Shit @RBCoxie!
I'm gutted to hear that, is it particularly painfull?

Also I feel a collective "gestational diabetes, pre eclampsia, cysts, polyps, miscarriages, stress, lockdown, lifestyle changes"

FFS give us a break! 🤦‍♀️

Supermathsdoc · 26/02/2021 11:02

Morning everyone, hope you’re all well.

@RBCoxie I hope you’re doing ok with this cyst, is it something that goes away by itself?

@BellaBella1984 I hope you’re also well with work and the lozenges etc! I really like your outlook and approach to things, I find it very inspiring

@MummyToPrince how is everything with you? I hope things are under control with the pre eclampsia and you’re getting all the things you need..

I decided not to try this month, I’m still bleeding, albeit very lightly, from the procedure and my donors wife had her baby so I thought they might also appreciate not hearing from me for a month! I’ve ovulated today so my next try will be end of March hopefully. I plan to be full of vitamin D, folate, and 5kg lighter by then!

RBCoxie · 27/02/2021 09:18

@BellaBella1984 yeah very painful! Wish we could all catch a break this year! Who would have thought I'd be missing 2020?!??

@Supermathsdoc yeah they're hoping it will do with my cycle which is good - they need to scan me again after my next period so I'll find out then. Just disappointing to know I didn't ovulate this month. Glad to hear you're recovering well - I think taking a month off is sensible, it gives your body time to recover!

BellaBella1984 · 01/03/2021 07:56

This last part of the TWW is killing me this month! I'm really feeling the pressure of being on month 3 post miscarriage and the alledged increased fertility window closing. I'm puffy, bloated and cranky and should probably just go sleep in the spare room now and put us both out of our misery!

The bathroom is clean, the kitchen is clean, I've hoovered, the laundry is done (and put away!) and I've done most of the cooking for the week. The dining table of doom... is still the dining table of doom.

I've even been ironing! I know, apparently I own an iron?! Who knew?! 🤷

5 days to go.

BellaBella1984 · 03/03/2021 21:00

Ok gang! Wake up I need you! What are the stats on testing DPO11 and DPO12? Due to test on DPO13 when my period should be due.

I'm going mad! Like actually. Little hypo manic, too much energy, too little sleep, singing which I can still control. Work are putting me in the pre op cupboard for a couple of days. Sensible. They'll probaly put the coffee machine out of reach too 😩 Oh and there's the icky nausea all day and wierd taste in my mouth. I know it's just progesterone.

This all feels very familiar. I have no idea if I get a positive this month if that will ease my paranoid racing thoughts or kick start them into a whole new gear?!

@RBCoxie @Supermathsdoc @MummyToPrince @Imworthit I need you! 😬

BettyM90 · 03/03/2021 22:08

@BellaBella1984 I tested on 12 dpo and got a very faint positive! Have you got any tests in the house?! X

RBCoxie · 03/03/2021 22:12

@BellaBella1984 you know my thoughts on testing - I'm a testing maniac! 😂😂 nah in all seriousness, I got my BFP at 10DPO - was certainly not a squintier and was definitely there. I then got a BFP on a clear blue digital at 11DPO so definitely possible!

Not sure if this helps but on the countdown to pregnancy website it shows these stats for 11DPO & 12DPO.

How many DPO are you now? I have everything crossed for you!

BellaBella1984 · 04/03/2021 18:31

@RBCoxie and @BettyM90

I'm 11DPO today and I've got a couple of FRER in the drawer.

I might be able to put off testing until saturday 13DPO just out of sheer exhaustion! There's a strong chance I'll just roll out of bed and into work tomorrow now that my mood is stabilizing out again. 4 hrs sleep has to catch up on you at some point 🙄

RBCoxie · 04/03/2021 21:16

@BellaBella1984 I totally admire your willpower! There's no way I could hold off on testing if I had them in the house 😂 please let us know how you get on in a couple of says.

AF arrived for me today, relieved as I knew it was coming but can't help but feel disappointed at the same time. Ah well, onto March cycle. Let's hope this is a better month!

BellaBella1984 · 05/03/2021 06:58

@RBCoxie Looks like we're back in sync. Period started this morning. If I test or even think about testing it's a sure fire way of getting my period the next day. Ugh I am so sad, not devastated stay in bed crying but fuck this how much longer can we keep doing this sad.

