@Franklydear I know this sounds mad but also a cup of slightly cooled (so you can drink it) boiled water just as it is, is fab to.

@MimiRa @lucyrp I think pcos can be hard to diagnose as there isn't a test as such. But the thyroid shouldn't have been missed. I've just had bloods and told ok but I've not got the results and neither am I allowed them. I need to fill in some form and request. Which I shall do.......
But good January isn't too far @lucyrp

@Newbie0818 I just take whatever I want to be honest. I don't think drugs have any impact until there's really anything properly there. I try to avoid anything unless I need it but I don't sit suffering if I do! Miserable few years otherwise.

@Franklydear peppermint tea isn't too bad and definitely helps. I find when you get used to it, its bearable. Think anything added would just make it taste worse. You can buy peppermint capsules though from boots? They are in the ibs section and say ibs relief on them. I also find chamomile tea helps. I often use both. But if buying that- get the chamomile and honey twinings one! That's actually pleasant and has vanilla hints. I literally cannot drink any other herbal or fruit teas. But I can stomach those.

@XPeach123 I sometimes get really hot in my LP. But it can also be a sign!

@franklydear yes deffo add some sugar or honey makes it taste less like a mug of toothpaste. Which sounds OK but believe me it isn't. I have the same relationship with green tea.

@ahobbyaweek yeah deffo it's difficult treading that line between making sure you get plenty of bd'ing done but not wearing him out!! Lol DH was dead chuffed last month when I suggested sex every day but by mid week we had to have a break we were both knackered xx

@lucyrp absolutely fertility issues are tough whether it's your first or fifth! It's hard as well when you already have one and you are thinking about how different age gaps will work or effect them. Or longing to give them a sibling. Why do people make everything a competition or comparison?

@paintfairy I never as peppermint tea, but I have chamomile and quite like it, I’ll have that instead of coffee for a few days, once I stop the tablets it’ll be back to normal

@paintfairy I had my bloods back a while ago and Was talked through them but didn't pay much attention to the numbers so I rang back a week or so ago to take note of them. TSH is fine at 1.6 but LH was slightly elevated but not by much 😬

@Katao that's where I'm at. DS is 5 and will be 6 in April so the gap is already 4 years more than I was hoping 😩 omg your dream! I dreamt about a million cats in my house but couldn't find my cat 🤣😂

@Newbie0818 I read somewhere that antiflammatories can impact implantation so it depends where you are in your cycle if old medicine is safe. or best to stick to paracetamol.

So my previous rants about LH surge and later ovulation....I take it all back. My LH this morning has surged even higher after a dip from yesterday. My chart looks like an ever climbing mountain range. Not a clue. Just need to keep at the sex, but no idea when to expect AF now 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was furious last night because my OH decided to get on the beers which meant he couldn't actually cum despite me working VERY hard for it 😩 had to wait till 5am for it in the end. F#%* sake!

@Juno231 I was more a lurker & infrequent poster cos that was first IVF time & I more stayed on the ivf thread but I HAD TO FIND OUT IF BIRD POO WORKED 😂 & yeah loads were like "oh I might not try this cycle cos it's bad timing for birth" oh how I laughed and then in March it got a bit weird with mrsemily & her macros & everyone was like "oh you shouldn't eat that, shouldn't drink that" though I know she since said (& Is pregnant) that she couldn't believe she cared about all that as it didn't matter. I think that's why we all stick together cos we don't care if ppl drink or not, and we all try to be so supportive & chat other shit it makes the whole TTC journey so much better. It was VERY TTC orientated til we took over with the bullets 😂🤣

@Minster2012 yep, that’s the plan, I don’t feel af coming but I don’t feel pregnant either but at cd 29 of my usual 26, it’s starting to look good, softy tummy too, when normally is bloated and tight when af is calling...
