8dpo - Period like cramps?

Hi Everyone!

I am 8dpo and this evening feel as though I have mild period cramps. Could this be implantation or does implantation feel different? My breasts feel heavier and fuller and I can see blue visible veins on my chests, breasts and hips, CM seems to be creamy. Other than that no other real symptoms. I am trying not to think the period like cramps are a bad sign!

@mrsrichy I defo see a line! Eeeeeeeeeeeeep! It is so faint that its difficult on photo to see if it has colour, someone else might be better?

(Someone else might be better at being able to tell than I am, I meant)

@Pollyell Thank you! To be honest I don’t feel as though AF is coming today, apart from a tightness feeling (not cramps) in my stomach area, my symptoms seem to have disappeared! My temp has gone up today too which by now I’d usually have a dip... What do you think?

It may still be a little early for you, you’re not out yet! Fingers crossed, you’re slowly getting closer to the end of your TWW so not too much longer to wait

@mrsrichy I can see a faint line for sure! Are you going to do anymore testing!? exciting!! What do you think of my BBT chart? My temp has elevated today and AF is due today. 16dpo today and my cramps seem to have subsided, I’ve had them for a few days expecting AF to come but nothing. I am usually like clockwork so this feels very different for me!

@sunshinecitrus1 honestly temping confuses me so much! I got so stressed with mine as jumped around so much and then I panicked that I was poorly 🤦‍♀️😂 definitely definitely take a test though if you're due today!! I have everything crossed for you 🤞🤞
Ahh do you think there is a line there! I'm going to give and buy some more tests this morning, I'm so nervous though. I dont think I can take seeing the words "not pregnant" again.

@sunshinecitrus1 no AF, thats so exciting! Do you think you will test today?

@mrsrichy I know what you mean, I find myself googling so much about it. Trying to work out what does this mean, is this normal! Lol. I’m scared to test too early! If I think I’m pregnant and I get a BFN I am not sure how I’ll react. I definitely can see something there It’s so scary to test in the fear of bad news.

@Pollyell I’m scared to test, I worry it will be a BFN. I am thinking to do it tomorrow or Saturday until I am officially late. How are you doing today?

Thats totally fair, it is rotten seeing a BFN. Maybe will be easier for you to test at weekend too rather than during the week?

Cramps have been slightly milder today and still no AF. Getting so sick of googling symptoms now, seems to be my main focus (despite having a full time job haha)

@pollyell no AF is a good sign!! Can totally relate to googling every symptom, I'm glued to google and mumsnet at the moment 🤦‍♀️😂

@mrsrichy glad I'm not the only one! It is so addictive checking mumsnet and seeing if others are in similar position, glad we "early crampers" have this thread!
When do you reckon you'll test again? The one you posted defo looks like a BFP though x

@pollyell Oh you're definitely not the only one haha. I've been googling progression line photos all night and comparing!!

I'm not gonna lie I've done another 2 today but both were blank, a bit gutted but I'm hoping it's just because my urine wasnt strong enough. I could open up a chemist with all the different brands of tests I've bought today 😂😂 think I'll do a cheap one tomorrow morning and maybe a clear blue early detection. So nervous!!

When are you planning on testing?

@mrsrichy I think at 11DPO you can defo get a BFP in morning and BFN in evening. Sounds like a plan re. Doing one this morning then, let us know!

I have already caved and used 2 FRER, both BFN, and am not allowing any more tests in the house till Tues when I think i will be 14 dpo! What is it about using up tests? Its like instant gratification except the opposite as a BFN doesn't gratify Hahaha x

@pollyell it's so hard resisting! You're not out until AF arrives. I did 2 this morning and both negative. So gutted, but I'm not due on until Mon/Tues so trying to stay positive x

Fingers crossed for you @mrsrichy. If you don't mind me asking, did you use the same type of test this morning ? Just wondering if different brands have different sensitivities.

@Pollyell @mrsrichy Still no AF and my temp is rising! I really feel like this month is it. I’m going to get some tests after work so will soon find out. I am freaking out a bit though as the timing isn’t great as my OH has just took voluntary redundancy. So hopefully if I do get a BFP we can get things sorted quickly financially! How are you girls today?

Really sorry about your OH's work situation. Seems to be happening to a lot recently. But, my SIL'S OH was made redundant recently and was gutted, but now has his dream job and is so much happier! Hope yours manages to find something.

@pollyell glad your AF has stayed away and your cramps are easing. It would be so lovely if we all got our BFPs this month. I'm feeling less positive this month now after my negatives this morning. I did an IC, FRER and early clear blue test and not a hint of a positive on any. So gutted guess time will tell

@Pollyell @mrsrichy I got my BFP this morning!! I am in a lot of shock! Happy of course but got lots of things buzzing round my mind! Really hoping for positive news from you two now! xx

I did 2 cheapies this morning and they are playing with my emotions now! Wondering if I have a faulty batch. The first one took aaaaages for the dye to pass through the test window, then has come up with a faint line (it's not really showing on the photo cause I havent put any lights on yet 😂😂). I did a 2nd with the tiniest bit of urine whilst I was waiting and nothing on that at all. I think I'm out this month

@mrsrichy that is so confusing I can 100% see a line on the top one too. When are you due AF?

Also @mrsrichy are you having any symptoms?

@Pollyell it's gone darker as its dried, but I don't think I trust it based on all the BFNs I had yesterday on branded ones. I'm going to try my best to hold off testing now until I'm late, as I really got my hopes up on Thursday and was so emotional with all the BFNs yesterday! I think I'm due on around Mon/Tues.

The only symptom I've had has been the sharp pains at the start of the week and then a slight dull ache since then really. Oh and being VERY emotional 🤦‍♀️

Are you still holding out until Tuesday to test? Have you had any symptoms?

@mrsrichy that sounds like a plan waiting till mon or tues, it sounds like it's all taking its toll on you. Wouldn't life be simpler if there was a guarantee that tests cant be positive before missed period! Then we wouldn't be tempted with all these flipping early tests!! We need to take a leaf out of Sunshine's book hahaha. Can you do something nice this weekend to try and relax?

My cramps basically stopped on thursday. Some mild nausea and a bit constipated. I think I'll be 14 dpo on Tuesday so going by average population i guess AF will be due then - this is my first proper cycle since getting implant out so not 100% sure what to expect!

@sunshinecitrus1 congratulations! I came on to read this because I am having period like cramps at 6/7 dpo (I actually can't remember when we dtd). It was so nice seeing your story. When you posted your chart I knew it would be good news it looked just like my chart when I conceived DD! So lovely to see your update this morning. Hopefully everyone will have similar news soon