RBCoxie · 05/03/2021 21:19

@BellaBella1984 I am so, so sorry to hear this - I completely know the feeling of sadness you mean. It's utter shit. It's really really shit. Be kind to yourself this weekend. Get that wine out! I'll be here for next cycle - we got this! 🤞🏼 x

RBCoxie · 09/03/2021 08:11

I really need your help and advice! And I’m sorry in advance, this is a long one!

As you know, I had the MC in January, then had a period (VERY heavy) then when that ended tracked again to TTC. As you also know, I ended up with an ovarian cyst in February. That cyst was a corpus luteum cyst (basically a cyst that is normal for ovulation but mine got bigger, hence the pain). I had to pay for a private scan (£425!!) because the waiting lists for NHS were too long and they said that the cyst was filled with blood and therefore unlikely that I ovulated. The Drs said to get in contact on the first day of my period so they can arrange a follow up scan on CD 5-8 to check that the cyst is going away naturally.

Since then, the pain has got much better - in fact I hadn’t noticed it for a few days but did a workout yesterday and noticed a twinge. I contacted the Dr on CD 1 and she called me back yesterday - ideally I would need another scan to confirm it’s either gone or shrinking, but I can’t afford another private one and the NHS waiting lists are 1 month (and I need it between CD5-8, day 8 being this Thursday!). She said to monitor it and contact her on CD 1 again if I still have any level of pain and she’ll refer me for an NHS scan.

I asked her if I can still TTC this month and she said ‘it’s a head vs. heart decision’ - head says don’t as it could cause complications but she recognises that it’s an emotional decision. In the moment I stupidly didn’t ask her what the complications could be.

So basically, I don’t know what to do. The pain is next to nothing so the cyst has to be smaller than before (if it’s still there!) so it feels like a waste of a month if we don’t try. Or am I jumping the gun and causing myself more issues?

Supermathsdoc · 09/03/2021 09:11

@RBCoxie I’m so sorry this is happening it sounds awful and also very confusing.

It sounds to me that there is no right answer and I can think of lots of good reasons to support either decision. That’s also probably why the Dr didn’t say either way.

I tend to be a more cautious person (which is why I waited after my procedure) but that doesn’t mean it’s ‘correct’ just that it sat better with me at the time.

I realise this is not hugely helpful to you but I didn’t want to leave you hanging....

RBCoxie · 15/03/2021 22:55

@Supermathsdoc thank you! I really appreciate it - it's always good to hear what other people would do. I haven't noticed the pain for a few days now so we've decided to go for it.

Interestingly, I have just started to noticed the beginnings of sore boobs which is what I had in the lead up to ovulation last year! So looks like my hormones are back to normal - never thought I'd be so thankful for sore boobs 😂

Supermathsdoc · 04/04/2021 18:02

Hi, how’s everyone doing??

I feel like it’s been ages since I posted so just wanted to check in with everyone.

I’ve tried this week but my donor is super busy and stressed this month as his wife’s had a baby. We just picked a day that worked for him and I have no idea when I even ovulated as I just got out of the routine of temping, POAS etc .... need to be more on it!

RBCoxie · 05/04/2021 09:36

@Supermathsdoc hey! So lovely to have a message on the group again! Is this your first try since your op? Keeping everything crossed that the timing happens to be right - sperm can live for a while too so it may be fine!

Bit of an update from me - I got a BFP yesterday! We actually stopped trying because I found a lump in my boob which I'm waiting for biopsy results for but it all happened halfway through the fertile window so we stopped DTD but one of those little guys kept going 😂 no idea when I ovulated but the line is very faint even if I am only 10-11DPO, which is possible but unlikely. I'm not holding out too much hope to be honest because the line is so faint, but we'll see! x

RBCoxie · 10/04/2021 16:06

Update: ended in a chemical - not surprised but still gutted. Hope everyone is okay x

Supermathsdoc · 11/04/2021 09:21

@RBCoxie I’m so sorry I only just got round to both your messages, I’m so sorry and hope you’re doing ok with it.... sending you good vibes x

Marri1995 · 25/07/2021 15:37

Hi, how is everyone getting on, any bfp’s out there

RBCoxie · 01/08/2021 07:19

@Marri1995 hey! I'm 10 weeks pregnant today 😊 I hope everyone else is doing okay! x

Marri1995 · 01/08/2021 15:48
