I definitely have been more tired, lower back pain around 6-7dpo

Rose2108 · 17/11/2020 10:48

@Theawkwardblonde Oh I am so sorry to hear this, how stressful for you. To try and look at the positives, at least you now know what is stopping you guys from your positive result and will get some help now? I know lots of happy outcomes from treatment of PCOS and other conditions. I really hope this will lead to some more support. I know it must feel really bleak at the moment and so unfair but you are not alone.

I do worry whether I am or not because I never get a peak on the ovulation sticks! But other than that I have no reason to think I am not. I checked the BMI scale and I am a few points overweight so that has given me something to focus on, try and lose some pounds! Easier said than done when I am stuck at home all day.

Hi @Bethy1995, It's hard because those symptoms can be the same as AF! I am not sure on cervix as not monitored this before. Keeping everything crossed for you it's a BFP, they do sound like all the right signs! The waiting game is the worst isn't it!

Ah Congrats @popcorndiva! What lovely news and thanks for the tips on what you have been doing this cycle. If you don't mind me asking, how many times did you DTD before ovulation? Just not sure if we are doing it enough or on the right days of the cycle.

@Lovebug06 Let us know is AF comes, you never know. I am now in the TWW so just trying to keep busy as nothing we can do now.

@AKcheer Oh no I just started pregnacare this month, have been using 7 seas previously with no issues. My friend just gave me these because she fell pregnant and wasn't going to be using them! Oh great here I go with another delayed AF! Lol. Hope you are doing okay and AF isn't too horrific

Theawkwardblonde · 17/11/2020 10:58

The thing us, I've definitely had chemicals in the past. I've actually started taking seven seas conception about 6 weeks ago and wondering if this has delayed ovulation (read reviews that it can).
That's the only thing different, and this month (first time ever) my period has been significantly shifted which would support not ovulating this month. It's definitely different to my normal bleed. Could it be the seven seas bedding my cycle?

popcorndiva · 17/11/2020 10:59

@Rose2108 we dtd 6 times up to ovulation on 7,9,11,13 14 and 16 . I then ovulated 17dpo.
The first three times we were on holiday in the cotswolds so that helped giving us some time once DS was in bed

Pinksworthy90 · 17/11/2020 15:29

Hi All,

I hope you don't mind me joining. We have been trying since Jan this year. Fell pg in March but that sadly ended up being a MMC at 9-10 weeks. Since then I have been feeling like its never gonna happen again. I wasn't too conscious about my diet and supplements earlier, but now I'm feeling like there must be something lacking in me, hence I have ordered CoQ10 and Vit B6. Apparently also because I start spotting from 11-12 dpo onwards, which would make my Luteal Phase shorter and I have heard these might help.

I was really hoping November would be my month, but AF arrived yesterday and feeling quite low since. It became more depressing when DH expressed his disappointment too, which he usually doesn't. He will actually be the one to console me every time when AF arrives. Feeling lost to be honest and trying to find ways to keep myself positive.

Lovebug06 · 17/11/2020 21:06

@Bethy1995 symptoms are hard as AF and pregnancy are the same symptoms. I seme to get different every month so never have a clue. Hope its your month!
@popcorndiva congrats lovely.
@rose2108 I'm pretty sure it will be here by morning Sad. Bad cramps worse than normal and feel a bit sick too. Dreading every time I go the toilet now.
@Pinksworthy90
Sorry to hear about your mmc.
I also started around that time and no hint of a BFP in anyway. Feeling down and AF about to start too. I'm usually consoled by dh too. I feel like it's never gonna happen sometimes but then a new month I try to be positive that it's a new hope again.

Bethy1995 · 17/11/2020 21:48

@Rose2108 I know it's so difficult, I'm trying so hard not to get obsessed with symptom spotting and as
@Lovebug06 says the symptoms are so similar to AF, although I don't usually get many symptoms with AF, usually lower back cramps rather than stomach cramps

Wishing everyone luck x

AKcheer · 18/11/2020 08:52

Morning guys how we all doing? Last day of AF for me wooo! Celebrated with an early morning stroll!

Hey @Bethy1995 how long you been trying for? It sounds good but it’s so similar to AF isn’t it so sometimes we have to try not to read into these things! I think because we’re symptom spotting we notice everything so much more. I’ve never been pregnant but it sounds like tiredness etc is very common! Good you’re relaxing DTD and just keep yourself relaxed in the wait too! I know it’s hard xx

@Rose2108 I’ve never tried 7 seas but heard they are good!! Oh lucky friend!! Hopefully pregnacare will be ok with you and help! Yes all good, last day of AF today!! Wooo!!

