8dpo - Period like cramps?

sunshinecitrus1 · 18/11/2020 17:48

Hi Everyone!

I am 8dpo and this evening feel as though I have mild period cramps. Could this be implantation or does implantation feel different? My breasts feel heavier and fuller and I can see blue visible veins on my chests, breasts and hips, CM seems to be creamy. Other than that no other real symptoms. I am trying not to think the period like cramps are a bad sign!
@KSP8273 Ah amazing! 😊 A few days have passed since I found out and in all honesty, I have been a little overwhelmed, scared, anxious and haven’t felt excited at all. Which I have felt guilty about too as I know how lucky I am. But tonight is the first time that I have had excited feelings coming through so I’m hoping that that is a sign I am starting to process it and over the initial shock! 😊 How exciting for you! How are you preparing, are you cycle tracking or just trying to go with the flow?

@Krista123 Hope you’re doing OK today!
I'm ok today, had a bit of a cry yesterday but AF has still not made an appearance, no signs whatsoever, apart from an increase in discharge so I have absolutely no clue what's going on! Normally I come in straight away from the first symptom so who knows! Hope your doing ok 😊

@Krista123 I don’t want to get your hopes up but it seems very similar to my situation. I had more white creamy CM on the days leading up to AF and when she was due as well. Sounds like there is a difference in your cycle compared to normal this month so it sounds really promising and I have everything crossed for you Smile AF was due today right? When will you test?

Honestly, I really hope so but every little cramp I get, I think she's coming! My FLO app says period in one day but I tend to come a day early or day late. I have absolutely no idea when I'll test😂 I don't think I want to as I don't want to see a BFN, I'd rather just wait until my period comes or test when I'm a few days late. My symptoms are just bizarre compared to normal but I might just be stressing my body out x

@Krista123 It’s so annoying isn’t it! It makes you obsessed with every little thing! Yeah that’s completely fair enough, I was the same. I didn’t test until the day after I was late because I knew how unusual that was for me. You’re better off to wait those few more days (you’ve waited long enough now already!) to avoid disappointment. Really hoping the next few days for you goes well and AF doesn’t show up! x

I know, every little twinge, I'm thinking this is it. My boobs are no longer sore which is making me think AF is on her way! Apart from CM increasing, (which is very odd for me) I don't know what else to think! But definitely keeping my fingers crossed🤞

sunshinecitrus1 · 03/12/2020 10:59

@Krista123 I haven’t had sore boobs throughout the entire thing so far. They have felt heavier and fuller but not sore. Nipples were a bit sore a few days after ovulation but that was basically it so that wasn’t obviously an early symptom for me. The increase in CM could be Leukorrhea. Try and keep yourself busy for the next few days 😊 Keeping my fingers crossed x

Not good! AF arrived last night. I am absolutely devastated beyond words. I actually thought it had happened this month but never mind. Hope your doing ok x

sunshinecitrus1 · 05/12/2020 15:54

I am absolutely gutted but I'll move on from it. The only issue with TTC now is that I'm due to get married at the beginning of September haha! But my referral should be in now for the fertility clinic so that might take a while. Good luck with your pregnancy and will definitely keep you updated x

Pollyell · 05/12/2020 19:20

@sunshinecitrus1
just catching up on your updates - sorry to hear you were feeling so stressed, I can 100% understand how you were feeling and think I will be the same when it happens. Seeing that BFP must be almost like 'end (or start?!) of an era'. Especially when it happened so quickly for you! Glad you're starting to feel excited about it. How have your symptoms been? x

sunshinecitrus1 · 05/12/2020 22:00

@Krista123 Oh wow! That would be Sod’s law wouldn’t it, if you try next month and you conceive... Will the wedding or baby be first in September, who knows! Lol! Thank you for the good luck wishes Smile All the best x

@Pollyell Hi! Smile Yeah it is all very overwhelming and I have had so many questions spinning around my head. Things I’ve never even thought about before! It’s like how much am I supposed to know at this point during a first pregnancy!? It makes me feel unprepared. My symptoms have been OK so far, I’ve had a metallic taste in my mouth and more saliva than usual, my stomach feels bloated most of the time, keep needing to pee and I’ve had an achy back but that is more or less it so far Smile How are you doing? Bet you’re counting down the days again to the TTW! x

Haha I have absolutely no idea! My wedding is the 3rd September so I'll either be heavily pregnant, or just had it! So it'll be risky haha! But I'll definitely let you know! Thankyou so much! It's been so nice to speak on here x

sunshinecitrus1 · 06/12/2020 00:18

@Krista123 Well I believe everything happens for a reason so time will tell hey! Grin Yes please do stay in touch, it would be lovely to find out how you get on! Smile x

Hi there! Currently TTC baby #3 on month 3 & feeling a bit defeated didn't take me very long with my other 2, just a bit of a blegh moment.

Any other TTC ladies around? Smile

CloudyVenus · 02/01/2023 14:37

Hi everyone,

I am 7-8DPO today and I've had 2 colds since the end of November. Second one supposedly started the day after I was supposed to ovulate, now I'm not sure if its thrown everything off.

I've been coughing quite badly because of this and I have been getting strange pressure/light cramps in the pubic area. Is this caused by the coughing? I usually only notice it on my ribcage with a bad cough so I'm not sure if I just pulled a muscle, what do you all think please?

My partner has been ill both times as well before me, no idea where he's picking it up from! Never been ill twice so close together before. Thank you.
