@SarahTTC2020 aww we used to have outdoor ones when I was younger and they did the same, a dominance thing haha. I couldn't imagine my boy outside all year round now though, he definitely likes his home comforts ha.

@Kirky658 I honestly couldn't live without a tortoise now haha, I think it's one of those things that when you get one you realise how awesome they are and life is never the same again 😂 aww Winston! What breed is he? Make the most of puppy cuteness 😍

Well ladies, can't believe it's just taken me over 3 hours to do food shopping & get back home having left at 8.45 to meet my friend for dog walking..,

Bloody DH's birthday on Monday & he wanted his favourite brandy & I went to 4 shops before somewhere had it. 4 f ing shops & im meant to be staying at home!! Half my childless day is gone!!

Anyway...about to catch up over scrambled eggs & avacado bagel for lunch ....

@Drinksometeawithme ok that seems pretty conclusive then! Well im baffled with you. Unless (and i hate to be negative so forgive me for saying this) they are indent lines? Seems less likely wit 2 different tests but maybe? I had an indent on the first frer i used and it really got my hopes up, spent half the day squinting at it. I eventually opened up the test and there wasn't a hint of pink to be seen 😥

@Clairey844 oh god yeah I forgot you said about leaving the pee out...knowing me I would be the one that forgets what it is & half asleep in the morning accidentally drink it with my morning tablets 🤦🏼‍♀️not sure id like to leave my pee lying around (@Kirky658 /@Franklydear you could do it instead of testing?!) why would a short LP make a difference...surely if you get pregnant from that ovulation it doesn't matter? What am I missing?

@Drinksometeawithme hello! Welcome and sorry to hear you've had a rough ride so far on TTC with your new partner, sounds shit. 5dpo today and tested yesterday at 4dpo and got a line? Wow, that's some early testing! I've not heard of ppl getting positives that soon or maybe you ovulated earlier? I'm not sure I could do it to myself to test that early for fear of seeing another chemical tbh, how far did you get on with those? I guess keep testing every couple of days and we all hope🤞🏻it's a sticky one. Is it the cramps that are making you worried it's ectopic?

What are we closing as old btw?! In fertility terms I'm also geriatric

@Katao believe me I have gone around the houses and thought the same thing, as well as everything else I could think about 🙈 I guess they could be, but I think it would be a huge coincidence and they both came up within the time. I am truly baffled too 🙈

@Minster2012 a short LP is shit coz if I ovulate on CD20 (I'm CD18 today) then I'll get my AF at 8DPO & you don't normally implant until about 9DPO so it would get flushed out by AF, make sense? I'm so shit at explaining things🤣

Oh and back to the peppermint tea. I'm not sure if they still make it but twinings used to make one called buttermint. That's amazing. Tastes like those Minto sweets.

As for the testing pee for pregnancy thing. The testing isn't where it falls down for me. 🤣 So it's irrelevant what might work. Fizzing pee or not!

@Minster2012 I suppose a tortoise couldn't outrun a hare. They are pretty quick! But for what they are, they aren't slow either. They whiz off when you aren't looking. 🤣 Mine don't mind a tickle. One likes it more than the other. But they don't have the option to follow me round, so to speak. Dog would likely eat them! 😲

@Chlo2701 but if you ovulate late then won't you just be in for a longer cycle? You LP should stay the same. My cycles are irregular but my LP is consistently 11/12 days

@Katao that's what I thought, & that's what normally happens to women, but that doesn't happen to me for some reason. I normally have a 10/11 day LP, but last month I ovulated a day or 2 later than what I normally do (confirmed by CB digital) & my LP was 9 days 😫 so it's not looking good if my LP has now changed to under 10days😣

@minster2012 Winston is a pomeranian miniature schnauzer cross so a bit unusual! Not testing tomorrow as AF is in full flow (no pun intended). I am no longer committing to testing dates as I tend to jinx myself 😂
Also reg the short LP- can't remember who's post it was, sorry. Basically if it's shorter than 14 days the theory is that the lining doesn't build up as much as its not as much time if less than 14 days, as it should do to sustain the embryo hence it being a bit more difficult to get pregnant with a short LP. (science teacher hubby)