@Theawkwardblonde have you had a look if anyone got the same issues with 7 seas? I deffo did with pregnacare xx

Hey @Pinksworthy90 and welcome!! I’m so sorry to hear about your MMC. I can’t imagine how hard it would have been. Are you taking folic acid? How did you decide coq 10 was the best supplement to take? I have read about this I don’t know whether to start taking it though too.

It’s hard going through it every month isn’t it. I think when any girl sees the AF arrive we’re all so disappointed but we have to stay positive. I know, be sad and vent but then think right it’s a new cycle and we start again. Have to stay positive and not stress too much and we have to just ride the wave. I think our hubby’s always get disappointed and because they r men they don’t always show it and the second they do we also get a bit panicked and more sad but we have to stay positive. It will happen. How long is your AF usually? Hopefully a few days and you can start again. I just came off mine well it’s the last day so boom let’s do this 😂🙏🏽

@popcorndiva how are you doing!? And how are you feeling!? Thought I’d just check in :)

OP posts:
popcorndiva · 18/11/2020 09:47

I am good. Period was due today so decided to test again as has not done since Monday. Last night had really sore nipples and seemed to be farting more which is lovely. Test at the bottom is today

Anyone been trying for 5 months plus and want to chat?
Pinksworthy90 · 18/11/2020 14:13

@Lovebug06 You are right, we just have to keep going in hope that we will see our beautiful babies one day.

@AKcheer Thank you for understanding. It feels good to have someone listen to you. I have been taking folic acid. My last MC was the one where there was an empty sac and the baby didn't develop at all. So I thought that must be down to the egg quality. DH's SA is fine. I have heard Co-Q10 has helped lot of women (especially the ones to undergo IVF) increase their quality of eggs. I'm going to turn 31 soon and since the quality of eggs decrease after 30, I have decided to give it a shot. And the Vit B6 to help with my pre-AF spotting. Soon, I might end up getting other vitamins as well I guess, LOL

You are so right, the moment we see our partners being low, we feel bad too as we tend to think we are letting them down. But we have to understand that men are human as well and they have emotions too.

My AF nowadays is only 2 days of heavy flow and 1 day being light, so I'm almost coming to the end of it for this cycle. Hurray !! Fingers crossed the next cycle turns out to be a lucky one for us.

AKcheer · 19/11/2020 14:35

Ahh @popcorndiva your bfps look fab!!!

Oh no @Theawkwardblonde I’m sorry to hear that news. But...at least docs have figured it out and they will now know what to do going forward. It’s upsetting knowing this but please stay positive, more tests mean they will get to the source of the problem and help with this. Did you think you weren’t ovulating every month? Did you used to get any surges on OPKs or did that give you an indication?

OP posts:
Theawkwardblonde · 19/11/2020 14:44

@AKcheer I must have ovulated at some stages in the last year as had BFPs. I always get a peak On opks and a temp rise too. Had this every month. Only thing a bit different was this months as I had a peak on opks for 3 days, which has never happened.
I'm awaiting more results, so going to ask if the seven seas vitamins I started taking could have affected me, as I've read a few reviews which say they can. I'm always regular with a 28 day cycle, apart from when I've been late (due to getting a BFP then losing it sadly). All very confusing and frustrating!

DuzzyFuck · 19/11/2020 17:07

Oooh @popcorndiva how exciting!

Hope you're all ok ladies? AF is due for me this weekend, I've been spotting a bit as usual so guess it's on its way but stopped off on the way home to get 2 pregnancy tests and 2 bottles of wine so all bases are covered BlushGrin

Jamill87 · 19/11/2020 19:36

Does anyone else get ovulation sickness? I am on CD13 and have had sickness for last 3/4 days, also had an upset stomach and severe cramps on right side today! Sometimes get cramps at ovulation but not normally this bad. Done some OPKs last few days as not positives yet so not sure if I even am ovulating.

JLP256 · 19/11/2020 22:04

Hey @Jamill87 I get cramps on and off as well as headaches and sometimes sickness quite a lot around ovulation. It’s usually a good sign I’m nearing the fertile window but varies quite a lot. Hope you’re ok!

Congratulations @popcorndiva very exciting :)

Kirby173 · 20/11/2020 08:23

Morning ladies 🥰

Sorry I haven’t been on in a while but I’m just catching up!

@JLP256 honestly isn’t it weird how you need to sometimes see that BFN to get your cycle started?! So cruel of our bodies to do this! I am using pregnacare and my husband is taking the conception ones too for him but haven’t found it’s messed with my cycle. I did find it made my wee bright yellow though haha! Husband said the same 😂 I’ve heard good things about the seven seas ones too though!

@popcorndiva massive congratulations on your BFP!!! Amazing news! Was it just sore nipples that tipped you off?

