Hey girls, who'd have thought we would need another thread!

We welcome other long standers as we have all been ttc for quite while! (All of us about 18 months +)

With the greatest respect, if you are new to ttc, this isn't the thread for you as we are all angry and hormonal 😂😂

@anny27 I'm trying to persuade my OH to get one the week before Christmas I'll be 9 weeks then and at least we will be able to see everything is okay. I'm sure he will lol. Symptoms, I keep waking up in the night to go toilet, my boobs are fine just super veiny and my belly hurts but not crampy just like full and I'm constipated. But when I was around 10-13dpo I thought it was because my period was coming but obvi not I was sooooo windy like I was in so much pain with wind! Also diarrhoea! Weird haha but constipated now. Good luck for this cycle xx

dogmam · 22/11/2020 14:53

@missgoldilocks huge congratulations I bet you are on cloud 9!! Did you do anything different this month that might have helped things along? Best early Christmas present ever!

I got a letter through the post yesterday, it was an e-referral for the fertility clinic so I logged in and there's 5 clinics to choose from, all with similar waiting times so not sure which to choose from. Any advice?

Missgoldilocks · 22/11/2020 15:37

@dogmam thank you! We are and still in shock I just couldn't believe it when those two lines come up I just about cried. This month I just did not care about trying I'm sorry I know that's probably not the best to hear but we actually dtd on the Saturday and I either ovulated Tuesday or Wednesday. We also did self insemination Monday and Tuesday because we are at our wits end of having baby sex. But I had ewcm on Saturday and that was it! I stopped taking vitamins and everything I just lost all hope! So maybe it really was the pressure I was putting myself under who knows.
In regards to clinics I'd look up reviews on them and see who has the best ones and look up the head of the department etc xx

Grumpsy · 22/11/2020 19:47

@Annny27 yep AF only lasted 3 days, usually ages 4-5. I’m assuming it’s from all the mid cycle spotting / bleeding

Gems7 · 23/11/2020 08:08

@Annny27 I presumed not.. but nobody has told me anything, I've just had appointment letters through the post.. 😕
My apt is 2 days after ovulation.. so wouldn't technically be pregnant then anyway but I'm still thinking maybe it's not a good idea to try? I'm confused. Xx

Annny27 · 23/11/2020 10:49

Morning :D I am cd11 today had a little bit of watery/ ewcm so I think fertile week has started. I am not doing LH tests this month- I am trying to be less obsessed haha 🤣

@missgoldilocks scan before Christmas sounds good and at 8/9 weeks you should be able to see a fair bit :D

That's interesting about the self insemination! Tmi but when we had sex on Friday I bled a bit after (there was a small cut near the entrance) and then it hurt last night as well so I think maybe I need a few days off from dtd for the little nick to heal but as I am in fertile week I dont want to miss out so maybe the self insemination will be ideal for this scenario.

@Gems7 yeah I would also assume you should have to not ttc but might be worth asking the nurse or doctor to ask as tou don't want to miss a month if you don't need to!

@dogmam mmm I didnt have a choice it was just our local hospital. Maybe look at the reviews and see which one is best!

@Grumpsy ahh thats interesting having a lighter AF! Yeah might be some.of the.blood already came out in the spotting

How are you girls doing? Quiet on here i guess we are all approaching fertile week haha! I am in fertile week now, had some ewcm

dogmam · 25/11/2020 14:20

Hi @annny27 I am also in my fertile week, trying SMEP this month, currently on CD11!
How is the not using OPK going?! I would like not to use them but it's addictive isn't it!
I still haven't chosen a fertility clinic after my GP referred us, I keep logging on to nhs referrals but then don't end up booking an appointment, I feel like it's such a big decision as whatever we choose now, we could be with them for all treatment to come. I need to just get on with it and book!

Hope everyone's ok.

Grumpsy · 26/11/2020 09:37

@Annny27 I’m also back in my fertile week again, taking it easier this month so I’m not expecting much to be honest 🙈

Annny27 · 28/11/2020 11:06

Hi ladies :D I got my peak yesterday and today at cd15 and 16 so will probably ovulate overnight tonight, thats usually what happens :)

@Grumpsy @dogmam are you doing opks?

@Missgoldilocks how are you feeling mummy to be? 🥰🥰

@gems7 @PrettyTulip hope you girls are good! Whens your procedure gem? Xx

Mouseyel · 01/12/2020 19:18

hiya
I'm new on here, usually i lurk and read old convos for comfort but j today i registered as i'm having the worst day:
10/11 (not sure) DPO and had a BFN FRER and a BFN Clear Blue Digital
Can feel AF coming as i have cramps and i feel so emotional- ive been angry/sad crying and eating all day - this TTC is so hard been trying for 9 months

Gems7 · 01/12/2020 20:07

@Missgoldilocks Thanks angel 😘 I hope
You are taking it easy and enjoying every minute!

@Mouseyel Hey hun, listen we all understand how you feel on here don't worry! We have been trying longer than that so can totally empathise with you. It's hard and so emotional isn't it. Be kind to yourself though. Make an apt to see your GP aswell if you haven't already, maybe they can refer you now for some fertility checks xx

Annny27 · 02/12/2020 19:37

Evening girls :) I am about 3 dpo and hopefully taking this tww easy haha! Even had some pate today and I usually avoid pate and soft cheeses incase I am pregnant but I cant live my whole life just incase haha!

@Gems7 probably for the best, when will they tell you if anything f further needs to be done after the cells are removed? Will be thinking of you 💗💗

@Missgoldilocks haha I would be the same- hoping for sickness but also fed up of it if it happened haha!

@PrettyTulip any news on your referral?

@Grumpsy we must be pretty similar dpo this month then! Let's keep sane :p

@mouseyel its really all consuming and hard :( sorry about your bfn!

@dogmam how are you doing?

PrettyTulip · 03/12/2020 12:55

@Annny27 hello lovely. I haven't gone back to the drs yet to confirm weight loss as I'd like to lose a little more first.
With my MiL having the cancer diagnosis too and Covid etc I'm just not worrying about it as much atm as I have bigger 🎣 to fry so to speak... obv if it happens naturally in the meantime we'll be over the moon xx

Grumpsy · 03/12/2020 13:26

@Annny27 definitely need to keep each other same - how many dpo are you now?
