you need to do work wise. Xx

@blodyn91 that wreath looks fab! I still can’t decide whether to attempt making one or to just buy one. But we have put our Christmas tree up today which got me in the Christmas spirit.

@Franklydear hope you're doing ok, completely feel your pain having had 2 chemicals this year but I think it's a good sign as it's showed you can still catch! Hopefully you'll have the higher fertility some people seem to get after having a BFP in the following cycles 🤞 💕

@Minster2012 hope you're feeling better soon too. My hand hurt just looking at those photos from the needles 😬 I'm not afraid of needles but I really hate them!

How quickly a thread can turn from happy to sad 😔 onwards and upwards.
We should keep the Christmas decoration photos coming to cheer us all up. I'll be putting mines up next Friday.

@Florence13 this year is the first I attempted myself and it was easy! I collected some old ivy and hazel branches for the wooden circle bit, used twine to tie them together. I then covered it in moss and used a thin wire around that. Can get this from any garden shop. Then used same wire to wind around the branches. Might add a bow or wire lights. They are up in the loft 😄

@blodyn91 you say it’s easy but I’m really not a very creative person 😂 although that sounds manageable

@Franklydear I'm so sorry 😢 but it sounds like your bestie knew just what you needed, I'm so glad you have a good support system.

Loving everyone's wreaths and Xmas trees! And @Clairey844 I'm watching Fear the Walking Dead ATM too! Loving it but it's definitely making me shout at the TV at how stupid the characters can be 🙄

I'm 6dpo today and feeling good about my temps but just wondering if/hoping I'll get an implantation Dip in the next few days... RHR is on the rise too! Have talked myself out of doing any super early testing this week. Will test on Friday, 11dpo and see where I go from there. Maybe do a cheapie every day from there until I get AF/BFP x

I'm hoping someone can help me! I've been doing OKPs this month ready to start TTC next month. I tested a bit last month and on CD 20 I got my peak. This month I've started testing since CD13 and so far my levels just seem to be lowish not really rising at all, today was CD17 I'm not too sure what I should be seeing but should my readings be higher for the fact that Ovia is telling me I'm on 9/10 in fertile window and if my peak is to be reached at CD20? I've attached photos! I'd appreciate any help making sense of them hoping to be good to go for TTC this time next month!

@MayDay27 apps often talk nonsense and are based on averages. Unless you have plenty of previous data in there or they are good with being things on the opks.

If you ovulated cd 20 last month (assuming regular cycles) you would expect it to be similar this month. So within the next few days you should get a peak on your opk.

Thanks @paintfairy, is it still possible I will get my peak at CD20 this month even though on CD17 currently it's still only reading low? I'm not sure how quickly the lh rises or whether I should already be reading higher levels by now?

@MayDay27 everyone is different. But mine i only get anything at all one day, high the next, and then the following its gone. It comes and goes very quickly.

Here's pics of my Christmas decs (I made my stairs Garland myself and I'm actually really proud of myself😂), not so proud at the fact my lights on my tree weren't long enough when I got to the top so had to use some led battery ones and there wasn't many of them🙄 oh well!

@Vil10 your stair garland is amazing, I would love something like that. Looks so cozy. Chinese looks immense too, still waiting on ours but am hoping for deliciousness as they're generally bang on.

@MayDay27 mine goes very quickly from low to peak so don't worry yet.

@Juno231 zombie run is good! Enjoying it but participating on a crosstrainer as that is what I have indoors. I don't want to run outside.

Everyone's decorations look so good today. Planning on putting ours up this week.

Did chat to step mum today and Dad as we are going to theirs for Christmas. First time in 10 years as last time parents were together I was 9 and since then he has gone skiing. She mentioned all the lovely alcohol and I kept thinking, hope I am preggers and can't drink it.
