@amy2503 don't count yourself out yet-this bus seems to have some sticky baby dust on board and lots of people have cramps that aren't necessarily a sign of the wicked witch.

@paintfairy I was just thinking the same about it coming in 3s!! Anyone close to a teat date-I'm still 6 days away (4 days from AF but I'm superstitious so will only test on a Friday 😂😂)

Small victories here, CD 26 and no spotting yet so I think the vitex I started this cycle is having the desired effect.

@Vil10 no not had any tests done, we both have 2kids each from previous relationships but my youngest is 11 so was a long time ago, & I'm nearly 36 so will go get checked out in the new year.

@Newbie0818 if I was in your position I would just DTD as & when you feel like it & wait for your appointment, if you feel it's all getting too much so you try to make it less stressful for you. Just enjoy Christmas, reconnect as a couple, drink shit loads of alcohol & start a fresh in the New Year. That's what I would do personally, but you have to follow your heart & do what you feel is right for you 💖

When I fell pregnant in August (after 15 months!) my best friend decided she wanted a baby, I miscarried in September & then she got her BFP in Oct (2nd month trying!) I'm just totally gutted we won't be doing the journey together 😒

@Kirky658 sorry to hear you're feeling shit! I also felt like this two months before we got out BFP, we were having performance 'issues' and it felt like everything was against us, so we just decided to stop the OPKs etc. And take it easy for a while, that made us miss two months really, but when we started again (DTD, but still not testing etc.) we got our BFP. I know its shit, but it definitely will happen x

So I thought my next af was due Christmas Day but it's not it's due the 22nd, mums 50th is the 23rd and I know people would think me telling someone literally the day after taking a test is mad, but it would only be my mum and she's literally like my best friend, and is so so excited to be grandma so I would just love to be able to give her a card on her 50th like "you'll be spending your next birthday with your first grandchild, baby ...... due" I honestly think it would be the best birthday present she could wish for!!

In other good news (but faaaar less significant 😂) my chart might not be fucked after all 😃. It's given my a cover line and confirmed ovulation in line with my opks so I'm pretty chuffed 😊

Although not sure what this mornings dip is about 🤷‍♀️

@Vil10 that's a lovely way to tell your mum! My mum is like my best friend so when I got my BFP in August I told her before I told my OH🙈

@Vil10 I cannot tell my mum until is completely public, it would be more discreet if they announce it on the bbc 6 o’clock news, I am not ready to get calls from the cousins in South America

@Vil10 I usually just put up the tree, cos he isn't bothered by helping 🤷‍♀️he thinks it's boring, not romantic & lovely or a family thing to do (mind you with an 18 month old last year it wasn't fun, & this year I'm not sure with a 2.5 year old who will be less stressful but we will try!) it's not how they paint it on John Lewis adverts in this house!! That sounds so nice for your mum. Our bus can make it happen!!

I only temp to confirm whether I've ovulated or not as it can be hit or miss with pcos. Fingers crossed I have been so far. I suppose what I was asking was should I just stop expecting the possibility of a natural conception or not, and just accept that it might not happen rather than get silly and hope each month. We tend to just DTD when we want anyway and even more when I notice I have fertile cm. I just wonder if there's any point given the sperm struggle to penetrate...
Fertility help will come in the next few months hopefully, we should find out exactly when in the next week.

My cycles are pretty bang on, usually 28days, but had one at 28 & 23 this last year🙄

My AF only lasted 2 days which is shorter than normal and then reading above convinced myself I should test just in case odd bleeding then decided I was being silly hoping. My head is odd.

I'm annoyed today for non TTC reasons. Finished my first sock and it is too damn small. Fuck.
Back to the pattern board.

@Newbie0818 yeah it's bollocks basically 😂 I'm just sat in agony already as I get such bad period pain, have done since I was a teenager! It's in my vagina rather than uterus so it's not cramping that I get. That comes once I'm on, oh the joys! Have you and Dh discussed what you'll do? Ivf wise etc? Having a plan is always handy I find! At least you know what you'll do after X amount of time, that's keeping me going with it all.

@Vil10 she will be, my brother and sister in law just announce her pregnancy at 3 months, and she went ballistic, tbf they realised late, but I am not ready for the world to know at 6 weeks, and by the world I mean anybody she’ll meet in the street, the cousin of the mother in law of a girl I went to school with, or something like that, I don’t want to imagine a Facebook message from someone really removed from me I wouldn’t have told, and my actual friends finding out that way, for example, luckily she is not expecting this to be a possibility so I’ll just tell her it was a surprise
