Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

Where TTC is sometimes the smallest part of the conversation and we like to keep things fun & spicy cos let's face it, TTC can be as hard as a very useful phallus shaped wooden kitchen implement. 🍆

TTC should be fun. And fortunately we have each other to make each other laugh, giggle & more often than not, spit out our tea or wine

We’ve actually been around each other since March but various of us running this bus since June & not got sick of each other yet ❤️🥰

How we roll on this bus...
⁃ No judgement & each to their own on your TTC journey
⁃ Sense of humour DEFINITELY required
⁃ A few of us like a sex toy a few don’t, there may be sex toys discussed! 🤪a few of our fellas have enjoyed this aspect
⁃ Support each other, ranting is allowed, saying you are down is encouraged & celebrating our happy days too 😘
⁃ We have fun
⁃ If you have a pet, it’s welcome aboard
⁃ NOTHING IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION

@Vil10 currently holds the 👑for filthiest/most embarrassing story, can you beat her???

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs

So far
6 BFPs in November

How many more 🤔🚌🥰

@Minster2012 I honestly don't know when I'm due! I mean, technically I was due in September 😂 but I had a BFN on Halloween. My app says that if I were to follow the pattern before my period went AWOL that I'd be due on 30th November, but who knows?! 😂
Trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard!

Smushty14 · 24/11/2020 10:13

@Minster2012 I'm the same!! My hands and feet are 99% of the time blocks of ice! I have really bad circulation but whenever I was taken to the doctors when I was younger it just got fobbed off 🙈

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 10:14

@InkyPaper you are like me then with the cycle. It's so frustrating isn't it

@Smushty14 I have raynauds it's horrible.

Thank you everyone-I really hope this run of luck continues for more of us on the bus; obviously I'm over the moon but I also know the feeling that yet another person is pregnant when you're still not so I just want to acknowledge that for anyone feeing that because as much as you're happy when someone gets a BFP (especially on here) it can be hard when it's not you.

But then it's not been me for 18months and now it is me.

@Minster2012 I know!! Think my superstitious-ness eased for some reason, like I posted about not spotting and I didn't start spotting, I googled things about pregnancy and she still didn't arrive so I think this morning after 2 nights of being wide awake I thought fuck it-if I was then it would show and it might help the insomnia if I wasn't laying there wondering. Plus I have parents evening tomorrow (until 7) so could really do with some sleep tonight.

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 10:43

@Clairey844 18 months?! Wow!

AHobbyaweek · 24/11/2020 10:46

@Clairey844 wooooopoo congratulations 🎉

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/11/2020 10:49

@Minster2012 she's due today and can feel my usual niggles etc so I do feel like I'm being trolled lol!
Ah bless your son! I agree, she must have similar.
Enjoy the garden centre 🎄
@Florence13 thank you, that would be so lovely to do!!
@Juno231 it makes me worry! He has his follow up call with the urologist tomorrow so we can finally see the outcome of his bloods 🙌🏾 sorry for bfn but you're right about the august baby!
@Clairey844 congrats 🥳 wonderful news!
Thanks @Katao temps going up are good right?

Florence13 · 24/11/2020 11:03

@Minster2012 hope you enjoy the garden centre that sounds lovely.

@Clairey844 aww bless you but we are all super happy for you and at least we have all got each other until we all get our BFPs.

@notyetamumbuttrying aww well I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you hun

Franklydear · 24/11/2020 11:06

Well, it should teach me to not sleep with the telly on, the phone ringing woke me, not my phone, on the telly
Still a bit residue on paper, nothing on knickers so... perfectly normal, I guess, most important thing, not to worry until there is something to worry about

Franklydear · 24/11/2020 11:07

@Clairey844 wow, what a wonderful week this is turning out to be

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 11:26

@Kirky658 it doesn't make a difference in the grand scheme of things but just means they're youngest in school and often (especially if boys) struggle to catch up the first few years where development is massively different between eg a 3 and 4 year old. I've had colleagues whose kids have been rejected from the good schools on the assumption that their kid would drag down the stats lol.

