Hey girls, who'd have thought we would need another thread!

We welcome other long standers as we have all been ttc for quite while! (All of us about 18 months +)

With the greatest respect, if you are new to ttc, this isn't the thread for you as we are all angry and hormonal 😂😂

@Annny27 hope you're okay sweet xx

Annny27 · 21/04/2022 08:32

Thanks lovely @PrettyTulip 💗 had another scan yesterday and the NT was still high but lower than first

Had an NIPT test and will get the results within 2 weeks!

How are you feeling? I am starting to feel less sick day to day now but still super tired etc. And none of my trousers fit me now (13 weeks)

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 21/04/2022 09:47

Oh that's more reassuring then @Annny27, some babies do just have a bigger gap at the back of the neck - it doesn't necessarily mean DS. Hope you get your NIPT results soon.

I've not really been feeling anything in the way of symptoms either; 18w now and wouldn't know any different 😂 xx

Annny27 · 21/04/2022 10:15

Have you felt any movement yet? Do you know whether yout placenta is anterior or posterior? As that affects how early you might feel movements @PrettyTulip

And When's your anomaly scan?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 21/04/2022 11:28

@Annny27 yeah it's at the back where it should be, every scan I've had they've shown me the placenta and said it's all good.
Haven't felt any movements yet (that I'm aware of.. but I don't really know what I'm looking out for tbh) it should be anytime now though hopefully.

20w scan is beginning of may. It still seems so surreal tbh. Can't quite get my head around it.

gemms7 · 23/04/2022 15:10

Omg I can't believe I found our thread!!
And @Annny27 you're pregnant!! 😫♥️ that's so amazing! How do you feel? @PrettyTulip @Missgoldilocks how are you both doing?
I lost my phone aaaaaaaaaggeessss ago, then could never remember my password so had to set a new Mumsnet account up, then couldn't remember what our thread was called!
I've barely been on here but still have a browse every now and again which I've just done and here you are 💕😭 can't believe it!

Xx

PrettyTulip · 23/04/2022 15:12

PrettyTulip · 23/04/2022 20:05

Yay we have the group back! Thanks @Missgoldilocks 😘 xxx

Missgoldilocks · 23/04/2022 21:07

@Annny27 @PrettyTulip when are you both due? Xx

PrettyTulip · 23/04/2022 22:59

@Missgoldilocks I'm due September; I think @Annny27 is about 5w behind me so potentially October?

Can't believe after all of this time it's finally happened for us both 😊

Annny27 · 24/04/2022 09:56

Hello so nice to hear from you @Missgoldilocks @gemms7 😍

Yep I am 13 weeks and due in end of October:D

How's your little one now @Missgoldilocks

@PrettyTulip they also said I have a posterior placenta so at the back so hope I feel movements soon haha!

@gemms7 are you ttc at the moment? Thank you lovely 💗 I had surgery for endometriosis about 3 months before we conceived so I think that's what did the trick

OP posts:
gemms7 · 24/04/2022 22:15

So glad the group is back!

@PrettyTulip @Annny27 I am so happy for you both. You've waited such a long time and you both deserve it so much, I hope you are enjoying every minute of being pregnant and not suffering too much with symptoms.

I am still trying yes. I had a miscarriage a few months ago (2 in total now with 2 D&C's and 1 chemical pregnancy)
I've had surgery to remove a polyp so I've had a bit of a rough time but I'm still remaining positive I will get there, hopefully soon.

@Missgoldilocks lovely to read through and see you had your son a while ago. I hope you are enjoying motherhood. Do you think you will try for any more or is your family complete now?

Hope you've all had a great weekend!!

Xxx

PrettyTulip · 24/04/2022 22:43

@gemms7 I'm so sorry to hear that, I had a miscarriage 6 months prior to be being pregnant this time round; and I know @Annny27 has had her fair share too so you're in good company here.
You're correct; whilst the cards you are dealt are not easy you must remain positive! Your time will come and it will be even more worth every single heartache you got to get there ❤️

Missgoldilocks · 25/04/2022 07:37

I think it's bloody amazing that you both are at the same time too @Annny27 @PrettyTulip

@Annny27 he's good thank you 9 months now! Crawling around getting ready to walk :)

@gemms7 sorry to hear you are still having a hard time, I really hope you get pregnant with a strong bean soon ❤️
I am enjoying it yes, I would like one more maybe in a year or so. My sister is still trying to have a baby and 5 rounds of ivf and still nothing. We've found out she's got the fragile x syndrome which makes her ovaries old and crap quickly basically, I'm getting tested for it and we are in talks of me giving her some eggs if i dont have thay same gene. So maybe after that we could start trying xx

PrettyTulip · 27/04/2022 05:04

@Missgoldilocks what an absolute incredible thing to do for your sister!

@Annny27 how are you doing lovely? Have you had any results yet? Xx

Annny27 · 27/04/2022 20:25

Sorry to hear about your recent miscarriage @gemms7 it's really awful thing to go through 💗 hopefully now the polyp has gone you have more of a chance xx

And I did have quite bad morning sickness but that seems to have eased now at around week 13 which is good!

@Missgoldilocks that's really tough for your sister! But would be lovely is your donor eggs could mean she could have a genetically related child

@PrettyTulip no test results yet still waiting 🤞🤞 When's your 20 week now?

OP posts:
Laur89 · 27/04/2022 21:11

Omg @Annny27 and @PrettyTulip I've also just caught up on this thread and seen both of your news, that's absolutely amazing, congratulations I'm so happy for you!! 🥰🥰🥰

Annny27 · 29/04/2022 08:34

My NIPT results came back clear for downs syndrome, Edwards and pateus 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you @Laur89 💗 😊 how are you and baby (toddler by now!) doing?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 29/04/2022 12:55

@Laur89 thanks sweet! If this horrible update has done anything good then it's brought us all back to this thread 🙌🏻

@Annny27 ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I'm over the moon for you, you must be ecstatic!! All that worry and little baba is just fine 😊 omg yaaaaay xx

Annny27 · 03/05/2022 22:08

Are you feeling movements yet @PrettyTulip

I am so much less sick the further I go into 2nd trimester 🙌

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 04/05/2022 06:50

@Annny27 that's good then. How are you feeling atm?

No, not that I'm aware of. Think I've felt some tingling around my stomach area but haven't registered it as being movement yet, cannot wait until it's constant & obvious 😊

Annny27 · 07/05/2022 08:53

@PrettyTulip I feel pretty good which is weird haha! Sickness has mostly gone, Bloating reduced etc. I know this happens in 2nd trimester but still feels weird haha!

Awwh how lovely that you have been maybe feeling movement 😍😍😍😍 I can't wait for that

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 10/05/2022 12:56

@Annny27 if does calm down a lot during 2nd trimester 😊
I've had my 20w scan and everything came back normal. I'm still finding this pregnancy so surreal - time to relax a little now though 🥰

Annny27 · 10/05/2022 13:08

That's awesome:D @PrettyTulip I have mine booked for 4 weeks time. I am also in disbelief sometimes like wtf I am nearly 16 weeks pregnant!!

I had a 15/16 week anomaly scan today with the consultant and she said everything was looking normal structurally which was good! And I think I have been feeling some movement!!
