Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

How we roll on this bus...
⁃ No judgement & each to their own on your TTC journey
⁃ Sense of humour DEFINITELY required
⁃ A few of us like a sex toy a few don’t, there may be sex toys discussed! 🤪a few of our fellas have enjoyed this aspect
⁃ Support each other, ranting is allowed, saying you are down is encouraged & celebrating our happy days too 😘
⁃ We have fun
⁃ If you have a pet, it’s welcome aboard
⁃ NOTHING IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION

@Vil10 currently holds the 👑for filthiest/most embarrassing story, can you beat her???

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs

So far
6 BFPs in November

How many more 🤔🚌🥰

I'm doing really badly keeping up but everytime I catch up there is a bfp!! Congratulations @Clairey844 over the moon for you!

@kalidasa oh God I'm the same, vomiting before a bfp but unfortunately I also get pms vomiting so the test is still needed! You are obviously a fellow warrior you poor thing.

Clairey844 · 24/11/2020 12:26

@notyetamumbuttrying no we didn't because I fell pregnant this time last year but had a miscarriage in Feb so the doctors don't count the year until a year from your MC 😬 so I wasn't in a position to have any tests until Feb 2021.

lucyrp · 24/11/2020 12:26

@Vil10 I've started going to the gym again. I religiously went from January to March but hadn't started going since lockdown part of it was anxiety but once I got there I was fine. I've only been doing high incline walks and a few sets of weights but could really do with a pt for a few sessions to show me what to do😣

I'm an august baby and feel very offended right now😫😂

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 12:28

@kalidasa every cloud! 🤣 Definitely agree saving money is a good thing. But I wouldn't want August or December. However as @Juno231 says- now I'd just take whatever was given. 🙄

Smushty14 · 24/11/2020 12:30

@lucyrp I haven't been brave enough to go back since we went into lockdown in March 🙈 not that I can go right now anyway as we are still in lockdown.

I just had to check if I had wet myself... thankfully I haven't lost bladder control just a load of creamy CM - so strange!!

lucyrp · 24/11/2020 12:31

@Smushty14 I went back on Friday for the first time but feel a bit at a loss as I want someone to give me some structure to my workouts and I don't want to watch YouTube videos I want someone to be there and show me 😂

kalidasa · 24/11/2020 12:37

@Katao how awful to vomit with PMS! I often feel queasy but don't throw up, though I did keep throwing up for a while AFTER DS1 was born, which felt really unfair! Right now I am mostly just dizzy & light-headed, nauseous after meals. And really hot in the face! All signs of high progesterone I think.

Vil10 · 24/11/2020 12:40

@lucyrp I'm so jealous, ours don't open here until the 3rd, been shut since the 5th😫 for someone who goes 5/6 times a week and has done for years I feel horrible!! At least you're still going though and getting it done, that's the main thing💪🏽 I often look at fitness girls on Instagram and see what kinda things and weight sessions they do, and I've learnt all I know from them (and a gym junkie OH), but mainly the Instagram girls, I find it helps me so much!!

Katao · 24/11/2020 12:47

@kalidasa mine didn't wrap up after birth like it was supposed to either! Definitely very unfair. Were you on birth control or long off it? I was ok whennon birth control but then I guess they aren't proper periods in the pill free week.

lucyrp · 24/11/2020 12:50

@Vil10 ours have been open for a while i think haven't paid much attention, i don't have time to go that many times with my DS but try 3/4 times. i would go on the weekends but i work every other or sometimes every weekend so it's difficult although at the moment i'm on a later start so i am going in the mornings after DS is sorted 🙈 i'm particularly fond of meggan grubb and annie openshaw and i watch a lot of their videos to help but never brave enough to do it 😂

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 12:55

@kalidasa wow that you'd feel it so much to not order tests, we can only dream of that 😂🤣you must be very fertile or is it liked to why you felt awful during your pregnancies?

@Juno231 you really know how to make a girl feel good...NOT 😂🤪pass me the gin I will drown away my summer baby blues 😝😋

@NestinginNL we had a home birth for my friend & was very attentive, in a country where there a shortage of fans I bought her a fusion one 🙌🏻which duly blasted up her fanny as our son entered the world & we realised her neighbour was watching on (her living room is first floor) as he stood outside smoking in his garden...it was quite the magic moment 😝the midwife also enjoyed the blast!

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 12:59

@minster2012 haha no, you and DS are the exception to the rule! I just know my kids will take after OH and will need every bit of help they can get school wise 😂

Newbie0818 · 24/11/2020 13:05

@notyetamumbuttrying well I have no spotting or anything, no other symptoms apart from being hungry a lot, but I get that before af comes too so who knows. I hope your af doesn't come x

@AHobbyaweek do you think so?

@Clairey844 omg! Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 that's amazing. I hope I have luck like you, testing scares me haha. Every time I say I'll test af comes. I think I'm either 13dpo or 18dpo if I go by when I think I ovulated. I also wake up in the middle of the night, it's so annoying isn't it.

