TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

@SRyellow I try to but my son had his immunisations this week and has been poorly and up in the night frequently so I end up not having solid chunks of time before taking the temp, or I get up to sort him out at 5am and then only end up remembering to temp as I get back into bed 🤦🏼‍♀️ So any reliability in that is out the window this month. Ah well. Nevermind! I know that we should have caught the fertile week if there IS a fertile week this month..so just gotta keep dtd and cross fingers!

Well I caved and tested at 8DPO. BFN. AF due around the 4th x

@sohe sorry its a bfn but hopefully just too early. Are you going to test again or wait to see if af shows? I said I'd try and wait until Wednesday to test but I will be 10dpo Monday and know I will cave and do it then.

@chillichutneysarnie I'm with you on that. Luckily my husband has been off this week which has helped make this week go quicker and take my mind off the 2ww a bit.

Hi guys, I'm so confused... AF came as normal this month and I'm now on CD13. However, though it was really strange that I haven't had even the tiniest bit of ewcm! (I usually ovulate cd10-cd12) I get ovulation pains so know when it's happening, have had mild pains but not my normal full on ovulation pains yet. Got up this morning to go pee and felt a little wet. Thought oh good must be ewcm. I wiped it was a load of light pink mucus! There was a small bit in my pants too. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on? I also have had a really sore head for nearly a week now, feels like pressure in my head and starting to affect my ears too. It's making me feel a bit nauseous too. Thought it was a sinus/ear infection until I wiped this morning and then thought maybe it's all related.

I should have said AF was early, only 25 day cycle. I'm normally 27/28, odd time 26 days.

@Dogmum13 perhaps you had failed implantation? I've had it several times when my period comes early. I'm not sure why you'd then get pinky mucus now but perhaps that's ovulation this month? 🤷‍♀️x

@Bmegga Yeah I never get anything around ovulation. Once had a tiny streak of dark brown but this was a lot of pink like what I would get before my period and can't shift these headaches 😔

Also my ovulation is so painful that my who abdomen feels bruised and dtd is very uncomfortable but haven't had any of that yet 🤔

My friend just announced her pregnancy last night and I am not sure if that's why or that I'm 2 DPO but I felt rubbish this morning. Happy for them but felt a twinge of jealousy if I'm honest, which is really unlike me.

Anyway I'm feeling a bit better this afternoon. When do you test? I'm symptom spotting a lot and only 2 DPO!!!!! How am I going to survive this 2ww!

Morning everyone!

I'm 8dpo AF is due Saturday but I have work up with really bad lower back pains, have had them for a day or two but I am really struggling. And I've had cramps but hard to explain they feel different to AF cramps. I know it's too early for symptoms so am I just imagining.

Please can someone humour me and list the acronyms and their meanings please so I can follow what is being said haha. New to all this and have worked a few out but can’t understand most posts lol. Thanks in advance xxx

I don't think I know a lot of them either but the basics:
AF - Aunt Flow
DPO - days post ovulation
EWCM - egg white cervical mucus
MC - miscarriage
DTD - did the deed
OPK - ovulation predictor kit
DS - dear son
DD - dear daughter

Errrrr I'm sure there are more but I can't think!

2ww - 2 week wait

CD - cycle day

BFN - big fat negative pregnancy test
BFP - big fat positive pregnancy test

FRER - First Response Early Result pregnancy test
OH - Other Half

FMU - first morning urine

Is anyone good at understanding OPKs? I’m really confused this cycle.

@Prettygreeneyes97 you never know, both times I've been pregnant I had symtoms the week before AF so you never know 🤞 I'm getting them again this month so we shall see.

@dogmum13 how are you feeling now? Assume your last period was fairly normal, just a bit early?

Hi mine has been similar , I had a mc few months ago so cycle been all over. Iv not had EWCM since mc , how old are you ? Are your periods regular? Xx

@Figarosbow yeah pretty normal. Haven't had anymore pink so don't know what it was. No ewcm either which is really strange for me

@MgW1 I'm 28. Yes like clockwork. I have been referred for suspected endo though due to severe ovulation pain and pain on and off throughout the whole month
