What a morning, autistic ds refused to go to school as his legs hurt, when I say refused I mean cramped in a ball in the sofa, half an hour to coach him out of that position, had to dress him, and get DH to drive us there, ... On the way to work now, I might even be on time

I was a sims fan back in the day too. Even to the point where I was making skins for people to download on the site 😂 good times.

BFN here today. I must just be having a longer cycle which would explain the lack any of spotting. Annoyed with myself for thinking I might have actually had a chance this month 🤦‍♀️ hopefully someone will have some luck

Soooo I'm officially giving my own head a wobble. After all my "I don't even know if I'm ovulating at this point", "what does this chart even mean", "I'm probably too old now anyway" blah blah blah I finally got an LH peak just now and EWCM, high cervix etc. I can't remember which one of you lovely lot called it but one of you suggested it may be a late ovulation around day 17 and that prediction looks like it'll be spot on. Now just to hope my OH hasn't pickled his swimmers with all the bloody beer he drinks to excess 😒.

In other news I'm binging vikings again and I can honestly say I get a little mangè twangè every time I see Björn Ironside 🤤💦

I love sims!!!! But I was also a cruel tyrant.
Maybe I should go back to sims but currently knitting Christmas socks.

I never played sims but I had sim city, if its similar? Which I did like.
I'll never be building my own house though. Partly because I'll never afford it and partly because DH and I are so indecisive, its a miracle we decide what's for dinner most days. 🤣 So I don't envy you the pressure @juno231. The kitchen has to be right definitely though. Make sure you can fit the sofa you want in the living room (our door is in a weird place meaning not only does it make room layout rubbish, its also hard to get it in there!). Also I'd kill for an extra toilet, more storage space and massive wardrobes. Our house isn't even that small really. But I do have a lot of clothes (these are not designer things but I have dog clothes and horse clothes and work clothes etc).

@Minster2012 mine is a shit tip too. How often are you meant to clean and where does this time come from? I maybe have time. I just pretend I don't.

Looks like I've ovulated though this month now. Was a bit later than normal. Which is good for me as I always think its too early. I can't believe we all have the same Christmas day fantasy. But then it has to happen for one of us (statistically) right? 🤔

So ladies I've signed off sick for the rest of the day. My AF is horrendously heavy and painful and I've got an awful headache. My boss said don't you have painkillers and I almost said only paracetamol because I'm trying to conceive phew that was a close one!!! Upshot is pj's on, laptop off and an afternoon of hot water bottle and crappy telly. Xx

@Juno231, I second all of what @Minster2012 said re plans and utility/island/reading seat. I will also add (and all personal opinion, depends on your lifestyle and circumstances):

• you're better off with 4 decent size bedrooms than 5 small ones
• even though it's smaller, I like option 1 for ground floor best as it has good division of space and flow
• is there a reason for the living room door placement? I would go with two sliding French-type doors leading off the hallway over a single width door poked in the corner. It will make the room feel bigger but you'd still have plenty of space for furniture placement
• second floor I'd go with option 2 or 3, however if you opted for a shower over bath you could have a built in robe to the second bedroom. I do think you need more closet space for the master bedroom, if at all possible.
• storage storage storage. Add it wherever you can!!

Looks great though! So much fun, I could play tetris with floorplans for hours 😂

@lucyrp I would just go. An imaginary line really makes no difference. Its no more risky than you going elsewhere and if you go elsewhere you'll end up walking up and down aisles 1000 times looking for things!

I love the Sims too! I'm terrible at designing houses in the game though, they always end up looking like rectangles with a roof 😂 I wish it was as easy to conceive in real life as it is in the Sims though!!

I've just realised, it was this time last year in the lead up to Xmas that I was planning to take a test on Xmas day. I had no clue about charts and fertile windows and all that, we were just DTD and thought that would be a nice pressie. How friggin stupid was I?!?!
I secretly have the Xmas fantasy too, but I think I'm more realistic this time around knowing all I know 😂

@InkyPaper mine are awful too 🤣 I'm glad I didn't become an architect...
