Morning ladies, fermometer kindly telling me today is my predicted ovulation day which is defo not happening, there's no way I would snap back to a 30 day cycle after having a 59 day one so wishful thinking from the app I think. May have to order some fermometer OPKs just for the cupboard incase, although my temp did drop today and my rhr shot up who knows 😂

@Minster2012 I'd completely forgotten about the woman who smoked the bird poo 😂😂😂 wasn't it her MIL who suggested she do it?!

Well, no more food soreness, boobs a bit uncomfy, but that could be the respiratory problems, no tummy ache this morning so normal madness should resume

Fooff soreness, my food is quite alright, I'll celebrate with toast with butter and jam for breakfast

Ladies, is it ok to take standard cold and flu tablets when ttc?
I normally just take paracetamol but I need the decongestion help, and can't get to a shop to get nose spray 😖

@Vil10 I so hope you get your bfp in Xmas day ❤️ my advice would be to take a FRER the day before as I tested on Xmas day last year and got a bfn and was honestly so upset. That was before I knew what to expect though as that was my first ever test! I really hope it's a lucky day for you! 🎅🏼

@Juno231 that is UTTERLY ridiculous! Can they not push for it to be earlier? Or could you afford £500 to do tests privately and then leave the expensive stuff to the nhs? I may do that if the wait is too long.

Old wives tricks, there's so many... but one that sticks is a girl who was on a bus with use months ago called Adrianoska said her MIL got her to walk around in bird poo that was smoking or something as that was a cultural pregnancy thing, and she did get pregnant! So get on that pidgeon poop 🤣

If I ovulated when I thought I did o cd 17/18 I would be around testing time. If not, then 8dpo.

What do people think the two dips in temp are in my chart post ov?

Ibs peeps, but if advice please? I know it’s different but when you have the multiple poos a day with wind, is there anything that helps, like tea, or no fruit, or just carbs, ... it’s not unbearable just uncomfortable

@Franklydear @KateColx @minster2012 that was adrianoska! I'd been with her since Feb bus and on another thread as well so got a loooot of the bird poo stories lol. She disappeared as soon as she got pregnant, she's not been active on MN since!

@Newbie0818 thing is what would the next steps be test wise? I've had all the initial bits done, all I'm missing is an HSG. The assessment is an infertility assessment so I think they'll basically look at all my tests so far, have me do an hsg and then confirm whether or not I need IUI /IVF I guess? Btw temp wise I'd agree with FF's ovulation date. Your dips don't look odd to me, will just be hormonal fluctuations I guess?

@lucyrp ah that's much better than I thought, I thought your referral was in August for some reason.

@lucyrp and @paintfairy the NHS missed the PCOS as this was never mentioning in any test I did and maybe my thyroid was borderline when it was tested in the NHS I am not sure, but my first test privately showed my TSH was too high. Its good I am aware of both issues now but would have been good to know before, I may have tried different things back then.

Good luck with the last embryo @Minster2012 sounds like you have had a tough journey.

@franklydear try some peppermint tea, tastes like ass but usually works!

@Franklydear although he is well aware we are TTC I haven't really involved him in ovulation dates and LH testing etc. I was already using temping with natural cycles for a little while so he understands I know about windows and bits.
After my HC came out my sex drive has come back so much he is just happy to jump on. But I get what you mean and won't be too demanding I hope.

@AHobbyaweek mine was the same for about 8 months, and then things got on top of him, he just asked yesterday when my period is due, errr, the day before yesterday 😳🤣

Haha 😂 I'll try and not overwhelm him. Someone did mention to me it was better to have sex every other day. I'm just worried about missing the opportunity.

@Newbie0818 I get it quite a lot. Even my best friend has said it to me. I get it, I've already had a child but also I haven't had any children with my OH someone who I'm in love with. DS father and I were never even an item which makes it even worse 🥺

@Franklydear I second @Kirky658 peppermint tea is super helpful. If you've got any gaviscon that should help with the gas. Also I find a hot water bottle helps to ease stomach pain too. Erm try to go easy on fruit, it's hard to digest and can make things more uncomfortable. If it's really bad, you may wanna try eating smaller meals more regularly.

@Juno231 oh sorry I didn't realise they'd already done all that. Hmm. Maybe worth ringing around but if you can try and pester them a bit?
Thanks for advice re chart :) maybe I just had all the symptoms and then the egg took a little longer to actually come out.

@minster2012 apparently prolactin is a hormone produced in the pituitary gland if its high can prevent
FSH hormone to release an egg - so good old Google tells me.