@Minster2012 I've given up hoping 😂

@Franklydear glad it's slowed down, sounds like IB.

@Smushty14 I hope so 🤞🏼

@blodyn91 really? Can I see your chart again? I'm too scared to hope haha x

@Katao I don't think so as every time I say I will af comes haha.

Gem176 · 24/11/2020 13:14

Wait for me!!!! I'm so late to this party! @Minster2012 I'm loving the bus name 🙈😂

I think I get AF depression, just go into social hibernation for the week, it makes me so miserable! Add in the biggest and worst misunderstanding EVER! I can sort of laugh about it now but Friday was the day from hell! Although a nice 🍆 session last night has put me in a much better mood 😊

Congratulations on all the bfps 🥳 and a big virtual cuddle for any bfns!

Patiently waiting on ovulation, predicted for 1st/2nd December and then again for 31st December... Hogmanay conception seems unlikely though🥂🍸🍹🤪

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/11/2020 13:19

@Clairey844 oh I see! So pleased you don't have to have them now anyway. Lots of luck for a sticky bean!
@Newbie0818 such a rollercoaster isn't it lol! I'm trying to not get excited as I do feel like AF is coming, just can't help dreaming it won't. Are you and wait n see n test if late kinda girl?x

Kirky658 · 24/11/2020 13:22

All the women in DH's family born in December and the men in June. Man they are expensive months. So I'm outta the danger zone now for birth months 🤣

Do you ever feel like your month is broken into two parts? Time before OV and the TWW 😂

I was having a really bad day work wise yesterday and genuinely considering calling this helpline thing we have with work where we get free counselling because I just feel so down about the whole TTC thing. Because of my endometriosis we've spent 3 years trying to get to a point where I can be off BC (which helps the pain as stops cycles) in order to TTC and now are trying it feels like we've been trying forever already as we've had to wait so long.. Does that make any sense or not really 🤔

I'm feeling a bit brighter today though!

kalidasa · 24/11/2020 13:29

@Minster2012 I had very severe hyperemesis in both pregnancies (and also my pelvis failed -- so I was in hospital the first half and in a wheelchair the second half!). I think women with the most severe form of hyperemesis do often feel sick very quickly. I was admitted to hospital both times at only about 5/6 weeks. Trying not to dwell on this right now though! I did get pregnant quickly with my DCs so I definitely was pretty fertile then but both I and DH are quite a lot older now so I've been assuming it would take a few months. I don't think we time it brilliantly this month either!

@Katao I've actually never been on hormonal birth control. I used natural family planning before DS1 and when I was so sick with him the docs told me to avoid hormonal contraception as it might make me sick (though it sounds like you had the opposite experience?) so I had a copper coil between DS1 and DS2 and again after DS2 until I had it taken out a couple of weeks ago.

kalidasa · 24/11/2020 13:31

@Kirky658 really sorry to hear about the endometriosis. Will it get worse again now you're off BC then? That must be quite daunting too.

Katao · 24/11/2020 13:38

@Minster2012 hardly the dream! 🤢

@kalidasa I completely understand, I'm definitely living in a state of denial most of time as I don't think I would be able to ttc otherwise. We'll park it there 😉 good luck to you 😘

Kirky658 · 24/11/2020 13:46

@kalidasa wow that sounds rough wishing you all the very best.

Regards the endo it's hard to say tbh. The consultant said that now it's been removed after my surgery it will come back but recurrence can be from 3-8 years post surgery so hard to say. But I am concerned as after my first surgery my symptoms came back after 4 months!

Vil10 · 24/11/2020 13:54

@lucyrp I have no other commitment other than work so that's literally how I fill my time😂 yeah it's understandable though, but like I said at least you're still going! Ooo I've never watched them, I usually watch Lucy Davis, Hanna Oeberg and Kim French! Sophie Austin is really good too, she's real, her weight fluctuates and she always documents it and is so honest about it!

lucyrp · 24/11/2020 13:57

@Vil10 i wish i could go more but i can't. the gym doesn't open until 9 and closes at 8 so that basically rules out all the time i have available to go 😂😂 and it's not even the same time every day its all over the place every day 🙄i've never heard of them either, other than hannah. she's not long had a baby has she ?

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 13:59

Oh no @katao I just meant the dream where @kalidasa said a conception is quite likely on the first month that was all, then asked about the pregnancies, I didn't mean to be flippant, if it came across like that I'm sorry, I'm obviously not using the right English today!

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 14:06

And I meant we bought her a dyson fan. Bloody autocorrect. We don't have a dyson fan 😂

AF FINALLY CAME!!! I'm finally back at CD1 after the weirdest, longest cycle ever 😭 I'm so relieved!!! (And like a touch disappointed I'm not pregnant but that was the longest shot ever this cycle)

CD1!!!!!
