Hey girls, who'd have thought we would need another thread!

We welcome other long standers as we have all been ttc for quite while! (All of us about 18 months +)

With the greatest respect, if you are new to ttc, this isn't the thread for you as we are all angry and hormonal 😂😂

@Annny27 omg 😱 I'm keeping absolutely everything triple crossed for you!!!! That's amazing!! We can do this together -- come on girl 🥰🥰🥰

Annny27 · 14/02/2022 16:06

Yes omg I hope so much that we can be pregnancy buddies 💗🤩💗🤩💗🤩💗🤩 @prettytulip

Do you have nausea or anything?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 14/02/2022 20:41

@Annny27 nope I have hardly any symptoms which worries me 😔 I did have tiredness and hunger on and off but nothing really now, apart from constipation- it really really hurts not being able to go 😔

Annny27 · 14/02/2022 21:44

@prettytulip symptoms will come and go and as you have seen the heartbeat and had no symptoms, i think you might just be having a good pregnancy (apart from the constipation!)

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 14/02/2022 21:49

@Annny27 I really hope that is the case but I just can't help but think the worse (and that I'm doomed?!) I'm sure you'll feel the same. Just wish I could enjoy being pregnant but I'm crippled with every form of anxiety going!

When would your EDD be?

Annny27 · 14/02/2022 21:57

@prettytulip 100% 😪 pregnancy after loss and infertility is real nerve wracking!

At the moment it seems like end of October but not entirely sure. What about you?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 14/02/2022 22:01

@Annny27 it really is! I truly envy these people who do a test and just accept all is fine and go the 12 week scan like normal 😦
Can't believe we've on this journey for like 3yrs?! I really really hope it's our year 🤗

I'm due mid September based on dates but early scan was 5 days behind x

Annny27 · 14/02/2022 22:12

Ooh September baby will be lovely! @prettytulip

Yep I am very jealous of people who sail through - I will try and be a bit calm and take each day as it comes haha!

Yep 3 years!!! If you had told me that at the start I would have not believed you

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 14/02/2022 22:26

@Annny27 yup I agree with you on that! I was naive and thought it'd happen straight away 😬

Annny27 · 16/02/2022 20:12

Did a digital just to confirm 🥳 I know its silly but just wanted to be sure haha 🤣

@prettytulip

I am supposed to be 12dpo today but I am wondering if I am a bit later than that as the lines were fairly dark
When did you get your positives or weren't you tracking?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 16/02/2022 20:39

@Annny27 omg woop woop!
What's the furthest you've been pregnant for? I'm really hoping this is our time 🤞🤞🤞

I wasn't tracking, I'd been having fairly regular cycles since I miscarried 6 months prior, so I just took a test on 'day 29' and got a faint positive on a cheapie - then the next day 'day 30' I got a very clear positive on a FRER. No idea whatsoever as to when I ovulated x

Annny27 · 16/02/2022 20:41

@prettytulip I had a mmc so I was technically pregnant for 12 weeks but the baby stopped developing at 6 weeks (found out at a 9 /10 week scan)

Probably ovulated smack bang in the middle of your cycle then. That's awesome that your cycle regulated itself after your miscarriage

I am so hopeful for us 💗💗💗💗

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 16/02/2022 20:44

That's so heartbreaking. Will you be having another early scan this time? This first trimester where you're kinda left in limbo is deffo hard and I feel it just draaags.

Did you naturally miscarry or go for a controlled method? Is that why the baby was still inside you for another 2/3 weeks?
I found out I had a MMC and then literally the next day naturally miscarried x

Annny27 · 16/02/2022 20:48

My body didn't let go atall! I had to take medication to induce the miscarriage but then ended up having to have surgical removal as some remained in the uterus. It was quite the ordeal!!

Thats good that you had natural (although not good atall that we had to go through it 💙)

And yep 100% will get early scan! Whens your next? @prettytulip

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 16/02/2022 21:08

@Annny27 omg yes I bet that was truly awful for you, I'm sure that can't have been easy. Kinda makes you think the baby still has hope if your body doesn't recognise something is wrong doesn't it.

Yes, I'm my head (although I know it's silly) I was thinking what they told me was wrong and the baby was fine so having any 'help' would technically be aborting my baby - but to miscarry naturally the next day was truly devastating but also reassuring that my body did the right thing 🙌🏻 (at least for something haha)

Erm not got one booked atm, waiting for my 12w one to arrive in the post which should be in about 3 weeks. Not made my mind up yet if I'll have another early scan or not x

PrettyTulip · 20/02/2022 12:42

How you doing @Annny27 ? Xx

Annny27 · 20/02/2022 20:51

Not too bad @PrettyTulip got my progesterone levels checked tomorrow just to make sure they are all okay 🙌

How about you?

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 20/02/2022 22:13

@Annny27 glad you're doing well! Is that something you've requested from the Dr or are you having that done privately?

I'm okay thanks, super bloated. Feel like I've put 10 stone on (and look it - not a bump, just flab) even though I've weighed myself and lost weight 😂 wtf lol

Annny27 · 20/02/2022 22:19

@prettytulip I think a lot of people lose weight in first trimester just through lack of appetite and nausea 🤣🤣 haha

I requested it privately just to make sure it's all good!

Hi ladies, can I join? I'm not 18 months yet, but almost there as this is cycle 15 for us (although have been "trying" for a few months before that). Had bloods, SA done last year which were normal. Had an ultrasound at the start of this month which showed a fibroid and thin lining. So trying to work on that this month as I have increased my Vit E dose, trying swimming and yoga to improve blood flow to the uterus. Also started acupuncture last month. I have my HSG booked for next week as well. So, some progress I guess.

@Annny27 congratulations on the BFP! How long have you been TTC? Sorry, I'm yet to catch up on all the messages.

Annny27 · 07/03/2022 09:11

@tinkerbell098 so sorry to only have just seen this!! This thread is really only me and pretty at the moment and we are both expecting so probanly not the best space if ttc BUT I am on another thread with ladies with infertility which is still active and I have linked it below. Feel free to join:)

@prettytulip how are you?? I had my 6.5 week scan and saw a heartbeat which was lovely :)

OP posts:
PrettyTulip · 07/03/2022 13:02

@Annny27 oh that's great! I bet it was very emotional for you! How are you feeling?
I have my 12w scan tomorrow and I'm nervous as hell tbh 😣 x x

Annny27 · 08/03/2022 07:24

@prettytulip oh wow! Best of luck lovely 💗💗🌈 let me know how it goes.

And ahh I feel so sick haha. Didn't have sickness last time so this is a shock. How about you?
