TTC November Bus

Bmeggar · 23/10/2020 08:25

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.
Sending baby dust to everyone! Summer babes for us all round Smile

@gracie2307
I dont have a clue - my first day AF is only light spotting but i count it as CD 1 this month. Last month I peaked CD 16 but as my 1st day this month was barely anything I may get peak on cD 17? Who knows ?! Enjoy your gin and count it as day 1 🤣 xx

keepingfaithandhope · 17/11/2020 21:16

@sunshineandshowers3 😂 yes that's a nice balance.

No I haven't as I hardly drink + never smoked. One thing I've done tho, I use vitamins everyday. Prior to TTC I didn't. How about u?

Dogmum13 · 17/11/2020 21:36

@gracie2307 I'm just dreading af showing up because I really will give up on symptom spotting if she does and be rather annoyed that I've just been teased 🙈 think I will test either tomorrow or Thursday. I have one frer at home. I just need to know either way at this stage

SRyellow · 17/11/2020 21:46

@gracie2307 a lot of Netflix distractions and long walks! Very busy at work so that helps to make the day go quicker!

I did SMEP this month, it was pretty full on but the break days help lol X

MgW1 · 17/11/2020 21:58

@Dogmum13
Do you still have sore boobs ? During my pregnancies mine were sore before AF due , always tender walking up and down stairs! Good luck with testing xx

Dogmum13 · 17/11/2020 22:13

@MgW1 yes! Noticed them sore running down the stairs earlier. They get sore like this at ov but it usually stops after a few days

MgW1 · 17/11/2020 22:21

@Dogmum13
Good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻xx

Dogmum13 · 17/11/2020 22:24

Thanks 🙂

Markygirl1995 · 18/11/2020 08:29

I think I'm actually out this month, I have no feelings that I could be, cervix position feels ready for AF and another BFN

PurplePops · 18/11/2020 09:10

Anyone else around CD17? Got my peak ovulation test today so got the dreaded 2ww to look forward to! Xx

MgW1 · 18/11/2020 09:50

CD14
I think i should peak on fri.
Good luck xx

SRyellow · 18/11/2020 10:45

I don’t think I can last much longer without testing. I’ve had a temp dip today and lower backache still there - does anyone get that before AF or has anyone had before BFP. I don’t remember it before.

mommyofone2019 · 18/11/2020 11:10

@SRyellow how many dpo are you? When is af due?
I'm 9DPO today. Was going to test tomorrow using a frer but I think I'm going to hold off until Friday x

SRyellow · 18/11/2020 11:18

@mommyofone2019 I’m 11dpo didn’t plan on testing this cycle and thought I’d wait and see but getting impatient. Usually af comes between 12-14dpo x

sunshineandshowers3 · 18/11/2020 13:52

@keepingfaithandhope Yes I was never a big drinker and never smoked anyway. Healthy weight and my fiancé is the same.

Don’t take vitamins though...which do you take? And do you mix it up the time of day you DTD? So many articles say morning sex is best for swimmers but we’ve never been a couple to have much morning sex (and definitely not unless it’s the weekend!)

keepingfaithandhope · 18/11/2020 15:10

@sunshineandshowers3 hi . I take the seven seas " trying for a baby" vitamins as it's got great reviews and I used them first time I tried to get pregnant when I was 30 and they went down well with me. I got pregnant 2nd month trying at the time. They are easy to swallow & contain the recommended folic acid for women who are trying to conceive. I take them first thing in morning.

Oh I didn't know about that @ best in morning. Mmm..even if I did it will be hard due to work 😂😂

keepingfaithandhope · 18/11/2020 15:13

@sunshineandshowers3 was actually 29. I miscalculated😃

SunnydazeQ · 18/11/2020 16:42

@Halli2020 so sorry to hear about your ectopic. I hope it gets easier from here for you with a BFP!

