@vil10 only 6-7 cycles but I had the added worries of early menopause running in my family (mum and great grandma in their early 30s - younger than I am now!) so wanted to make sure there weren't any indicators of that, especially as my AMH test from last year showed I had a low egg reserve for my age.

@Gem176 jesus Gem that's stupidly rural! How far are you from the nearest hospital when you get to giving birth time?

@amy2503 I'm a bit different with my IVF but even with that it's 18 months of TTC with that & shagging naturally TTC in between, one missed miscarriage & a BFN from number 2 so no baby to show for it 😫

@Minster2012 they asked if this will be a weekly appointment, tempting to say yes and have a Wednesday afternoon break, just with the phone on my ear...

I was bursting but oh was in the bath so had to go without testing 🙄😂 think I'll just wait for my frer and use cb for a week checker if I get a positive. Last time I didn't show up on cb until my 3rd test when it predicted 2-3 weeks so probably best to avoid them at this stage.

@Juno231 about 120 miles to nearest hospital with maternity. I live in the highlands, huge area, and there is only one hospital with a maternity unit (Inverness) so lots of places have huge distances to it. Have to go there for scans etc too and I will have a monthly clinic because of my diabetes which then increases to fortnightly towards the end. Lots of travelling 🙄

@Juno231 winding and of the two route options.... both have kamikaze deer jumping out at this time of year, route 1 the deer are much worse but route 2 has single track sections 😩 however it's worth it to live here...

@Gem176 wow that is beautiful! I would love to live somewhere like that, but I find work is hard to get around those types of places without travelling for miles. What do you do for work?

Wow that looks beautiful @Gem176, my DH usually has an annual lads trip stalking to either near Aberdeen or Inverness they alternate. In December...trudging up the sides of hills for miles on end in the freezing cold to lie still for hours trying to get thems deer. Weirdo. I'm sat at home (ok not great on my own with DS for 6 days) but usually drinking mulled wine every night in front of the fire 🔥and I think it was the right move with the FRER 🤞🏻

@Juno231 totally get the frustration on not being any closer...have they said theirs any next steps you can have now? Today was a nursery day and I've been remarkable unproductive. Fannyed around trying to sort out cupboards whilst binge watching "5 guys a week" so it basically looked like I'd done f all and tbh....well. We all have those days 😂is work a bit less stressful or does your boss still need to electrocute themselves??

@Minster2012 work is still awful, OH and I have been sat with our laptops in front of the TV until 10pm every night for a week now I reckon. We've been binge watching Schitt's Creek in the background though which has been a hoot! @Newbie0818 I'm an SLT, partly what prompted the move to here was that a job came up. I believe in fate. Long story short... partner has two houses, house 1 that he lived in and this house, house 2. House 2 was the house he grew up in and bought when his elderly father put it on the market. FiL didn't want a big house anymore, too expensive, limited mobility at his age etc etc. He built a chalet in the garden and moved in there, despite being told he was free to stay in the house. He was a bit stubborn. OH didn't want to live here while his dad was still around as they didn't get along all that well but planned to move here in the future (his job means he could be based at either house). FiL passed away, original plan to move to house 1 then became a discussion of whether we rented house 1 and moved into house 2 instead. First job on a job search of the area came up with my job. That and a few other positives sealed it and we moved in at Christmas.

@Minster2012 my brother, father, several uncles, grand father and several great uncles are or were deer stalkers.... I don't see the attraction myself, seems like a bit too much effort to haul my arse up a big hill in bad weather 🤣 if your DH had ever been out shooting with my dad he'd probably remember it as he has a thing for making guests crawl for miles through streams and all sorts... always gets his stag though 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Juno231 sounds like what I already swapped for this 😂 I miss some things about city life (mainly McDonald's 🐷😂) but I'm a country girl and I'm not sure the horses would cope in a 7m garden 🤔

@Gem176 sounds wonderful and totally understand the house moves. DH would say that was any deer stalker they've been with, especially if they get my DH & his 2 brothers plus friends too being noisy until on the hills (then totally respectful) but twats the rest of the time. I'd make them go through every bloody freezing streak I could 😂🤣

I can honestly say I do not do the not drinking thing. Not that I drink that often mind. But I don't deprive myself if I want it. Or tea. I did in the beginning but then I figured- what is the point?! Spending what could be years without things I like. No point in making myself more miserable! 🤣

@Kirky658 @lucyrp I used the boots conception ones initially as the pregnacare reviews worried me. I eventually swapped to them anyway. I can honestly say none made any difference to my cycle (average 26 or 27 days). I've also tried every other thing under the sun. 🙄 I'm now opting for folic acid only, because I decided maybe something in that stuff was maybe preventing it! (Conspiracy brain gone wrong). 🤣 Who bloody knows but it certainly didn't help.
