@lucyrp not sure what you are asking....squirting is it?? Ah not sure about that but the general idea is an orgasm makes your vagina contract in a way that moves the sperm upwards so orgasming after him gives an advantage.

@Katao well squirting wouldn't be an issue would it but there two kinds of coming isn't there you get like the squirting and then actual come as such. just had a funny thought that was all😂

Anyone had any experience of people having their ‘period’ and then getting a BFP?

A friend of a friend (so I don’t actually know how true this story is) has apparently just gotten her BFP a week after having what she thought was a normal period with pain etc.

I guess I’m asking because I want to know if this is a real thing and if so, why has this never happened to me? 😂😂

Only got the coil out on 21st October and got my AF 22nd so officially my first month trying. Think my fertile window will be round about 5th November. Xx

@AmesK with ds I found out I was pregnant, went to the midwife, went to the scan, back to the midwife, when was your last period? Gave the date, not possible, you were already pregnant then, it was the first time I heard about implantation bleeding.

Thanks @Franklydear! It’s very interesting to hear that these things happen, didnt really know what to think when I heard the story! I think when I heard it I was hoping maybe the same thing would happen to me as AF has been very slow to start but since my post I’ve started having full flow 😂😂 Sod’s bloody law eh? 😂😂

@amesk my best friend had a more light period than usual so took a test and got her BFP. Little man is 9 months old now. Problem for me is I now assume the same every month and get disappointed so stopped taking tests...

@Kirky658 I see what you mean! I think I was very close to going down this route and testing today but then started having proper flow AF so I’ve saved myself a test I guess. It was nice though to have some hope 😂

@Amesk feel your pain. This was literally me on second cycle TTC I was so convinced I told the nurse when I went for my flu jab so she refused to give me the pneumonia one too until we proved I wasn't pregnant... Added insult to injury did that!

This might sound awful, but I was hoping to get pregnant about now so that baby would be due in the summer hols as DH is a teacher so could have 6 weeks off together. He's dead chilled about the whole thing, it will happen when it happens, but he's so excited I hate seeing his face when my period comes every month. We've only been TTC 4 cycles though so can't complain really! Xx

@2020mission that sounds like a right nightmare with the water coming in, what can they do about it?

@lucyrp I definitely had a MASSIVE orgasm after DH last night & it full on lasted 5 mins I kept saying "stay there don't move" with him inside me he was like "you are crushing my knob" I didn't care & it means nowt to us TTC wise but great sex 😂😋oh and without condoms for the time being! Yay!!
I've never squirted that I know of...no one has ever commented anyway 🤔

@Juno231sorry to hear the bfn. Could it be that OH is just terrified about the SA? I know my DH was really nervous and I think there's such a stigma in males about having 'strong swimmers' and it must be a worry for him that he isn't going to have a good result.
How does he act when he gets upset or worried normally? Is he doing similar?
It would definitely be great if our OH were as tuned in and supportive to the cause when we feel we have to make all the effort though. I think men generally have a very skewed idea of TTC 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Minster2012 possibly, but I only have 2 cories left, 2 goldfish, 3 shrimps and 3 snails, in a 70 l tank so is quiet peaceful, cories are about 1.5 years old, the other one was about half a year ago

@Minster2012 OH says it feels like i'm pushing his dick out when i orgasm 🤣 you would defo know if you've squirted. i know and OH doesn't notice half the time 😂

@Minster2012 the resident in the flat above said he will get a plumber out tomorrow morning. I just need to pray he doesn't decide to use the bath/shower again before the plumber comes. He can't see any water in his flat but I raced upstairs the moment it started and he had just ran a bath so definitely seems to be that. Had to move our sofa, bed and some stuff out of the wardrobe to prevent the water damaging them - definitely one of the worst Saturday nights I've had!

I had booked a holiday off work tomorrow but realised today my OH has his annual diabetes hospital appointment tomorrow afternoon so we can't go out for lunch as planned 😂 bad news after bad news. I'll likely have my BFN next week just to top it off.

Although just had a huge argument with my OH. We’ve been trying for 2 years now and he’s said that he won’t want to go down the IVF route and that if it doesn’t happen then it doesn’t happen. I feel absolutely gobsmacked and pretty devastated. Not sure where to go from here, hoping he will sit down and read all the fertility information I’ve dug up because I think he’s very misinformed about the whole process at the minute.

So sorry to hear about your OH. Do you think he's not discussing it because he doesn't think you'll need IVF? Or perhaps he's scared because of the cost implications? The only thing you can do is try and get him as well informed as you can do really. Men eh x

@Kirky658 Well, that's what I'm hoping- that it will just be due to a lack of information, so hoping he will read up and we can re-discuss again at some point. Too angry to at the minute though :p
