Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.
Sending baby dust to everyone! Summer babes for us all round Smile

@SRyellow I only got positives after taking tips on here. Pee hold for 3 hours minimum and no drinks for 3 hours minimum, and test multiple times a day.

Ells19962000 · 10/11/2020 15:54

Hi guys, last posted on here when I was only 6dpo. I am not 13dpo and today is my AF day, however it hasnt come! I took a test yesterday and I really cant tell if it is an evap or a faint positive. It only just shows up on the picture.

Although not sure I'm wishful thinking and imagining a line!

GeorgiaMcGraw · 10/11/2020 16:13

@Ells19962000 fingers crossed for you. Have you any more tests you could take, see if there's a line?

Ells19962000 · 10/11/2020 16:16

I only have a digital one and to scared to test at the moment! May wait 3 more days to see if AF is genuinely just late! These are the pictures. 1 as normal and the other I've changed the colour. It is a squinter!

@Ells19962000
I know its hard ( been there myself)but wait!
Hcg doubles every 48 - 72 hrs so wait 2 days. 🤞🏻xx

GeorgiaMcGraw · 10/11/2020 16:40

Yes @MGw1 is right of course (I'm saying this after testing 3 days early like an eejit and getting a BFN).

Sunflowers81 · 10/11/2020 17:02

@SunnydazeQ that top is so lovely! What a wonderful idea! Well done on learning to crochet!
Yes it will happen for you 💖

Ells19962000 · 10/11/2020 17:03

Thank you @GeorgiaMcGraw and @MgW1! I'll take one in 3 days then. are the clear blue digital ones as sensitive? Hoping if its 3 days after I'm due AF, it should pick up by then if I'm pregnant or not?
I havent read the comments as WAYY too many to read, but have you guys had your BFP's yet? If so congratulations! What were your symptoms and when did you find out?
If you havent conceived yet, sending babydust!!

Sunflowers81 · 10/11/2020 17:11

Hey @gracie2307, thank you, thankfully his symptoms are mild at the moment, he has a cough and a tight chest, and needs to nap in the day.
Yes, as I didn't have to isolate at all when he was just staying at home because of test and trace, but now I have to do 14 days since his symptoms started. 9 days to go!
Fingers crossed for the good cramps!
😂 I LOVE the sound of bitch and stitch with @SunnydazeQ too!
Your throw sounds amazing! Which colour did you choose?
I think you will get your perfect 30th birthday present 🥰. Xx

MgW1 · 10/11/2020 17:17

@Ells19962000
Defo wait and see because they are expensive! If you have amazon prime then the one step hcg strips are sensitive. Good luck hun its a nerve wracking wait 😘 xx

MgW1 · 10/11/2020 17:18

@gracie2307
Yes ordered from amazon. Im currently cd 6 today so think il test cd 11 or 12? Usually 30 day cycle xx

MgW1 · 10/11/2020 17:19

@GeorgiaMcGraw
I have been there too! Wont be testing early again and the tests are expensive !! X

NamechangeTTC · 10/11/2020 20:08

I’m so crampy today but it’s far too early! Ugh.

Markygirl1995 · 10/11/2020 20:38

I had thick cm today not sure what that means 🤷🏻‍♀️ how is everyone getting on in the 2ww. I still get a few twinges but nothing cramping at all

NatMoz · 10/11/2020 20:51

I don't know what I should expect really.

Been trying since June and I'm 31 (attempting first child).

My period is due in 2 days. I did get very brief spotting about a week ago. Not sure if this is anything? Never had it before, no idea why. I've had a few cramps, not sure if it's period pains though.

I feel like I'm such a novice and don't know the signs to look out for at all.

GeorgiaMcGraw · 10/11/2020 21:31

Hi @NatMoz. Pink/red spotting briefly anywhere between 6 and 12 days post ovulation can be a sign of a fertilised egg implanting in the womb, so could be that. That in itself isn't a definite sign of pregnancy, I had it first month of trying and still had my period later. Fingers crossed for you.

