TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Not sure. BBT can mean something but those aren’t hugely accurate sometimes

Hi All, haven't been on here for a while so think I have missed a lot. Sorry if I haven't replied to any messages.
Many congrats to those who got their BFP's! It's so good to see.
I had a meltdown last week and got some counselling so things getting better. I don't think DH is going to be in a place to ttc for a while so just have to put my mind elsewhere. I may have to take a break from the forum for my sanity but I don't want to miss seeing all your progress and successes.

I hope everyone is doing ok and wishing you all continued baby sprinkles. xx

@Cienega yes an elevated temp can be a sign of early pregnancy but only when it's high at 16dpo onwards - basically bbt should drop when you get your period so if it doesn't drop then there's a good chance you're pregs..but a pregnancy test will be able to confirm it earlier x

@SarahMumof1DS I hope you're ok. I totally missed the chat about you're OH. I hope he's ok?? So sorry you're feeling rotten but really pleased you had some counselling and it's helped a little. Hang in there. Putting things on hold until the new year might be a good thing. - you can just relax and focus on you and your health/happiness. I think I may do the same tbh.x

@MamaPheebz I'm with you! My opks and temps all over the place too. My app updated to say I ovulated 3 days later than normal but I ran out of opks and son was ill so was up in the night, so Everything just an inaccurate mess this month! think I missed my window altogether potentially 🤦🏼‍♀️ So frustrating! My last cycle was much shorter than normal post mc so I'm hoping this month it has just been sorting instead out prior to being back on track next month 🤞🤞🤞

Was impatient and took a FRER this morning amd it was negative, had a feel for CP again this morning and still really high and very soft but since then Iv had a little bit of pinky red blood when I wipe and some cramps. Due on Friday so would assume a FRER would have shown positive by now if I was. Have popped a pad on and will see what happens!

@ToriD07 🤞 still not out yet. Maybe if no af try again tomorrow?

Does anyone know re Opks, if you always have Lh baseline? I’ve had my peak (I know I should stop testing but just wanted to see) - anything to try to pass the 2ww quicker! I’ve attached a photo x

@SRyellow I will try and wait till Friday to test again to avoid that disappointing one line
My LH a sticks look very similar, I had a peak (my app said 178% two days ago I haven’t tested again since as hoped that was maybe picking up hcg
But mine tends to run high most my cycle and then peaks on CD 12-13
Iv read though that you should test in the afternoon and not morning, Iv Ben using FMU all this time

@ToriD07 I wonder if you could be earlier dpo than you think? Might explain the negative as I’m only 3dpo based on my peak.

I’m just secretly hoping hcg too but I’d doesn’t look like it. I usually try to test around midday but sometimes it gets the better of me and I get impatient x

I am testing mine to see what it does for full cycle @SRyellow as I give up at peak!

@SRyellow with my other babies I didn’t get a positive untill the day of my missed period or day before but then Iv not tried to test any earlier with a FRER before. My previous children are with my ex husband my current partner now doesn’t have any children and is so excited at the thought of having a child of his own. He loves mine like his own anyway bless him but would love a mini him as much as I would. He’s working away now untill Friday so I will try hold out and test again with him as he wants to be involved in every little bit love him. How have you been feeling? Are you symptom spotting like me 🙈 x

Update: more fresh red blood when wiped after a wee :( think the wicked Witch has arrived early! Really thought this was our month :(
Think I’ll try a be a bit more relaxed about it from now on as stressing over it can’t help

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing good?

So initially my period prediction was for today, it moved back when my ovulation day was later in my cycle. This is the first time I've tracked ovulation and my cycle is always usually bang on at 27 days.

So question is do I hold out to new predicted period date or test? If so any recommendations on test please?

@ToriD07 bless him, I’m sure a little mini me will come. That’s a good sign if you didn’t get a positive with your other babies until then. The waiting to test is just so hard!

Were ttc for our first so it’s all a bit unknown for symptoms but so far I feel nothing but I guess you wouldn’t 3dpo. We just feel so ready, this is cycle 6 but at the same time it’s taken me that long to work out what I should be doing. I feel hopeful for this month as we stuck to the SMEP but trying not to get my hopes up too much! x

@NamechangeTTC the peak is pretty illusive, I’ve managed to find it 3 out of 6 cycles so I have 50% success rate lol x

@MgW1 all good today thanks. I am with you and feeling positive. I am so happy I am not as bloated as I was on Friday. Had pizza and wine last night so was very happy. Hope your AF is disappearing already. Are you trying the SMEP this cycle? xx

@gracie2307 and @Sunflowers81 I also learnt to crochet during the first lockdown but can only do flower pot covers hahaha We should definitely post photos of our handiwork.

When I found out I was pregnant a couple months ago, I bought a PJ set with the top saying Arriving 2021 and sewed on the crocheted bits with Baby above and our surname below the arriving bit. I walked in the living room where my husband was watching TV, he asked me question, did a double take and saw the top. It was such a lovely moment planning our future but I still wear the top and have faith it will happen again.

Time to start learning new designs LOL

Hi , glad your feeling a bit better. On CD 6. Im trying evening primrose oil and ordered some cb opks - digital 4 day ones to double check im ovulating following mc - i almost certain i did last month but it was first proper month of trying and those cheapie opk arent easy , dont know if my urine was concentrated enough. Im keeping pregnancy test out of the house, promised myself il wait til 2 days late to take a test in future. But yes all in all im feeling ok , i arent trying SMEP because its a bit much us. Iv managed to get pregnant without such a rigorous sex programme....frankly i just cant be arsed!! Also got some pre - seed , read some great reviews on that xx

It will deffo happen again hun. Just keep thinking that your body is recovering and getting those nutrional reserves up , thats what I think after my mc , and it needs that time because you want a healthy pregnancy hun 🤞🏻xxx

Hi @Sunflowers81 how are you? Im so sorry to see your DH had a positive coronavirus test! Do you have to isolate longer now? That is a good idea to do a countdown to the testing date thank you 😊 I'm feeling a bit of cramping today, hoping its the good kind and not some bizarre PMS symptoms over a week before AF is due 😄 xxx

@Sunflowers81 and @SunnydazeQ We can set up a TTC Bitch and Stitch group haha 🤣 I made a big chunky throw with arm crocheting the other week with big merino wool, was so fun!

Hi @MgW1 keeping the tests out of the house is the best thing to do. Unfortunately I just ordered some FRER and CB digitals as I thought I was pregnant Will ask hubby to hide them but I still have the cheap ones off Amazon which I will definitely use. We also use preseed and I hear you on the rigorous of all these methods but I reckon it will be less than we did last month as I got so many High Fertile days. The CB digital OPKs are the best and I still have from my last order in Sep. Fingers crossed for us hey! xx

@SunnydazeQ In my Fertility Friends app, it tells you an estimate of if you conceived when your due date would be and I saw it today and was like 'please be this month' 🤞🤞

Haha 😄 I like the name too! Can't take credit, I think there is a book called it but I always wanted to set up a group like that.
