I'm okay... this is my first ttc journey... I feel like It won't ever happen, because it hasn't so far, and that makes me really anxious. I'm trying not to overthink it this month and trying to DtD every 2-3 days but it's impossible not to think about it constantly ! Thanks for being so kind xxxx

CD14 and due another boink today - so bored of waiting for ovulation though (sorry for those that ovulate waaaay later, I don't mean to be ungrateful!) and just want this over and done with. Can you tell TTC is feeling a bit meh for me nowadays? Like what's the point, none of it works anyway.

@Franklydear 😂😂😂 nearly choked on my tea!! I like the sound of your mum 😊 I was honestly so confused by them, couldn't work out the purpose at all and never even thought of sex toy because, well... it's wood!! Splinters, the logistics of cleaning them after and the sheer size of them 😳 ruled them out 😂 how wrong I was! But they do say anything's a dildo if you are brave enough 🤣

@Skip86 I've never told anyone how it happened, still have a scar, irl the story is I slipped by the pool but I have no issues telling you guys what actually happened 🙈 I've gone from overly private to oversharer on here! It's like therapy!

@lucyrp I'd be absolutely raging at that! DD gets a half day on a Friday, and with times my ex demands I have to take her straight from school to meet him. He's now taken to returning her to me on a Sunday in the unwashed uniform I drop her off in. He's done it twice now 🤬 She used to come back in clothes from his and I'd wash and return them with her next time. From now on I'm just going to put a return outfit in her bag 🙄 I don't get why they can't use their brains! They are their children! I wouldn't ever dress her in dirty clothes or allow her to go for an hours walk while soaked through, you'll be the same but they just don't seem to get it! He lets her stay up late and eat pure rubbish so she comes home knackered, grouchy and refusing proper food and it takes days to get her back into routine 😭 sorry for the rant!! Xx

@Dollybird89 no nausea or sickness here but we had a takeaway last night (I had a six hour round trip to collect dd so couldn't be bothered cooking 🙈), my absolute favourite food from my favourite takeaway and i couldn't even eat half, was more interested in the poppadoms then promptly fell asleep 😴 how many dpo are you? Did you manage to sleep and are you feeling today?

@Gem176 my DS dad doesn't even have him that much. Normally he has him every Wednesday straight after school for a couple of hours and he can't even feed him tea then. So by the time he comes home he's hungry and its already past bed time so he ends up going to bed late because I have to feed him, bath him and put him to bed all past bed time. He's never even stayed over night at his dads. Not that I mind as DS just seems to be a trophy to him. Oh the way to school this morning DS was telling me about who he'd been with yesterday and it sounds like about 5 different people 2 of who i definitely don't want DS around 🙄 also after coming home wet and cold when it got to bed time last night he was so hyper running around and all sorts so he'd definitely been fed lots of sweets. He also told me his dinner was "sausages and dinosaurs" god knows what else he had but I'm actually surprised he even fed him. No need I've clearly just ranted too!😂

@lucyrp dd goes every second weekend. I have had to threaten not to send her unless he ensures she has a shower at least once, brushes her teeth and feeds her something other than super noodles. I put a bag of shopping off with her so i know she's ok. My mum lives in the same town so keeps an eye but this weekend he said no to DD going to hers on Saturday night and DD says he had been drinking beer watching the football and had a sore head 😢 he got torn a new one for that! Told him any weekend his team are playing she won't be with him!

Morning ladies, I have read through all the comments but DS being a bit feral so can't reply to everyone individually! But @Franklydear I have give to that spa last time for 3 days but he only had DS one actual day of those due to nursery one day & my parents the other but all evenings/meals too & ive been away due a weekend before...he just goes over to his mums where the dogs walk themselves on their land & they all get fed. 🙄so it's not exactly the same. Im still pissed off but he came onto the bed this morning to apologise. It's all the house stuff that annoys me. Like I've just sorted out claiming on our house insurance (which I also sort out of course in the first place) for his gun repair. It's saved him £1,000. I did all the emailing and photos etc. Should have not bothered.

Oh god I need a smack round the head or something this morning... I've woken up like a bear with a sore head after a restless night of sleep, every little thing is irritating me and I've got an incredibly painful armpit! First thing I noticed this morning when getting out of bed. Boobs feel a bit tender too.

I am only 6dpo (I think I ovd last Tuesday) so I know it's incredibly unlikely to be anything please tell me I'm being an idiot then I can relax 😂

I'm glad you got an apology, and I hope OH learns something from the whole situation and shows his appreciation a whole lot better in future.
My OH knew I was ov-ing because it told him (I'm not testing or anything, but I'm very regular day 14 of a 28 day cycle), because there's absolutely no way I would want to 'trick' him into knocking me up. Between you, me, and the lamppost though, if his pre-cum gets me preg I'd be fucking ecstatic and it'd serve him right!! 😜

Tonight I made one of my fave dinners (poke bowl w chicken and pickled vege and loads of other excellentness), but didn't have enough ingredients for the kids too, so I gave them porridge and sent them to bed before I ate. Winning 🤣

I was tempted to thumped him 🤬 6 hour round trip, it's not normally as bad but the combination of roadworks and huge numbers of behemoth motorhomes crawling around shitty country roads means little or no chance to overtake so you get stuck for MILES! This bumps my usual 2hr journey up to almost 3 hrs 😭
Ex doesn't drive so I have to do all the travelling! A child free weekend sounds great until I realised that those weekends I spend 12 hours driving 😏

Random but decided to double check my TSH levels from day 3 bloods in July. They're at 3.1 which is within the NHS normal range so therefore "fine" per the GP but if you check anything online, including medical journals and fertility clinics - they all say that more than

@lucyrp what were your TSH levels btw as a lot of the symptoms I'm reading for hypothyroidism sound a bit like yours? It even says that people often assume it's PCOS at first - which I think we've said you sound like you could have but the docs said you don't - what if it's this instead?

@Juno231 umm I don't know they didn't actually tell me the levels or if they did I didn't make a note of them. If I ring and ask the receptionist can she read then to me or do I have to speak to the doctor ?

@Juno231 although I've read through the symptoms myself before and friends have suggested to me I have it but I don't think I have any of the symptoms ? Maybe one ?
