Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

@Minster2012 how many months was missgoldilocks again? I'm sorry I'm so bad at keeping up and remembering. I've cried so much this evening, it's getting harder every month and I don't see how I can keep going through this pain x

What does everyone do about alcohol in the TWW? Scientifically I know the blood supply is not really established until 4-6 weeks but does everyone else avoid?

@Franklydear I'm usually really private too but I think it helps to speak to others in the same boat and also anonymously. Its easier when it's not a friend who knows other friends or your family etc. No one really knows we are ttc so I find coming on here useful.

@amy2503 I think the nice thing about this bus is there are people on here that have been around a while. That's why I reappeared. Its really tough if it's just a bus full of people who all get pregnant instantly. But there's a lot of us on here like yourself, so you aren't alone. It's a year in December for me.

@Franklydear ah ok. Do you have any appointments coming up?
@amy2503 I started getting very twitchy at 9 months! We started investigations at 11 months and just lied a bit. If you're over 35 you can go already but if you're under perhaps best to wait a couple more months. Hopefully you won't need to go at all! 🤞🏾

@amy2503 missgoldilocks was 15 months with not a whiff, so it can happen out of the blue. If it's really getting you down can you speak to your GP?

@AHobbyaweek lot of pee for that stick. A whole bottle of rose. On a serious note it's fine to drink during TWW for most ppl, tho if it's been a long time or if you have fertility issues you might want to cut it out so that "you can be doing all you can". My IVF clinic says to me to "act pregnant" during my TWW as I have a 3 or 5 day embryo put in so it's already at near implantation stage & your are "pregnant unless proven otherwise" (& when private you are paying shitloads to be there) but they also say the night before transfer to have a calming glass of wine 😂🥰. I've had white wine spritzer during TWW with family to not be suspicious. I don't think it makes any difference. But it's your choice. 2 weeks every month? Maybe a week as it's the last week for implantation right?

I get being even more careful during IVF and I will watch my intake. My glass has just been poured this time though.

@Minster2012 that's so reassuring and just shows it can be so random and it just takes some of us longer. Just got about 3 people in my life all pregnant at the moment and it's making it so hard to even go on social media x

@AHobbyaweek you wonder why i found the ivf threads boring though??? My glass well & truly poured (though please note it's a spritzer it's not THAT big) but blame @Franklydear who was egging me on yesterday! I'm in the fuck it life too short category.

@amy2503 happy to help. There will always be that I'm afraid though. I'm 36 & someone announced their 3rd pregnancy during lockdown when I would have done. I think this thread also shows the pain is real all ages. It doesn't stop. How old are you? Xx

@amy2503 we have such a range in ages as well, we really are a diverse group and it was a year for me, the last few months I don’t think I even bother testing

Been so quiet on here today ladies sorry!! I've felt like ass!! Had a banging headache all week, light headed, dizzy, feel awful!! Obviously mentioned this to my mum today in the office and her first response with a massive smile on her face "are you pregnant?!?!" I said no mum I've just finished my period and she goes "yes but the periods when you're on your pill aren't proper periods, you still could be, do you not think you should take a test" still with a massive smile on her face bless her, she doesn't know I'm even off the pill let alone TTC! To top it off as well our boiler broker on Tuesday and nobody has been able to come out until tomorrow!! So we've had heaters plugged in all around the house😣

Time and also work in a theatre part time teaching drama to kids, I'm engaged to my fiancé who is older than me and I've got 2 step-girls aged 3 and 10 (10 yo is actually my partners step-daughter from first marriage but brought her up- he was 20 when he met her) how old do you think I am? 🤣💛

Update on my sulking OH....he's still very pissed off at me needing paracetamol for my headache when he was horny last night. He's refusing to eat his tea and has stomped off to bed alone. He's tried gaslighting me over something unrelated, and when I called him out on it he says he's doing it because I've made him sexually frustrated 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 who even has time for this level of crap?! I've left him to be in a mood, I'm 38 not 14. What a dickhead 😒
