Hey girls, who'd have thought we would need another thread!

We welcome other long standers as we have all been ttc for quite while! (All of us about 18 months +)

With the greatest respect, if you are new to ttc, this isn't the thread for you as we are all angry and hormonal 😂😂

Morning :D

I am on antibiotics this week so I am feeling nausous and whilst it sucks, it does mean I won't be symptom spotting at all this month as anything could be from the antibiotics! So a peaceful tww for me :p

@Grumpsy I am 5dpo :D you?

@PrettyTulip such an awful time for you and the family! Yes definitley puts it into perspective doesnt it :) but remember not to put yourself last, you deserve medical care too even if it is stressful time for everyone. A little pregnancy announcement would be a light in all this darkness for you xx

@Annny27 I’m 4dpo at the minute. Trying not to symptom spot (I know it’s too early for any symptoms to just can’t help myself 🙈)

OH goes for his repeat analysis next week so here’s to hoping that his quality has improved... (May mean we can try iui instead)

Annny27 · 07/12/2020 11:40

Good luck for your OHs analysis! @grumpsy

Yeah I am 8dpo now and nothing to report haha! You?

Mine had his first one in September but no sign of another one anytime soon

OP posts:
Grumpsy · 07/12/2020 12:02

@Annny27 he goes Friday so fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Currently 7dpo with one sore boob, and backache, but I’m fairly sure I’ve had these symptoms before for them to lead to nothing 🙈

Grumpsy · 07/12/2020 12:04

@Annny27 I’m surprised your OH hasn’t been asked back if his morphology was low (am I remembering that right)

Annny27 · 07/12/2020 12:12

@Grumpsy yeah I often have sore boobs in tww but I also did when I was pregnant so there's no telling haha!

Yeah he has 2% morphology - we have a fertility appointment in February so potentially will be done then? But the doctors nor the fertility nurse seemed concerned which is so strange to me!

OP posts:
Grumpsy · 07/12/2020 12:16

@Annny27 were the rest of his numbers high? If so then maybe the volume means that there should be enough of the right quality. To be fair you need to wait 3 months to retest to give enough time for a cycle of regeneration.

Annny27 · 09/12/2020 09:34

@grumpsy his motility was above average but not amazing - it was 50% active motility e.g. fast and slow progressing. And then count was something like 59mil per ejaculated but 13mil/ml so slightly lower for the per ml measurement.

How about yours?

Annny27 · 11/12/2020 08:34

12dpo, period due over weekend or Monday

@gems7 how was the procedure? Hope it well well lovely xx

@Missgoldilocks and how is pregnancy treating you?

OP posts:
Missgoldilocks · 11/12/2020 19:34

@anny27 hey lovely how are you? I'm okay, just feel tired and sick every day. For a few days all I could eat is mash potato and ketchup and it tasted like the best meal ever errr haha I hate ketchup 😂😂 wtf. Looking forward to the early scan! Going for it next Sunday 😬 so not long now xx

@Gems7 hope you're doing okay babe xx

dogmam · 12/12/2020 22:56

Hi girls, how is everyone? Haven't posted for a while as took a little time out. I'm struggling with not having anyone to talk to in real life as we haven't told anyone we were ttc. I don't really know how to tell anyone and feel like once its out then I can't take it back and stop potential questions etc if you know what I mean. Not sure what to do.

AF due tomorrow, tested on ICs the last few days but all bfn.
Consultation with fertility clinic on the 5th Jan so looking forward to that, although it's just a telephone one, but step in the right direction I suppose.

Hope everyone's ok.

PrettyTulip · 13/12/2020 08:01

@dogmam I get how you're feeling. We will have been ttc for 2yrs in January and haven't told a soul... you've got the support from everyone on this chat tho which does help a lot 😊

@Annny27 - sorry crossed threads with the last post.

@Annny27 his total motility was about 15% with only about 9% being progressive. He did have another analysis on Friday so fingers crossed for the results. All other parameters were on the low side of normal.

Annny27 · 14/12/2020 16:23

Hi girls :) 15dpo and bfn for me so thats me out 😭

Onto month 19....dont even know at this stage!

@Grumpsy hopefully they have improved! How long will it take for results? Mine took like 2 weeks nearly 3!

@prettytulip I wish we hadn't told anyone but with my miscarriage I sort have had to so no loads of people know

@dogmam any sign of AF? Hopefully not! Our next fertility appointment is February and I hope they refer us for treatment and not say just keep trying 😭

@Missgoldilocks ahh not long untill your scan!! Can find out if there's one or two in there :p

@gems7 sending love 💗💗💗

Grumpsy · 14/12/2020 16:25

@Annny27 they said January which I don’t get to be honest. They need to test out within the hour 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

I’ve got my next fertility appointment tomorrow so I’m wishfully hoping that they will have them then (I know I’m dreaming there 🙈)

Annny27 · 14/12/2020 16:27

@grumpsy I know what you mean, they test them straight after and obvs have to input the results as they are doing it haha. How hard would it be just to send it off then haha

OP posts:
dogmam · 15/12/2020 10:39

Hi ladies

Still no AF but also about 6 negative tests so think it must just be a long cycle, I'm usually 28/29 days but I'm on day 31 and no sign.. odd.

@grumpsy good luck for your appointment today and hopefully you get the SA results.. it is strange that they take so long to come back isn't it when like you say, they get tested straight away.

@annny27 sorry about the bfn. I have kind of felt it's extra gutting this month as obvs a Christmas bfp is the dream! Yeah hope the clinic just makes a start with a plan rather than sending you on your way.

@prettytulip how are you doing? Ah it's such a tricky one in isn't it with deciding to tell people or not.

Just stocked up on wellman conception as they were buy one get one half price in H&B so hopefully the clinic will want a second SA in Jan and there will be an improvement by then.

Grumpsy · 15/12/2020 12:37

@dogmam my appointment was cancelled without them notifying me. Needless to say I’m rather miffed. Aside from the fertility stuff, it’s just I’ve had a fair amount of abnormal bleeding so want to make sure it’s not something more sinister.

Annny27 · 20/12/2020 12:48

Sorry been so busy!

@dogmam did AF arrive?? Hopefully not

@Grumpsy ahh thats gutting is it being rescheduled?

@Missgoldilocks hope your scan went well today!! Let us know :D

I am cd7 so should probably start dtd again haha. Got plenty of time over the Christmas break atleasy :p

@Missgoldilocks how did the scan go?? 😁

Missgoldilocks · 21/12/2020 09:38

@Laur89 @anny27 morning ladies, thanks for checking up on me the scan went well!! Saw a strong heartbeat tiny little bean 🥰 my partner and my son were so amazed it was really lovely to see their faces and now my son is actually excited instead of being jealous lol. I'll be 9 weeks on Wednesday 🙏 how are you two getting on?

@Gems7 I hope you're okay haven't heard from you in a while ❤️❤️❤️ sending you love xxxx

Annny27 · 24/12/2020 09:41

Glad it went well @Missgoldilocks 🥰🥰🥰🥰

You can tell all your family now the amazing news:)

@Annny27 apparently so, but no one can give me a date of when or how long it’s likely to be before it is. I’m starting to think that I need to buy private medical insurance (for any potential future health issues - I know none of this would be covered) and find a gynae privately for this..

Annny27 · 01/01/2021 16:47

@Grumpsy yes nhs can be quite slow for fertility stuff! My husband has his next SA in January and then we have an appointment in feb. It would be nice not to need them 🤞🤞

Ovulattimg today or tomorrow i think - had lots of ewcm the past 2 days
