TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Iv downloaded premom app and ordering this the easy@home thermometer from amazon its the one at £15.99 , there is a more expensive blue tooth one but i am not bothered for blue tooth. Xx

@MgW1 ahh okay I will look into that one! Defo agree with you about wine and takeaway this weekend if AF arrives 😂

@MgW1 definitely feel like lockdown is going to make it harder, was hoping the build up to xmas would take my mind off it.

Sorry to hear you got a BFN, its not over until AF arrives tho so fingers crossed for you. Im going to be indulging in lots of wine and chocolate tonight haha xx

This is first cycle TTC and I already feel super anxious and don’t want to share with friends abs family yet that we are trying.
I have been off the pill for 6 months and have had EWCM on say 14 every month but this month I don’t have any?? Feeling stressed!
Has anyone else had anything similar?

@Fisheries345 yes, I had sticky cm a couple if days ago but no positive opk yet. I'm on CD 15 so I hope I get a line 3 days otherwise I'm out this month and missed my O day

Welcome to my world ! 3 months of no ewcm! Mine is all hormone related cos had a miscarriage at end of first trimester but its frustrating. It could be down to you coming off the pill, stress or just a random off month. I bought pre seed but not cheap. Id suggest seeing if you get some next month and if not try pre seed. Also takng evening primrose oil from cd 1 - 14 is meant to help a lot. Google how many can take as the holland and barret are stronger than super market own brand. Iv got some from morrisons and im going to take 2 on day 1 of next cycle. Xx

@Bmeggar yes I know there is still I little hope but had zero symptoms aswell. I need to learn how to not let ttc take over my life coz it’s all I think about. How long have you been ttc?
Got a pulling feeling lower abdomen. It’s either AF on the way or I have held a wee in too long. Difficult to tell 😂😂😂 x

@Sohe I know what you mean. We've been trying since January which seems like a lifetime ago in these current circumstances! Can't believe we're about to be locked down again 😬 😢
Interestingly (or weirdly) I think having unprotected sex is what makes me feel terrible and have symptoms. I wonder if the semen causes hormone fluctuations 🤔 After a week of dtd I always feel dreadful, like I'm getting ill, and am covered in spots, feeling super bloated, a bit dizzy, tender boobs. And it often stays pretty much like this until I get AF. It's horrible! And what I did find when I got pregs in Aug, is that I didn't feel anywhere near as bad! No boob tenderness whatsoever. It was weird. And totally confusing. After SO many months of having symptoms I've stopped thinking symptoms are anything to do with pregnancy for me. My symptoms didn't really start until 5/6weeks so after AF due. It's all such a head f*ck!

Welcome @Fisheries345 ! I don't reliably have EWCM. And sorry for TMI but once we start dtd it all becomes so messy I don't know how you ladies are able to keep up with what's what! 🤣🤣🤣

@Bmeggar you just made me LOL with your messy comment. I am such a prude sometimes and don't like mess at all but mostly grossed out by bodily fluids. After DTD I must shower.....my husband says I have a problem hahaha

@SunnydazeQ hahaha I'm with you! It's grim. But I'm too desperate to keep it in to shower straight away 😂 Instead I tend to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening trying not to cough/sneeze/walk down stairs too heavy-footed....
Whoever designed the whole process needs a talking to in my mind..! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@gracie2307 happy you enjoyed the session :) This week, it was my head, forehead (between the eyebrows), arms and tummy but last week she added some to my feet. I think the pre / post ovulation makes the difference in where the needles go. Just read you got your Peak! Hope all goes well x

I am on CD24 and 7DPO - already planning on when to test! haha

@Bmeggar haha right! I try to stay in the bed for 10 to 20 mins with my legs in the air. I know there is no science behind it but I'm willing to give it a go. This month I even gave the pineapple core over 5 days from 1dpo a shot and been snacking lots on brazil nuts, walnuts and sesame seeds. I need to stop watching TWW Youtube videos LOL

@SunnydazeQ you've just reminded me that I DID eat pineapple after ovulation the month I got pregnant! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Probably missed the boat this month but if not pregs I'm def trying that again next month! 🍍🤪

@SunnydazeQ ahh interesting, do you feel any changes after your sessions? I have another appointment booked for Saturday but god knows now with lockdown whether it will still continue 🙈☹

Ah thank you 😃 This afternoon I have had really dull ovulation pain which has been driving me nuts 🤯. The irony that this time of the month is meant to make women feel more passionate and wear your best pants etc but all that romantic feeling seems to have bypassed me this month as all I wanna do is sit in sweatpants and watch Netflix. My husband is a lucky man! 🤣

Sorry @SunnydazeQ yes I am still reading my book! I am on a chapter on how to deal with SFG (smug fertility goddesses) aka the lucky ladies who can look at their DHs and bam, they're pregnant! It teaches good lessons about trying to balance being happy for pregnant friends (but knowing its also okay to feel sad some days when TTC is getting frustrating) and keeping up the positivity that it could hopefully happen for me one day. Xxx

@Bmeggar funny you say that about feeling off the week after fertile window, im exactly the same! Clusters of spots, dizziness, headaches, bloated, lethargic, you name it, I feel it 🤣

AF due Thursday for me too! 🙉 haven't tested yet but don't think this the month unfortunately 🙉

@gracie2307 SFG - it's so hard to be happy for people when you're trying. In the time we've been trying both my younger sister, and a close friend of DH have fallen pregnant and given birth. Wondering if there's a chair to need to find and sit on...

Had a lovely phone call with my doc today, booked in for blood tests next week on CD21 so see where we go from there. OPK today was negative so not quite there yet for this cycle...

I feel for you - its so hard when close family and friends get pregnant when TTC. I have tried to limit reading friends posts about pregnancies/babies usually around AF as it just becomes a bit too triggering. How's your journey been? Xx