Kirky658 · 24/11/2020 11:49

@juno231 ahhhh interesting I'd never thought of that! Perhaps it's good I've missed that one then 😂

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 11:56

@Kirky658 ha yeah but ultimately I'd just be happy to have a baby regardless of month! A lot of the Feb bus girls for instance skipped March cause they were adament they didn't want Christmas babies but still ploughed on, pun intended 😂

Vil10 · 24/11/2020 11:59

@lucyrp I usually pay for them in bulk then do 2 a week for 5 weeks! They're so so good I love it!! I can't wait to get back next week when they re open, I feel like I've put so much weight on!!

@Minster2012 you're just the gift that keeps on giving!! Thankyou!!x

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/11/2020 12:00

@Clairey844 did you start investigations when you got to the year mark? We're at 14 months now and started investigations at 11 months. Turns out Dh has low count, motility and morphology so our chances are mega slim naturally!
@Florence13 thank you. Obsessively weeing, wiping and looking for signs of it this morning 😂
@Juno231 I always think of that! My sister is 27th august and struggled so much at school, didn't help that she got diagnosed with dyslexia so late too. Her second son is an august baby too but he wasn't planned. She was one of those oops I'm pregnant but on the pill types 🙄😂

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 12:07

Ha ha I always find the school years things amusing. I'm a late July baby & my mum is a teacher & had a June & July baby. Wasn't fussed. I may not always be good at English @Kirky658 helps me...& I'm awful at maths, literally awful but did alright at school/life & DH & I were discussing this the other night when I reminded him I got a very efficient 1st class degree (as in just over) & got a very efficient 2:1, scraping the same!) obviously he had more fun 😂🙄as a November baby after his mum (also a teacher) made a "ooo she timed that badly" comment for his cousin who gave birth end of august. As if you actually can. Interesting on your friends though @Juno231, DS started shouting at me early (sorry I mean speaking) so will bear that in mind!!

So from this week and our last two buses we've established that if you follow the rules then you'll get pregnant right?? Good. Glad we cleared that one up!

Onwards and upwards to more BFPs ladies ❤️🎄

I've just seen lots of ppl come into the garden centre to buy their Xmas trees and it's really made me want to reconsider our mid Dec time 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄😊

@Clairey844 congratulations. What a bumper week this has been x

Minster2012 · 24/11/2020 12:08

I should have said DS an even later July baby. Like the end of July and some ppl did say that bout him already. He's certainly not backwards at coming forwards atm

kalidasa · 24/11/2020 12:09

@Clairey844 congratulations! Amazing after 18 months! You must be so thrilled.

@NestinginNL congratulations to you too - that's a lovely triphasic chart you have there.

I feel pretty weird to be honest but am still very early (about 5DPO). Think my progesterone must be very high this cycle and a conception is quite likely but that doesn't mean it will implant OK, especially as I am quite old! With my DCs pregnancy tests were pretty redundant as it was very obvious by 14DPO (so ill!) so I haven't ordered any. I'll see how I feel in a few days. Just before DS1 I had a couple of very early losses (felt awful, faint positive, then started bleeding a few days later) which were only really obvious because I was so unwell already.

@Juno231 I thought that about August babies too but on the plus side you pay for a lot less pre-school childcare! (selfish parent)

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 12:13

@minster2012 there are always exceptions! Here's a snippet from the BBC that shows a wider view though!

Bus 23- willies bouncing off cervix’s 🍆& downing prenatals with mouthfuls of jizz. TTC Nov/Dec 🚌
Juno231 · 24/11/2020 12:14

@kalidasa omg yes childcare costs would be so much better - especially if you had twins 🤤

NestinginNL · 24/11/2020 12:15

@Minster2012 and @Juno231 it's curious about the end of summer child thing. I was always ahead and my husband was bumped forwards a year so was by far the youngest, so I'm just assuming our child will be precocious 😅 I'm quite glad they won't have an autumn due date.

That said, my aunt was a teacher and basically kept her legs crossed for just that reason, my cousin was born September first and it was totally right for her, she struggled in school as it was.

Also @Minster2012 your poor friend/surrogate! I hope the hospital had good aircon 🥵

NestinginNL · 24/11/2020 12:15

Why did all that go bold? 🤔