@AKcheer just seen your update about AF arriving. As you say at least it’s another chance to start this journey again! How are you feeling today?

@Theawkwardblonde sorry to hear about your news but as @Rose2108 said, you have a diagnosis on what may be causing issues for you TTC so at least this can be looked int and you can get the help and advice you need!

@Pinksworthy90 hi! Wow I feel you. My husband also expressed disappointment this month and it’s hard isn’t it? You feel like you are letting them down. We will get through this together though I joined this thread because I just felt so alone but please believe me when I say you aren’t. These ladies are lovely and all totally understand what you are going through.

How is everyone else getting on?! I hope you are all okay. AF ended for me 4 days ago and ovulation is predicted for 26 November so hoping this month is our month! (Like I do every month) hahaha!

Where is everyone else at stage wise now? Xx

Jamill87 · 20/11/2020 08:38

Morning!

Massive congrats popcorn!! Such a strong bfp!

So my severe cramping has died down a bit today and thought I'd do a cheapie strip test! Think I am going mad as think I can see something, no colour but looks like a clear line, almost indent on the test if that makes sense. I am only CD 13/14 though so think I am just going a bit mad!

Hope you're ok Kirkby173

popcorndiva · 20/11/2020 08:41

@Kirby173 my last pregnancy i couldn't go into a supermarket without getting too hot and breathless. I went shopping on Monday morning with my DS and was literally sweating in there. So thought it was strange and thought better test not expecting it to be positive

AKcheer · 20/11/2020 09:14

@Theawkwardblonde keep us updated with your further tests. Hopefully everything is ok! Yeah I’ve heard that about some of the multivitamins for pregnancy or conception should I say. They can really mess with cycles. They did with mine so I just take boots folic acid with vitamin d and vitamin c. The rest I think I get through my food!

Hey @Kirby173 all good here thanks how are you!! So my AF ended couple days ago so started DTD yesterday woo! Fingers crossed we make it this time lol. Glow says my ovulation is around 26th too! Ovo twins haha! How are you feeling?

@DuzzyFuck when are you planning on testing!!

Wooo it’s the weekend guys!!

OP posts:
DuzzyFuck · 20/11/2020 10:33

@AKcheer I've trained myself very well and usually wait for AF so won't test unless she doesn't show. I just got some so they're in the house. I find it's even more disappointing to see the BFNs than just to come on.

Lene88 · 20/11/2020 12:57

Nearly a year now. Quite disheartening and obviously starting to wonder/worry that something may be wrong 😕

Pinksworthy90 · 20/11/2020 13:52

@Kirby173 Definitely these threads are keeping me sane ! Ovulation not too far for you 🤞

I have finished my AF yesterday and gotta start DTD. Ovulation predicted around Dec 2nd -3rd. AF due Dec 15th. Would be exciting to get a BFP before the Christmas week Smile

@DuzzyFuck I'm the same as you. Not gonna pull out my pregnancy tests until AF arrives. Prevents so much of disappointments.

@Lene88 We will be hitting a year mark soon in January. You are not alone. It's perfectly normal for a healthy couple to take a year to conceive.

Kirby173 · 20/11/2020 14:09

Hi @Jamill87 yeah all good thanks! Hope you are too! Can you upload a pic of the test to show us? I found I could see a line with First Response but then it would fade so if your line hasn’t faded maybe it isn’t an indentation line? Everything crossed for you though!

@Pinksworthy90 ooh!!! Yeah I agree a BFP would be perfect before Christmas! Keep me posted on how you are getting on but good luck!

@AKcheer hi you! Ooh ovulation twins 🥰 I’m feeling good this month glad AF is over and I can start to try again but I don’t want to keep thinking “right this is the month” because I’ve done that every single month so far!!! I hate wishing time away but when AF arrives I’m like right get this week out of the way and then I wish away the time until ovulation and then I wish away the 2ww 😂 basically wished away this whole year but I think people who aren’t TTC have with this awful virus!

@DuzzyFuck I wish I had your willpower but I always test too early and just end up disappointed! Need to really learn to not test early 😂

@Lene88 just to echo what Pinksworthy said the stats are worth looking at but appreciate its hard accepting them really. Do you think you will go to the doctor soon or just keep trying? Also are you using OPKs or anything?

Hope everyone gets BFPs soon! Xxx

Jamill87 · 20/11/2020 14:22

The more I look at the pic of the test, the more I know it is in my head :-( I will try to upload but can't see anything on the pic, it just looks like where the light has caught it, probably an indentation line. It would be lovely to get bfp before christmas, I had a psychic reading in may and a baby was mentioned and said I would be telling people at the end of the year, probably rubbish but think somewhere in my mind it is going to be true!
