Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

Wow these stories are amazing! Wish I could respond to them all but loved every one of them!

OH and I are both 32, been married 3 years and together 11 years. We met at university, after which he did 6 years in the army - so that was super lonely! He could be gone 7-8 months of the year some years. The remaining 4-5 months we'd be limited to weekends anyway... We got married at the Tower of London and it was a big, one sided wedding on OHs side and I hated everything about the planning and execution. I have for too much anxiety for that shizzle, and in the run up to the wedding OH was based in Canada - he literally showed up the Wednesday before the wedding and we had insurance in case he couldn't come at all. Luckily he left the army 2 years ago to join me working in the City of London :).

I came off the pill Sep 19 and started TTC in January (just like you @Florence13 !) but haven't had even the faintest BFP so far, so god knows what will happen with that.

Our most recent thing is that we moved last month into a 3 bed semi detached Victorian house that is a complete fixer upper. I'm currently sat on a bean bag in the living room and only upgraded from a blow up mattress on Saturday 😅.

@AHobbyaweek I just don't know! You can get Ewcm without ovulation as I had that the month I got my bloods done but I just don't know what to do 😞

@minster2012 i sooooo felt like a badass por star, sadly, I think my body realised that a) it's Thursday and b) DH has lessons to plan afterwards and it went downhill from there. Now it's time for Big Mouth on Netflix and some choccies! Also I think the execution in @juno231 meant how the day went down but I could be wrong 🤣🤣🤣

@minster2012 that's just the July baby brain forgetting that the word execution has more than one meaning 😜

Another reason I hated planning it - in the run up when he was in Canada I was working 7 days week aaaalll day long and had zero time to plan anything. I quit just before the wedding but my god I've never hated a job as much as I did then!

@Juno231 😂🤣😆jesus if you hated your job then do you hate your job less now? You work so hard, I hope you are a millionaire if you don't like it that much is it worth it? (I realise I say this having spent at least 4 years out of the 8 I worked in a high Flying well paid job loathing every second so pot calling kettle there) it's very difficult to walk away. Turn the laptop off.

@minster2012 agreed that it sounds like you're describing my ov pains and the weird pains I continued having the second half of my TWW this time!

And yes believe it or not, my current is SO much better. Sadly although I make good money it's average for London and certainly doesn't make me a millionaire! I'm going for an interview on Monday that might hopefully feel a bit better than the current one though...

Mine kind of links with all the talk of some men only having one gender of swimmers so...
I’m 38 and a primary school teacher. Been with dh 20 years we met at school where I kept rebuffing his advances 🤣 he left at 16 but we met again at 18 and he said if I went on one date with him and didn’t like him he’d leave me alone. So I did and they was that! We had quite a few oops moments when ds1 and 2 were born unexpectedly when I was 21 and 22 and still training to be a teacher. Managed to pop them out and complete my degree and have been teaching ever since. Not currently enjoying it very much I have to say for the reasons @Newbie0818 @Clairey844 have said already. Ds3 was born when I was 26 and I conceived him after 1 cycle off mirena. So pretty sure DH only does boy swimmers 🤣 my boys are now 17,15 and 12 and we thought we’d like to add one more to our brood before it’s too late (dh is 38 too). Had mirena removed on 2nd July but not finding it so easy this time though I think I’m on cycle 6 now. Not complaining though I know I’m very lucky already.

@Franklydear a sore foof before AF? 😆 I've never that only sore stomach and back. Is that a thing? My husband thought that's what period pain was until I explained to him it's cramps in the stomach and back and not inside haha

Not fully caught up yet (this thread moves fast!), but loving hearing all the stories and getting to know you all a bit more.

I’m 32, married with an 18 month old DD. We’re on cycle 5 of TTC (I think), finding it a lot harder to muster up the enthusiasm to ‘try’ this time around with a toddler and a stressful job.

Desperately want to be pregnant again but also slightly nervous about the prospect of going back into the baby phase and wondering how I’ll cope with the sleepless night with a maniac toddler running around.

Oh wait, I actually just realised I’m 33 😂

Wow I've finally managed to sit and properly catch up on today! So a little bit about me..

• I'm 26
• Been with my fiancé 4.5 years, engaged for 1.5 but actually knew him for 9 years! ♥️
• Currently on cycle 2 ttc #1
• I work for my dads heating and plumbing company 🔥
• I'm in the process of training to be a gas engineer (nervous though as it's a very male orientated career 👩🏻‍🔧)
• I love tattoos, and would love to get more if money allowed it, but at the moment, I have other things I need to spend my money on for now!
• I have had baby fever for about 2 years now, waiting for the right time to come along to start trying! Now it's go time finally 🥳
• My other loves are my 4 legged besties!
