Ah @minster2012 I'm sure he does love u but I understand where ur coming from. My 2 wrote both clung to me but in saying that I was out working while DH raised them.

@franklydear 100% bull with the banks not looking at current rent. Our mortgage is cheaper than what our "council rent" was.

Here 2.5yrs and live it. Today we put a door on the fire and I love it.

Aww thank you ladies, and I (definitely now) hope it will change as it just makes me feel so angry & frustrated, then I get angry at myself for getting angry at him as he's just a toddler 😩🤦🏼‍♀️that's what's great about us all, we are all at different parts of our lives/TTC #1 or TTC#3 or younger or older /TTC a long time of short/IVF & medical problems or not, and we all need support through TTC cos we all have the urge & frustrations not just with our bodies but also just the actual WANT of a child & the hurt it can cause 😩😔talking helps. I hope you all feel you can.

I don’t have any little ones yet so can’t give a personal view but I can say that I’m sure he loves you lots and lots and you are a bloody fantastic person, that’s obvious! @lucyrp yeah I know what you mean!! I haven't got a credit card purely for that reason because I'd want to use it for holidays and stuff😂 but I'm applying for one whilst I'm off for half term purely to up my credit rating that little bit more so hopefully we can borrow more for our new house!

@Minster2012 I'm sorry I can't really offer any advice or relate but I can imagine that being really heartbreaking, but one thing I do know about working with children is they go through phases, could this just be a phase for him, or has this always been the case?? Either way he 1000% loves you just as much so please don't get down about it❤️

Does anyone else love getting in the festive mood and buying things for every season/occasion for the house?? Saw these little white pumpkins in Aldi today and had to pick some up, then thought when i got home I'll pick 2 more up tomorrow and carve mine my OH and the 2 dogs initials in them😂

@Vil10 i have a couple of credit cards but my largest one i took out with the bank when i went to work for said kitchen company and they put me on an apprenticeship and wanted me to complete w course i'd already done for less money so i was out of pocket big time at about £5 an hour so had to use the credit card to live on basically for 6 months 😬😬 what do you for a job then!

@Juno231 no Barbados for me unfortunately, too many people got in my ear about Zika so we ended up cancelling annoyingly I'd read the t&cs wrong and there was no refund just a voucher so we'll try and book again next year. Also wanted to say what a fab job you're doing with keeping track of everyone 🥰

@notyetamumbuttrying hope the viewing went well and I'm sure you'll get pregnant before your birthday... you're literally hitting this ttc lark from every angle now so that sperm is going to find that egg and once it's in there I'm so hopeful it will all be perfect x

@Vil10 just make sure if you get a credit card that you pay it off in full every month, that's likely to have the best impact on credit scoring. I'd also say that unless you have a low credit score it probs won't make too much difference as mortgages are primarily assessed on max salary multiples/ loan to value and affordability (sorry my mortgage advisor brain had to butt in 😂)

@Minster2012 the 2nd part of your message the other day really confused me, I've had 2weeks off work and my brain no longer works 🙈 p.s I know from reading about everything the last 6months that you are a fucking superwomen and when your little boy grows up he will be in awe of what a wonderful human his mum is. I'm sure he will look back on all the wonderful memories that you've made together and will always come to you for solid advice and cuddles xxx

@Vil10 & @lucyrp see on the credit card front my parents are so sensible with money & teaching my brother & I good ways we saved etc so when we're 18 each they actually told us to get a credit card to get a good credit score but only ever have it on direct debit so we can pay it off. They proper drilled it into us. Like we were not given "pocket money" from age 10 we had £20 a month "allowance" paid into a bank with a card for ATM and everything and had to get jobs if we wanted anything else or we could leave it in the bank! But never ask for more. Harsh but fair. We could get jobs though, babysitting, car washing & paper rounds (but those were the days when you could go to the get the bus, go cinema, get sweets & get a Mac Donald's for under a tenner!) AND snog for all of titanic too!

@Minster2012 oh yeah my mum was totally against it and told me jot too where as my dad always had a few that hed juggle all the time to get the 0%. he was self employed carpenter so would use it to get materials before he'd got paid from the job though. i was forced to use mine to actually live so really feels like empty debt to me as i never used it for anything in particular only fuel and food for the month as funnily enough i couldn't live on £600 a month 😬 i had lots of savings when i reached 18. mum chose a car for me to buy then i crashed it a year later🤣 so there they were gone lol

oo ladies after saying my apps secured ov day as the 20th i remembered having cramps around that day so checked my notes and i recorded cramps on the sunday 18th do we think they were ov related or is the time difference too much between them ?

Oh @Minster2012 that is 100% it, you are the reliable, always there one. He doesn't have to impress you 😂 whereas because daddy isn't the main caregiver and is coming and going more he is clingy to him. It's a form of separation anxiety. It might help if you try things like always giving warnings when daddy is leaving, waving goodbye, letting him know when he will be back etc so he might then be a bit less clingy when he is there. I realise that's not always possible when running your own business though. But ya generally speaking mammy is there safe space so they unload all there emotional baggage on you and you get the brunt of all the tantrums and frustrations. Yay 😂 he loves you though.

@lucyrp as if they did that!! That's so bad, surely if they wanted you to complete the course they should've either funded it or paid you for it?? Some companies I don't understand!! I'm a director of my mums business, she owns 3 nurseries and they double up as before, after school and holiday clubs! I've worked with her since I left college at 18, and in this last year I've completed loads of courses and been doing more the office side/management side of it, and did a course where I can do all in house training for our staff for safeguarding etc!! We usually open half terms and holidays but because of covid and at the minute you can't mix children and schools we aren't opening until we know more and restrictions ease!

@SmileyT oh yeah definitely, I've said I'll just use it for either diesel or like the food shop, my OH is so good with his money and hardly uses his credit card, and my parents have always been good with things like this so I'd never be stupid with it! My credit scores quite high but I just thought the higher I can get it the better really!

@Minster2012 that's good that they were like that, taught you how to be sensible with money, my parents were very much the same on the saving front, they always drilled into us how important it is to have savings from when we started earning our own money at 14, for when we were older, and at the time I didn't really understand what I was saving for, but now I'm older and looking at houses I'm so happy they were like they were!

Hey, not been on at all this week so I've definitely missed a lot in the thread since then. AF was back to been a 3 day rather than 5 day again this month so I have no idea what's going on with my cycle. According to the app I'm using my fertile window starts tomorrow. DH has been warned 😂.

This week I've been swinging between been desperate for another baby and feeling like the world is a bloody scary place right now and thinking maybe now isn't the best time. I don't want to put my life on hold because of Covid but between AF last weekend and work been crazy this week (I'm a teacher) I feel so drained by it all.
