Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

@notyetamumbuttrying how bizarre 😂 must have been the night for weird dreams as I dreamt that even though i had my period last week I started being sick so on the off chance I took a test and got a BFP.. Oh we can dream can't we 🤣

@Franklydear Hugs to you xxx Obviously no one has any answers and it must be really worrying. All I would say is, I was led to believe testing was pointless because the hormone starts in your system for several weeks anyway, and therefore it would be positive. So I'm not sure it would help? Are you able to try to speak to a Dr (not a useless man) again? That idiot telling you to Google wants shooting. 😡

@Juno231 Some people do have swimmers that seem to be one way. But I don't think it's hereditary. My DHs dad has 4 boys! But 2 of those have kids and one has a boy and a girl and the other one has 2 girls! So don't panic yet. I doubt I'll have time for 2 so I'm not sure it's a concern anyway. 🤣

I'm so annoyed with the Mumsnet app, I have notifications turned on but they never actually notify me of anything so I have to search and scroll. Despite being tagged at the start of this bus, I only found it by looking for the naughtiest thread name haha!

Speaking of bowel movements 😂🙈 does anyone feel like they can nearly tell they are out by that? I get a bit constipated when progesterone is up and feel like when that's not a problem anymore then progesterone must be dropping and I'm out 😥 honestly the more attention I payand the more familiar I get with my cycle the less hope I have each month!

@Joanna1009 fertility friend all the way 😁 I've attached mine for reference but basically the scaling is just right to detect patterns I think, and the algorithm is good for detecting ov.

Hello, I am here, trying not to cry, so, it looks like it stopped bleeding, no cramps, no pain, no feeling different really, boobs still as big, looking at the bra, and sore, I also have some nausea... I am going to test in a bit, I want to see the words, I had an early miscarriage years ago, I didn’t know I was pregnant, I went to the doctor cos I felt so ill, ... this doesn’t feel the same, but maybe I am clutching at straws, I’ll call the midwife at some point, the doctors are useless, I'll blame it on google doctor, if needs be

@Juno231 I'm sorry AF arrived, but I'd be totally with you on waiting until Christmas Day to tell OH about any BFP, how magical would that be?! Lots of positive thoughts heading your way!

@Joanna1009 it looks like a line to me! I second the suggestion of trying a FRER if you can get your hands on one. I've ordered myself some to keep on hand as it's the go to recommendation when someone has a squinter of a line 😂 excited for you!

@NestinginNL I've just attached a better pic in the natural daylight from the window. I need a slapped wrist for doing this to myself at this stage as I'm only 5DPO. Can you even implant before 7DPO? I may see how it goes the next few mornings with these easy@home strips then get a FRER later.

Thanks @Katao I have the quickest cycles ever so I'll be out of sync by the time its done and then will have my lovely early ov 🙄 and yes to knowing when af is due. Progesterone is rife in me so I get more bowel movements, sweaty, spotty, emotional over nothing, bloated, frequent urination, the lot!

@notyetamumbuttrying to be honest I don't even know why, I don't have a decent answer!
@Diddy28 AF due 4th December. It could still come to be fair, I had a chemical 2 cycles ago which I only picked up from testing early

Well, it did stop, pretty much, test positive 1-2 weeks in a less than 2 hours hold and is a 25 ml, feeling physically fine, so not much more to do than wait and hope that it carries on that way... I just need to get a grip, thanks for the handhold, I really need it

@Franklydear hopefully the bleeding will stop and you'll be fine, but just in case it is bad news I wanted to mention that before DS1 this happened to me twice and both times I got pregnant again immediately. I've heard other women report this too, like a sort of "warm-up" cycle. But hopefully this is not what's happening to you.

@Joanna1009 that def looks positive to me, though no, you can't have implanted at 5DPO all the studies have earliest implantation at 6DPO as I remember, and the great majority more like 8-9 so there must be a miscalculation somewhere. If your ovulation was calculated by a temp rise though, this can easily be out by a day or two, it seems to happen slightly quicker in some women than others. Scientifically speaking, it's a really reliable way to confirm ovulation but it's not actually a very good way to pinpoint exactly when it happened. I only know all this because I did charting for contraception for years so knew all the rules/statistics inside out! (Natural family planning actually worked fine for me, though it's a bit of a faff.)

@Minster2012 It really is fascinating! Part of me wishes for a girl but over this last year I think maybe a boy wouldn't be so bad... supposedly they are more laid back but who knows! Either would be fab
