New thread just in case the old one gets full and we lose each other!

At showed up for me today on day 49 😤 I will be seeing the gp this week as suspect pcos. What tests do they carry out for this?

@Lolajames sorry about af :( what makes you think pcos?
To get a diagnosis you need to have 2/3 of these criteria:
-blood test indicating hormone imbalance specific to pcos

• irregular periods
• ultrasound showing cysts

Some gp's like mine are very quick to diagnose, others know nothing about pcos and don't realise hormones and cysts come and go so often miss the opportunity to diagnose properly. I was lucky as I have all 3. Worth speaking to them though x

@xoJellyBean I have been trying for 7 months now 🙈 silly me thought it would happen straight away 🙄🤦 just need to be patient and stop stressing about it! Easier said than done tho isn't it xx

@Skl2021 100% easier said than done. Two of my friends just had babies this week so I'm really feeling it guys 🥲🥲

@xoJellyBean so hard isn't it 😩💔 we will get our time! 💕 I'm doing ok don't want to dwell on it to much as it's gets me down. I'm cd 6 today so thinking of what to do or try this month but I'm not sure what I can do 🤦 this will be my last month ttc I think so I can take a bit of a break. Where are you in your cycle xx

@Skl2021 Really hope we do 🥰 I think I'm around CD9 but I can't be sure... will start OPKs in the next few days! A break is good sometimes, I have had a few breathers over the months ☺️ are you temping and using OPKs this month? Xx

Also unsure if it's relevant but... I was taking my seven seas tablet yesterday and just happened to be bored and started reading the ingredients. Seven seas has so much less in them that pregnacare! Sometimes up to 4x less 😯 I'm now thinking it was all too much for my body 🤣 glad I made the switch!

@xoJellyBean no I haven't bought anything to temp. I might start if it doesn't happen this month after IV had a break. I take a few vitamins and I use opks that's all I'm doing for now. I don't usually ovulate until mid twenties so I have a couple of weeks to wait yet 🤦 hate the wait lol 🙈 xx

@Skl2021 I only just started back to temping :) and my temp is much higher than a couple of months ago! So interesting though. I'm roughly the same as you, earliest I've had recently was cd18 🤞🏻we can get through it together xx

@xoJellyBean when do u usually start the opks? I keep starting early as I don't want to miss it but I'm going through so many of them each month 🤣🙈 can't help myself xz

@Skl2021 I started yesterday - I am CD11 and look at this! Would you say that's a positive? What the hell 🤯

Hi girls i hope you don't mind me joining, so mines abit complicated, started ttc August 2020 fell pregnant November 2020 all seemed great, at my scan at 12.5 weeks had my worst nightmare and told I've had a missed miscarriage, started miscarrying naturally but due to complications needed a d&c week later, after a 2 months still hadn't had a period took a test as was told too turned out i was pregnant but was short lived as my hcg was too low and not progressing few weeks later i miscarried at 6 weeks. been ttc since and no luck so far, then period just gone became extreme passed a lump ended by needing to have a internal scan only to be told i had retained product from miscarriage and the lump that came away as split my uterus ( i know talk about bad luck) also mentioned if had that for last few months may of been the cause not managed to implant as been blocked, so hopefully got a new start now, anyhow after healing I'm doing much better and hoping this is our month, was also my due date of first pregnancy yesterday and could really do with some luck i think. also get married in 31/2 weeks and BFP would just be the best wedding gift i can give my husband, weve decided not to track this cycle hopefully a more relaxed approach will help. heres to tttc our double rainbow. good luck all. xxxxx

@LeeTTCRainbow so sorry you have had such a hard journey! Cant imagine everything you have been through. Congratulations on the up coming wedding! A bfp would be excellent for you a perfect wedding gift 🤞 IV got everything crossed for you!! Hopefully the no stress of tracking will get you that bfp 🙌🙌 were abouts are you in your cycle are you near ovulation? Xx

@Skl2021 I had a chemical last cycle so no not pregnant. I'm so confused!! Just got my peak this evening 🤞🏻xx

@Skl2021 I've been on seven seas conception for a month now 😊 that's literally the only thing lol also trying to be more positive 🤞🏻 should I be worried?? Lol. Have you started OPKs yet xx

@Skl2021 thank you for your message yes it has been tough since January tbh but being able to finally get our wedding now (postponed from last year) is helping as just felt our life was on hold was a horrid feeling when couldn't have the wedding and lost our baby felt useless sadly.

Yes so ovulation is due around this weekend, but we have just been bd every other day so hopefully cover until AF is due, awkward as works out AF is due weekend of wedding typical, heres hoping it doesnt show. xx
