Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

@Franklydear I'm so sorry. This happened to be twice before DS1 and both times I got pregnant again very quickly. But I know that's not really any consolation. Go gently with yourself.

@PurposefulPolly having been there I prob know why she's doing it cos each stage of the IVF like the eggs growing update scans is SOOOO stressful that if you are the only person who knows IRL you are her release. But it's not fair on you so yes u need to say. Maybe say to her "u know I'm here for you & please let me know when you've had your transfer & when you are testing/the results so I can be here for you, but I don't understand the process so I'm finding it a bit stressful trying to keep
Up & tbh I find it a bit upsetting atm as I Know we might end up there but have to wait for NHS so maybe it's best to discuss the details with the online groups or others that know you are doing it?"

@paintfairy I am ok, I don’t want to accept it, but even my boobs have shrunk,

dh is coming with positives, at least we know I can get pregnant, now he wants to keep trying at least for half a year longer, ... I am sitting looking at my ds, considering what’s making my glass half full rather than half empty, I am very lucky indeed, and if we get to add to the family, great, if not, well, it was a great family to start with....

@PurposefulPolly I get you, totally do, you need to talk to your friend and find a happy medium

@Franklydear yes it's a good sign this can happen, even if it wasn't right this time. So hopefully it won't be too long before it will happen for you again. I think it's fine to feel down about it though. You need to have that time to yourself. And then you'll be able to pick yourself up and carry on xx

@LauraT94 that sushi looks amazing. Must admit I hate seaweed and intolerant to fish so can't eat it but it looks good!

@AHobbyaweek I just feel deflated really, like I lost my wind, perfectly timed maternity leave too, and before turning 44, I don’t feel too bad, considering, it is dh birthday next week, so at least we have something happy to focus on, for now, I’ll sit on the back of the bus and wait for af to arrive at some point in the next couple of months and take it from there....

@lucyrp completely get what you're saying, my cousin is pregnant again, she found out today, her 2nd month of trying! So that's my best friend & cousin now pregnant on their 2nd month of trying. Bearing in mind that in the whole time I've been trying, my cousin has got pregnant, had her baby & is now pregnant again!! WTF is wrong with me!!!!😩 currently on the sofa with the OH drinking my first cider of the night feeling a little sorry for myself😒 so I completely get how you're feeling today. I'm 5/6DPO & already not feeling hopeful at all this month. I can't go on another 18months like this😣
Any signs of ovulation for you yet?

@Chlo2701 eurgh that's hard!! I had the same thing, I told a few freiends when we started trying and within 3 months 2 of them were pregnant without really trying 🙃 your time will 100% come! X

@Chlo2701 yep that is shit! Even when they can't find anything wrong, there must be some reason why some people manage it fast and others just don't? And why was I not in the fast category? Seems unfair I have to admit.

@Chlo2701 been trying to get OH back into playing football because he used to be really good and he keeps saying he wants to do something for his fitness and we were chatting about it and I said how cute it would be if he was playing on the weekends and me and our baby could stand on the sidelines cheering daddy on with them in a carrier on my chest wrapped up in my coat ☹️☹️☹️ and since then everything we've done today I've imagined a baby being there 💔 I'm totally fine but just got that longing feeling in my heart and womb today. My friends due date was yesterday so keep waiting for updates off her but I know not to ask🤣 I think I'm over the whole jealous of other people(friends who are pregnant etc) kind of thing as I'm just excited to meet them! Although defo jealous of strangers! I'm about to cook a chicken and bacon Caesar salad for tea we've just taken OHs brothers dog for a walk and then after I'm going to help my bestie decorate her Christmas tree, normally we drink but me and OH are taking his grandparents for roast dinner our tomorrow so can't get too messy🙈 I realised earlier that this month is month 16 of ttc for us and rhay made my stomach drop a bit. No signs of ovulation at all yet and I'm cd25 so this cycle is going to be at least 40 days long if ovulation was now in the next day or so 🥴😣 sorry this is a long reply !

@Chlo2701 aww I think a lot of us know how you feel. My sister is pregnant with her third and I’ve found that tough. At least we are all in this together

@lucyrp get what you mean as we went for a walk around the lake near us today and I kept thinking things around a baby being with us.

MIL and FIL picked up my SIL from uni today and stopped in at ours for a pee break. Totally unannounced and I panicked at the state of my house when they came in. I have anxiety anyway and felt really judged but my rational side said they won't judge shhhhh. Spent the afternoon stressing about it and now going to try and distract myself with some nice dinner and a wine.
