Hey girls, who'd have thought we would need another thread!

We welcome other long standers as we have all been ttc for quite while! (All of us about 18 months +)

@Annny27 same haha, what are we like! they told me to stop at 12 weeks but I'm doing every other day for a couple of weeks then every few days and then I'll stop. Better to be safe than sorry, there's no harm in using them for a little bit longer is there xx

@PrettyTulip 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sorry I'm laughing because Lorenzo was the same lol he did not stop but I was so ready for it. I couldn't imagine having him at like 19 when I had my first son lol my first son didn't really cry and he slept in the car etc Lorenzo was like a mini crying machine lmao he hated the car haha and always wanted to be held especially when vaccinated its amazing how different they can be! Enjoy it goes very fast xxx

@Annny27 yeah I knew something was wrong but I just didn't know what I was looking for ! They should look for these things straight away especially if the baby isn't latching. They told me maybe he just needed more time to learn to latch, I looked at the midwife loke she had two heads. What an idiot, an clearly there was an issue.

@gemms7 it's been a long road but I'm glad we've all got the outcome we so desperately desired ❤️ patience was key!

@Missgoldilocks haha, she's normally quite good - it's just the minute I decide to do something such as have a shower, have a wee, have some dinner - that's when she decides she wants to not leave me alone! And then yeah, immunisations have just thrown everything out the window, literally sat on the sofa for 2 days cuddling her as it's the only thing that settles her lol

@PrettyTulip sending strength mumma ♥️ hopefully she is less clingy once her vaccine groggyness wears off!

@gemms7 it's so hard to just stop I think because in my mind it was the only thing helping the pregnancy! But other people stop cold Turkey no issues

@Missgoldilocks yeah I dont know how you are supposed to just "know" how the baby is supposed to latch etc! How I'd your sister getting on with her ttc journey? And did you decide to try for anymore? 🥰

@Annny27 my sister is still trying unfortunately. Five failed ivf rounds and no real chance of her own children. She has something called fragile x syndrome (carrier) so her kids have a high chance of being born with difficulties. That wouldn't be so bad if she could actually get some eggs because they could pick the one that didn't have the gene, however, because of the fragile x syndrome it has caused her eggs to fail prematurely. She is doing the donor egg route, she has done one already and it failed. I'm going to meet her in Prague in couple of weeks where she will try again... fingers crossed it works for her 🙏
Yes I would like another one just one more but I don't really know when that will happen I'm still trying to lose my baby weight I've lost 3 stone of it lol 😅 but yeah :). Have you got any names? Xx

@Missgoldilocks That's so tough for her ♥️ hopefully it works for her and good that she Is able to use donor eggs!

No point losing all the weight untill you are absolutely done ttc I think haha! I have put on 30 lbs so far and I am like wow what am I going to be like after - quite intrigued really!

And yes we have a girl and a boy name :D when they are born I will PM you all the names and details etc 🥰🥰

Hello :) our little boy was born by csection after a long induction on saturday.
He was very poorly immediatley after birth and was immediately transfered to a specialist hospital 1.5 hours away - he is in the NICU and is intubated with machines breathing for him but he is stable at the moment and making small progresses 💙💙

We are so in love with him he is just adorable 💙💙💙

@Annny27 oh my goodness, huge congratulations sweetheart!!!! What an experience you have been through.
You're finally a mummy and I am so so happy for you. I hope the little one is going to be okay.. my son was in NICU for a few weeks when he was first born, feels like years ago now, the staff were amazing.
Are you getting to stay there with him?

Yep its definitely been a journey haha! Everything about ttc and pregnany has been a journey.....hoping for baby#2 its a pregnant first cycle sort of journey 👀🤣
