TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Hello AF! Start of a new cycle and a 2 month TTC break... gutted.

@Emc16x what CD are you on? I had this with the digital from CD10. I gave up testing after a week. Then ovulated a whole week after that. I think I had a false surge but didn’t release an egg so my body tried again a week later. X

Once you get a flashy smiley, it can’t go back to not flashing if your LH goes back down. X

@emc16x have you got any cheapies to do along side it?
Well I don’t know what is going on with my O dates. Just done my morning OPK and it’s almost positive. Don’t think it’s quite there yet but probably will be in the next 12 or so hours. Will recheck later. I have drank loads of water all week and still doesn’t look like I’m getting any EWCM again! Also only CD11 so if this is the surge then it’s looking like O May come forward again to CD 12. I just don’t know what to think to be honest! What do you guys think? When we started TTC my O was around CD14/15. Had the two chemicals and since then one month was CD14, then CD 13. Worried CD 12 is too early. I’m glad I continued temping this cycle! X

@MgW1 have you found it helps? What dose do you take? Iv been reading about it but the information out there is so confusing I give up researching after about half an hour. Iv not had any EWCM since my last chemical. X

@Sohe. I ovulated on about cycle day 10/11 when I conceived my son so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It’s only a couple of days out. X

Its my first month trying it. So dont know yet - i havent had any for 4 months since mc - must be a hormonal thing? X

Hey @SparkyLauz how are you? Sorry AF has arrived. Looks like I will be joining you on the Dec bus. Only 11dpo today but AF has arrived. Really thought my accupuncture was going to make a difference this month. Im gutted, I dont know what else to try. Might follow SMEP next cycle. Been recommended chasteberry as a supplement to help lutueal cycles etc anyone heard of this? Xx

@MgW1 both clear blue. The purple one tracks estrogen and LH - so that would make sense. The pink test was the only one left in my drawer so thought I’d double test today just in case. So weird that it’s negative.

@MamaPheebz sorry to hear about AF! I’m just crossing everything that the next two months are stress free for you...and hopefully you’ll get w surprise next year.

I’m CD16 but my last two cycles were 36 days and 30 days. My flo app has said for the last two cycles that I’ve ovulated on CD16/17 so could be correct? I just have always given up testing by this point in the past. Maybe I ovulate late?

Didn’t know you could get false surges? Why is this whole thing so confusing

@Sohe I had one left but opened it this morning and it’s broken. So don’t think it will work! Maybe try evening primrose? I’ve never heard taking that to help but sounds good! Sorry about your cms!

Hey @Dogmum13 I must admit I'm not great today. Think AF has arrived. So all week my cramps and emotional crying have clearly all been PMS. Before we started TTCing, I never really experienced PMS stuff. Its so confusing as to how much is actually good fertility things happening or whether it is just pre AF related. Didnt help when DH said this morning: 'I didnt think it would take us this long'. Made me burst out crying. He didn't mean it in a nasty way, I think he is just trying to process it but it cut deep. How are you today? Xx

@gracie2307 I had pains yesterday same as those I sometimes get before af so reckon she'll be here soon. Keep telling myself I'm out this month so I hopefully won't be too disappointed. Today would normally be my due day but because I ov'd really late my app changed it to Wednesday so now don't know what to do about testing 🙈

So I ended up drinking rather a lot of wine yesterday, then freaked out this morning that my period STILL hadn't arrived. Another pregnancy test today - another bfn. Really fancied a beer just now but still no period! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Poured it anyway, had a wee, one more pregs test for good measure, and a TINY bit of colour when I wiped. I think period is finally coming! 🙌 I'm not happy about it but once i know it's not successful (which I was confident it wasn't seeing as I ovulated later and completely missed it) I just want period to come so we can get cracking again.
Feeling positive for this next month trying the SMEP. I'm so encouraged by all the bfp this group has seen this month. May many more continue!
TTC is hard and really can exhaust even the most patient of people. But let's keep happy and optimistic together. We WILL get there. We will have a little bub in our arms one day soon, I just know it. Sending strength and continued positivity to you all xx

@bmeggar you've got an awesome attitude. We are going to try SMEP this month (shifts permitting)
