Right I'm gonna nosey at @Juno231s floor plan & ive worked 2 places where you can get paid your holiday & we told our staff they had to take it or get paid it & most opted to get paid out...good for us as we need them

@Juno231 where's your window in the kitchen? Couple of things I will say...always have a utility room if you can. Shut in the crap, ideally with a door outside. A reading seat /area not used enough, utility room always used. Always have an en-suite of you can, how big are the bedrooms? Would you lose too much without the other bedroom in level 2? I would say also have an island as opposed to not, it's a focal point & again there's always somewhere needed for "walking in & putting crap down" in ANY house. But it's so much nicer to sit at an island being sociable with mates whilst cooking then say "shall we sit down"...and the golden triangle is important.

@AHobbyaweek that counts, and we also started making ass fruit cocktails. Ass tastes better with gin many of us found. I also put it in smoothies. Healthier but not as fun

@minster2012 we achieved very very little. Boss was terrible today, not taking control so we kept going round in circles and not getting anything done. Head was banginf by the end!!

Just eaten half a massive bar of Galaxy and had the hugest glass of red wine and don't even feel guilty. AF is the heaviest it's been since my surgery and painful too 😭

I'm really looking at it now!! @Juno231 I wouldn't have a WC door opening inwards, you would have to step back to open the door in the room, as opposed to a hallway which is dead space

I'm still thinking on the kitchen, I would have the table orientated parallel with the window, if you can relinquish the storage space on the wall if it was the other way round? is it a window or patio doors? What's out there?

@InkyPaper god it sounds horrendous & wine & choc necessary. I hope you are feeling a bit better if it's painful?

@Juno231 I don't understand on the second floor why the last one has 2 doors for the bathroom? That's the best to my mind if you don't need the extra bedroom but why an extra door? How big would that space be? It could be a linen cupboard opening out into the landing or a storage cupboard built into that bedroom.

@minster2012 100% agree with you on the door swinging outwards and on the dining table being parallel (to the bifold/French doors). 💪 Perhaps a u-shaped/peninsula kitchen to make the most of the space?

@Minster2012 omg I wish I had choc in the house!! Trying to be good (doing weight watchers) and today I have all the regrets of my chocolate-less cupboards 😭 I don't actually drink much alcohol... I don't like the taste of most of them! I basically drink mead, Bailey's, and Coole Swan 😂 but I can't right now as it triggers the IBS 😩 I am feeling better, thanks, just want the muscle pain to go!

Yep 18 months is a hella long time. Waiting on blood test results to work out how effed up my body is!

Morning all, late getting up for work and as I'm on here I'm clearly not doing anything to hurry myself up 😂

@Juno231 yeah I didn't think 3/4 days was going to hurt, they're on offer at the moment and I can get 90 EPO tablets for £3.74😅 also on the holiday, we used to be able to get paid for our holiday if we didn't take it but not anymore. If we don't take it we lose it! All of us had at least 30 days to take when we came back from Covid so that has been fun trying to get us all on holiday while we don't have enough staff too 😂

CD15 nothing to report here, temps are steady which is good I guess, up earlier than usual as OH had to leave for work half hour earlier. I have 3 days off now before working all weeeknd, yesterday was absolutely diabolical at work we saw a handful of people and didn't even make enough money to cover my wages let alone my managers. I have a dilemma also as I live so close to the welsh English border and I always go shopping in the nearest big town to me in England for my food shopping so am debating whether I still go there or not, I'm so set in my ways it makes me anxious thinking about shopping in a different supermarket😅🙈

@Franklydear it seems to be the same most days now unfortunately hoping that when England come out of lockdown it may pick up slightly as most of our visitors come from the midlands but not feeling too hopeful. I carried on shopping there when wales were in lockdown as it's my mums closest supermarket as she lives right on the border, her postcode and address is England but pays her council tax to the county in wales! I may brave it but not sure. Mum normally comes with me but she's busy so can't 🙈🤦🏼‍♀️
