I am currently 29 weeks and doing okay :D feeling the heat of third trimester heatwave though haha!

@Missgoldilocks how are you doing?

It will be a surprise @gemms7 :D are you going to find out and do NIPT or anything like that? And when is due date? So exciting! Have you told your son?

@Annny27 we haven't told anybody, I think I'm going to keep it to ourselves until after the 12 week scan. Miscarriages take away the excitement Don't they, I want to make sure everything is okay this time before we tell people. My son doesn't know yet. I think I will have all of the screening tests offered yes. I am still waiting for my booking in apt with the midwife so will chat about it more with them.

I will be finding out the gender, I don't know how you can wait haha you must be dying to know if it's a boy or a girl. Xxx

@gemms7 yep they deffo do take some of the joy away!! But also makes us more appreciative of out little bundles ♥️♥️

How exciting :D are you hoping for one of each or a brother for your son? Either would be lovely 💙💙

@Annny27 I will be absolutely over the moon with either gender I can honestly say I am not bothered which 💗💙

@gemms7 that's one "beauty" of our journey is that we dont mind either way what the gender is because it's been such a journey!

This title really got me 😂I suppose I'm "only" month 9 of trying but still frustrated. Also not taking any supplements/vitamins etc. but maybe I should be?
I'm cycle day 9 and tested pos for ovulation on day 7, I suppose short cycles have their perk as you don't have to wait quite as long between tries!

@Missgoldilocks omg yes he is over the moon, I can't quite believe it after the last few years! We've all got there eventually it's lovely ♥️

@gemms7 🥰🥰 he's good thank you, he's walking now and cracks me up all the time. He's super needy though which I'm getting used to as his brother wasn't like that lol but I don't mind that much :) xx

@gemms7 i had a little girl 😊 and we’re finally home after 6 weeks in NICU but she’s done amazingly and only needed to gain weight rather than have any medical support.

I'm doing okay thankyou. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and have my NHS dating scan tomorrow afternoon so I am a bag of nerves tonight. So anxious!! Had my last scan 3 weeks ago and everything was fine so fingers crossed tomorrow goes smoothly xxx

Best of luck today @gemms7!! I remember being a nervous wreck at mine. And so annoyed that the sonographer was digging in so hard like uhhh there a baby in there be careful haha!

And yep sort of, still got a few things to get (car seat - but we know which one we want). We have the bassinet, pram, clothes, nappies, all that stuff :)

@Missgoldilocks yep its surreal to be like a month away! What gestation were you when you had your son?

@Annny27 I was 39 weeks but I got induced lol will you breastfeed?

@Missgoldilocks I am hoping too 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Have had two times over the past few months where some milk has leaked on to my top so I am hoping that's a sign that my body is preparing for breastfeeding haha! How about you?

@Annny27 yes I did what I could but lorenzo had tongue tie and they didn't realise for at least a week, then I got it cut but it Really affected my supply and he got used to bottle which makes them impatient with breast so I pumped mostly. That's a good sign hopefully you'll have loads! I never had any leak and when I was trying to breastfeed just didn't have a lot!

I am so pleased @gemms7 :D what due date have they given you? Yep they proper dug in haha! Now that bump is very big and prominent there is no more digging in for me haha!

@Missgoldilocks ahh that's frustrating- yeah I am going to take a close eye on tongue tie. Apparently tonge tie is more common these days if you take folic acid past 12 weeks (which I have been doing!).

@Annny27 My due date is 27th March
I was wondering about folic acid myself actually, I'm over 13 weeks now and still taking it.. is there any need?..
im tapering the cyclogest Down over the next week or two because I daren't just stop it like they told me to I have my first consultant apt next week so I might ask him about the folic acid.

@Missgoldilocks I LOVE the name Lorenzo!!!

@gemms7 apparently theres no need after 12 weeks as that's when neural tubes are all done growing/ forming but if it's in pregnacare they recomend just taking it throughout.

Oh I was on cyclogest too and went up to about 15 weeks I think and then did 1 every 2 days for a bit as I was scared about stopping haha

I'm doing okay thank you, having a newborn is bloody hard work I'm not gonna lie. I'm not complaining but my god I underestimated the sheer pleasure of just nipping for a wee when I needed one.
She had her 8 week vacs this week too, my god she doesn't want to be put down 😞 xx