Dogmum13 · 10/11/2020 22:28

@SunnydazeQ yes I literally don't know what to do for the best 🙈

NamechangeTTC · 10/11/2020 23:02

@NatMoz that could be a good sign

SarahMumof1DS · 10/11/2020 23:10

Hi @Bmeggar @SunnydazeQ thanks for your messages. Yeah basically we thought DH had a mini stroke back in September and he's had to wait 8 weeks to get some clarification as to what happened. The neurologist finally explained that he believes it was a electrical disturbance in his brain and that it may or may not happen again. He's got to keep his stress levels down and slowly get back normal life. If it happens again we've got to document it as well as get him medical attention. The good thing is he's mostly back to his old self with just a few limitations atm. He gets tired easily and has sensory overload that can lead to him being agitated or stressed in certain situations. So ttc is off the table and obviously I'm just thankful that he's doing as well as he is at this point, but also part of me is upset that we won't be in a position to talk about ttc indefinitely and I just didn't ever want to be older (I'm 37 in February) and trying to have a sibling for our DS. He already wears me out and I'm not feeling as young as I did as well as my biological clock ticking away. It's just not ideal but if It doesn't happen for us then I'll just be grateful we have our DS. In the meantime yeah I'm just trying relax without the ttc stress but equally feeling stressed every time I think about not being able to even try indefinitely. Thank goodness for you lot and the counselling as I can't talk to DH about it. x

Helena86 · 11/11/2020 06:26

Gave in and just done a test. No line. But equally no period yet. Presuming I am out of the game for this month 😔 ugh.

Bmeggar · 11/11/2020 06:45

Awwww @SarahMumof1DS that is rough. So sorry to hear you and your hubby are going through all that. What a bloody worry for you both. So pleased your husband is doing a bit better though. Have doctors advised against dtd? I can totally appreciate not wanting the stress of ttc but perhaps just having unprotected sex when the mood takes you, might end up resulting in a bubs anyway?
Try not to worry about the age thing either. My 39yr old friend started trying at the same time I did (I'm 36) and she's already well on her way in pregnancy now. And my own mother was 42 when she had my now 26yr old brother! The sonographer I saw when getting checked out told me not to be concerned about my age until I was 40.
I totally understand wanting a sibling for your ds. I feel exactly the same about my 4yr old. He keeps asking me if I can make a baby in my tummy and tells me he'd be the best big brother 😩😩😩😩😩 But ultimately I know that having me and his dad and a happy healthy home is more important than a sibling (who he'll most likely dislike after the novelty has worn off as it will steal all of his attention!). Keep the faith, it WILL happen. It's just a case of biding our time till it does. Sending hugs xxx

AF is here for me, a day early. I've had a couple of months where I've had implantation bleeds/pain, sore breasts and dizziness etc but still had my period. Has anybody else had that? Should I be worried i have some kind of unfriendly womb just booting my fertilised egg out after a few days? Good luck and baby dust to all of you x

Dogmum13 · 11/11/2020 08:56

@GeorgiaMcGraw I've had 2 months where my boobs are sore and heavier than normal after o. So sore I can hardly move. I have been wondering because its only happened twice in 11 months could it be implantation that didn't stay long enough to know

Cienega · 11/11/2020 09:09

Hi all,
I had mentioned I had a whole day of what I was certain was implantation pain on Monday, I was trying not to test til at least Friday to give my body a chance to make more hcg in my urine, but I buckled this morning and took a FRER
I can't unsee this curios line! It's like the second line started at the bottom but didn't quite make it any further?? It came up within the 3 mins and it wasn't on the test before I took it.
Can you see it or am I losing it?

Hi all

After some advice. I’m on day 4 of high fertility from my clear blue opks but no peak yet. Do you know how long it’ll be to peak? What’s the longest people have had ‘high fertility’ for?

@Cienega I do see a slight shadow of a line to the left! I think you should wait a few more days and test again! Fingers crossed! Xx
