@Newbie0818 That's so nice to hear, thank you! When you say temping do you mean checking my temp every morning? (Sorry I'm not up to date with the lingo yet 🙈). If that's what you mean then no, I haven't tried it... I might start though! What sort of thermometer would I need? Are there any you'd recommend?

Had a bit of a bleed this morning so have an early scan tomorrow to check what’s going on. Feel so sick with anxiety :(

@Pol96 thanks. No more bleeding so fingers crossed. Scan is at 2:50 today so I’ll update after that :) I’ll only be 6+3 so not expecting to see a huge amount I’m just hoping my little bean is doing okay in there

@justlonelystars I have everything crossed for you. I've seen many posts about bleeding in pregnancy and at 6+3 it could quite possibly be a bit of implantation bleeding. Really hope the scan goes well and you get to see your healthy sticky bean xx

@Newbie0818 I don’t know yet but I’ve been saying “him” because “it” feels too impersonal! I suspect he’s a boy though but whether I’m right or not, who knows!

@justlonelystars you could be right.. I didn't realise I started saying he until a friend pointed it out.. And we've had 3 scans all confirming boy!

How long does everyone's peak OPKs usually last? I've been getting pretty strong peaks for the past 36 hours and I'm not sure if that's normal? My temp rise from a couple of weeks ago must have been due to the cold I had, it returned to normal after a couple of days and has sat there. Hoping to see a rise over the next couple of days and this is actually ovulation this time!

@Neurotic90 sorry, I thought I'd replied last night but it must have deleted my message!
Some people can have longer lh rises, is just keep DTD and I'm sure you'll see a change soon.

Girls I'm feeling crappy about ttc now :( trying not to be so negative but I'm a bit fed up of having such a rubbish body that doesn't do what it's supposed to! I'm cd12 today and just wish I was going into the fw like a normal woman would be 😫 I'm so bored of it all and don't even feel like we're trying for anything as it always ends up in af. How do you ladies keep yourself out of the ttc funk?

Hope it’s ok for my to join, I’m a long time long-cycler recently been put on to metformin. This is our first metformin TTC cycle and ‘think’ I’m currently 5dpo but who knows eh? Been temping for a few months now to get a feel for my crazy cycle so hopefully will get somewhere soon. Ovulation ‘seems’ to be confirmed with a temp rise along with a static smiley so promising signs! Hope it’s ok for me to chip in, just nice to be around others in the same boat x

Oh no @Newbie0818, I'm fairly new still to this but I can understand how you feel. I never once expected TTC to be this all consuming. I can feel your pain with the long cycles too, I'm day 51 at the moment and no ovulation confirmed yet although I'm hoping it was today. Be kind to yourself ❤.

Thanks for the advice, my OPKs have went from peak to high this afternoon so hoping this is it and not another false alarm. I think if we have no luck this cycle I'll need to contact the GP, really suspect PCOS might be the issue and think at 13 months off the pill I'd have a regular cycle by now if it was going to happen.
