Just a little update on me for anyone who remembers me 🙈

Had our private gender scan this morning (18 weeks) and we are having a baby boy 💙💙💙

Well the doctor just called to give hubby the news about his sperm analysis. Basically, it's all ok apart from the shape of it is slightly abnormal, which can affect conception. So with that and my PCOS, his doctor has referred us both to fertility clinic so we'll wait for that 🙌🏼 I've also now transferred from my useless gp to hubby's gp as he's so much more supportive. He was literally so helpful on the phone and basically said I should have been referred to the clinic months ago, which I'm very annoyed about! But at least it's happening and the ball is finally rolling! And although I'm a bit upset, I'm glad it's actually both of us with an issue as it explains why even though I do ovulate sometimes, nothing has happened in 15 months. Relief. A long journey ahead for us no doubt, but finally something is happening ✨

@Juno231 cycle day 27 here and still waiting for ovulation 👋🏻 my cycles are normally 32 days total so I'm extremely fed up. And bored of 🍆

I'm a big fan of period sex. I've suffered from dryness in the past so everything being all lovely and naturally lubed up around my period is great 😅 we put a towel down and are careful though.

Anyone seen crazy ex girlfriend? I always get the period sex song in my head every time AF comes on and I'm in the mood.

I've had a productive day where fertility proactivity is concerned. Booked my blood test appointment in for Wednesday morning and acupuncture for Wednesday afternoon. Anyone tried acupuncture before?

For fertility specifically I mean... I've had it before generally. It's covered by insurance here though so I thought why not give it a go.

@NestinginNL seems it's been a productive day on the fertility front!! Glad you've got your blood tests booked in! I've had acupuncture for my back but not fertility related so I can't help you there sorry x

@newbie0818 I'm glad you finally have some answers hun. It is likely a long road ahead but having some answers must feel a bit of a relief. Nothing worse than not having an answer to the problem because then it makes finding the solution so much harder. Sending positive vibes that 2021 is a good year for you xxx

@Gem176 I'm unsure of dpo as I was on CD 117 before I got the spotting. It only lasted 3 days and didn't get heavy just only appeared when wiping and pinky in colour to brown last off. Eventually got to sleep at 4am then up again at 9 only to spend half the day napping on the sofa. Spent the afternoon wanting to throw up 🤷‍♀️ finally had some food and settled a bit. See if the sickness comes back. Did test this morning too but bfn. I'm at a loss at what to think. Between the teenage spots coming back with avengance and oh telling me he thinks I'm prego ..my heads just spinning and don't know where I am tbh

@Newbie0818 Good news about the referral. No surprise about the useless Drs. I've about had my fill with them. My DHs Dr seemed more efficient than mine too. I thought about swapping but the latest lady dr I'm dealing with seems OK, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt! Waiting for blood results. But my DH managed to speak to his, get SA done and results all before I could even get a phone call with mine back in August! 🙄 Hopefully you'll be able to get things sped up a bit now.

I've just read through and caught up with the other stuff. 🤣 Its made me jealous of people with a decent AF. I don't even need 4 tampons for the whole thing, let alone in a day!

I also now am concerned that I have no need to do the death roll? I mean, the gravity thing i agree is an issue. But more importantly you all mention it coming out on your DH? And that never happens here?! So either he doesn't produce a gallon or it disappears into my mammoth cavity never to be seen again?! 🤔 It does fall out later if I go to the toilet. But he never ends up wearing it. So what's going on? 🤣

As for sex toys- I'm not sure I'm up for wood. Bullets yes but definitely need power over size! My good one cost like £50?! But it was worth it......

@Minster2012 the new house is livable! We figured out in the end all these auction properties would be more expensive after renovation especially with the fee to set up a loan to borrow the money.
Its 3 bedrooms, with a big block of stables/ barn and 2.6 acers. Possibility to rent next door as well. I hope we are in before the end of Jan, before Xmas would be the dream but everyy is slow these days.

@Juno231 I think you make yourself more stressed by looking all this info up lovely and worrying! When I first went to the IVF clinic the "angel of death" (as we call her cos even good news she delivers like she's killed your hamster) nurse consultant she said "your AMH and egg levels are so low that you should prepare yourself to get NO EGGS, and even by some miracle if we get any eggs they probably won't be good enough to fertilise & it won't work." Well we got a couple & they did so up yours! So I try not to get too hung up on worrying about stats...maybe not read stuff like that!

@Gem176 surely you don't have to do all the driving? Like as part of an agreement with him surely he should still meet halfway at least some of the time?!

I've been a few days behind reading for absolutely ages - work has been mega busy - can never keep up with you lot!!! I've read it all though!! Can't reply to everyone I'm sorry!

@Sausage1990 so sorry to hear your experience has been dragging on 😔 but great that you've got a pretty much negative test! I had to go back for a scan to check for retained product and they couldn't see any, but it took about 7 weeks for me to get a negative test - I had a period in between and was still getting faint positives 🤯 so I know how you feel on that!

I have good news to share - I've finally ovulated! Now 4dpo according to bbt 😊 not expecting to get a BFP this month given mc in sep, but feeling relieved I'm ovulating again and my body is back to normal! 💃 @Juno231I'll be testing on the 15th (if not earlier!)

On the flow chat - I think I am one of the lucky ones as I have light/ medium flow on day 1 and tend to just use pads, then days 2-4 I could probably get away with just a thin pantyliner! They were definitely way heavier with crippling cramps when I was younger, but since coming off the pill they are unrecognisable. Was on the pill for like 15 years so must have changed me!

On the sex toy chat - I have a vibrator that is fab, we like to use it during sex so that we can both come at the same time - I can't just from sex, need some clit action too!

I've also just had loads of test results back from recurrent mc clinic - as the one in sep was my third - and the ones that have come back online all look in the normal range. They are also doing genetic testing which will take a bit longer to come back. I had to have like 10 vials of blood drained for the tests, OH came with me and had to have 1 vial done, and he actually passed out!! 😂

Thanks ladies, I feel I feel relieved that we finally have our referral. Hubby initially seemed ok with his results, but I can tell he feels a bit worried about the abnormality now. Just trying to keep a positive spin on it all now. Definitely a long road ahead but hopefully we can get some help.

@Dollybird89 I'm having a similar thing with a random long cycle and a shedload of BFNs 😩 I'm currently on CD71 and hating everything. Was gonna go speak to the GP but then DH went into the office for one day and is now self isolating. Had to get him a covid test tonight too, so think it'll be a while before I can actually get to speak to a doctor (don't wanna go while the whole household is potentially infectious!) Are long cycles normal for you?

@InkyPaper @Dollybird89 omg long cycle sisters! I've had 3 messed up long ones since I had a CP in may, I had 72 days, 47, and 59 😫 I'm usually a 30 day regular girl!

@Dollybird89 I didn't even know you could get a 117 day cycle! This thread is honestly teaching me so much about being female! Think the curriculum needs updating! Why didn't we learn any of this in school. They were too busy telling us that if we do much as looked at a boy without a condom we were going to get pregnant.... oh how that makes me laugh now!!