Hi @MgW1 how are you today? My peaks are now later than normal after the MC in Sep. We started the SMEP and on CD10 today I tested anyway and it was a solid O even though I knew it was early. I normally test from CD11. Anyway we'll see how it goes this month. Will definitely look into the chasterberry for sure. x

@SRyellow oh not long until you test. How are you feeling? I still early in the cycle at CD10. However I have been suffering from lower back ache which is a first around not for me. Fingers crossed for you xx

@XPeach123 I hope it's good new for you xx

@Bmeggar I really hope your BFP surprises you this month! We can cheers with a non alcoholic beer :) xx I feel the same though, don't want to TTC during Dec when we should have some cheer, we deserve it. xx

@gracie2307 Hi Gracie so lovely to hear that you are doing better :) I will definitely get chasteberry tablets. Maca powder is from Peru and it is meant to boost fertility. A number of videos I watched on Youtube talked about how good it is. You are thinking about matcha tea :) I bought the powder of amazon and use it in both DH and mine breakfast smoothies. So far so good for SMEP - Day 10 tonight. BTW the fertility channels I follow, say your CD1 is the day you have a full bleed. Hope that helps. xx

@Dogmum13 let us know how you get on. x

gln1989 · 18/11/2020 16:45

Hi Ladies,

This is my 2nd month ttc. last month i was not expecting to get pregnant even though i was using the clearblue opk but this month is weird, i had really sensitive nipples and felt tired but not exhausted, bloating, getting random headaches and dizzy spells! i got my period (or atleast i thought it was) 3 days early and it was like a normal period except it had at one point a real stringy clot - sorry if this is TMI, "period" lasted around 5 days but only heavy for the first 24-48 hours. i decided this month i was going to test my fertile window early so i can be sure the app was accurate and i got a flashing smiley face 3 days after any bleeding stopped? I have this morning got a flashing smiley face which means i am in "high fertility" window. I am confused because last month i had my fertile window later.

Should i be rushing to the store to get a pregnancy test or could it just be that i am going to ovulate early this month? I am soooo confused.

We have been doing the baby dance every couple of days to try and increase our chances.

Thanks ladies, good luck to all xx

XPeach123 · 18/11/2020 16:59

Evening all.
Blood test results day... All fine minus prolactin levels being high usually caused by stress and/or lack of sleep.

Now handing over the baton to DH for his test to be done and come back before we make the next contact with our GP.

lulahloo · 18/11/2020 17:03

@gln1989
What contraception were you using before ?
I had my copper coil (so no hormones) removed, then my period arrived on time 10 days later, and was normal, if slightly shorter than usual.
Into the next month and we DTD every day, I had a lot of nausea, sore breasts (normal for me before AF) real tiredness And mood swings from the middle of my cycle. Did a couple of tests, all BFN.
My AF arrived with spotting the evening before my app said it was due, the next day was more and with, like you, slightly stringy/clotted blood. Two days and it was gone. I’ve never had a period so short in my entire life. I tested today about lunch time (BFN) and pretty much all those symptoms have faded so I have no idea what is going on with my body.

gln1989 · 18/11/2020 17:22

I was on the ovranette pill but I stopped taking that kn April to give my body time to get a proper cycle we just used condoms instead.

I'm just not too sure why my fertile window is a couple of days after my period has finished. I've never had this before.

Sunflowers81 · 18/11/2020 17:25

Hey @gracie2307 how are you? Sorry to hear that af arrived. I would count day 1 as when you started full on bleeding.
I'm surviving, still really really sad about the house. AF arrived on Saturday. DH is feeling better, which I'm really pleased about, I was really nervous for him, especially as his colleague was hospitalised for a while. Isolation ends for us tomorrow, so he is going back to work, and although I have been working from home a bit, I am going back in to the office tomorrow too.
I've been how you were with pms, but mine is before, during and after my period, I just keep crying about the house. I know life goes this way, things do go wrong and seem hopeless, but I do know that it goes the other way too, and things will turn around for me, and for you too.
In the meantime I am very grateful for everything that I do have. I remind myself that the things I have now are things which I have been longing for in the past, so I feel very lucky.
Is your work ok now, you mentioned that it was stressful?

sunshineandshowers3 · 18/11/2020 18:50

@keepingfaithandhope Did you have any side effects with seven seas? I had really awful almost daily migraines when I took them so had to stop unfortunately 😟.

Yeah quite a few studies say that sperm count is higher in the morning. We’re more a late afternoon/evening couple though.

I’ve been trying the whole ‘legs up the hall for half an hour after’ the past couple of months to no avail though!

Markygirl1995 · 18/11/2020 18:57

Guys anyone experience extreme tiredness before af or ep
