@RBCoxie Hiya lovely ... Of course you can :-) yes that's correct, I thought i peaked on 13th October because I had a semi high and forgot to do anymore opks that day also had ovulation pain and then they went low the following day so assumed i peaked over night, but then I peaked 18th October, I will attach a photo. In your pictures your peak is nearly the same as mine, mine wasn't high, it was infact less than yours at 86, I would continue to test and if it become high again DTD, personally I don't think you will but I'm only going off what mine was like before I got a bfp.
The GTT test was awful lmao haven't had the results yet but I see the midwife on Monday, so will see what she says :-)

@MummyToPrince 😂 the last two messages gave me a good giggle! This is so, so helpful! Thank you so much. I agree, I probably did peak when I thought I did as it's still quite high - maybe I just didn't pee at the right time to catch the true peak peak! I'm definitely going to still keep testing and DTD, just in case! It's weird I've got no got no other ovulation symptoms at all! I don't think this is going to be my month somehow - just got a feeling - I know I have no way of knowing but just a gut instinct. Ah I've heard the GTT test is horrible! Fingers crossed for you on Monday!

I heard from the hospital and they are going to do my scan as planned, I have it on Tuesday which is a huge relief! I think it’s quite painful but at this point I just want it done. Im expecting to ovulate next Sunday, this will be number 8 for me, lucky number 8??

@Supermathsdoc thank you!! I only doubted it because I expected the peak to be above 1 and my baseline is normally much lower than what it went down to, but it does seem to be going down still. Officially back in the TWW!

I'm so pleased the hospital is keeping your scan booked in! Tuesday isn't that long to wait either. I really hope it goes well. Sending you all the positive vibes for month 8! Are you still doing two donations per month? (Sorry if you said this on a previous message earlier!)

@RBCoxie 😂 bloody spelling haha! .. Dont knock it yet as if you remember when I thought I first peaked i had ovulation pain and EWCM however when I actually ovulated I didn't have any EWCM or ovulation pain .. I'm keeping everything crossed for you :-)

@MummyToPrince oh yeah I remember that now! I've carried on testing and they've still stayed low. I do think I've ovulated but I'm going to carry on doing them though because I know my hormones could be all over the place after my MC and I could ovulate at any time really!

@BellaBella36 ah has work been crazy?! Testing day is technically the 4th Feb as that's two weeks after I ovulated but I have absolutely no desire to test 😂 I'm finding that this TWW is flying by (weird right?!) and I'm also still using the OPKs because I know how weird this cycle could potentially be so maybe the OPKs are using up all my testing urges 😂

@BellaBella36 the hospital have said they’re are going to do a hycosy which is very similar to the super painful HSG they did last time, I know it’s going to hurt loads but I just want it done so I can have answers and move on. It’s booked for 1400....

@RBCoxie we’ve decided to do one early and then a second one if the timing for the first one ends up too early. But they have all been 1 day pre ovulation so I’ve been happy with that. This month he’s going to donate at the hospital for the IUI as well, then I can have that in 4 months, which will have been a year of trying so sounds right.

@Supermathsdoc Have you had anything to eat or drink since 10:00? If not you can ask for midazolam.

@Supermathsdoc Sent that message quickly without clarification. It's possible to ask for sedation, but it's completely dependent on getting hold of a sedation trained nurse/ ODP and having somewhere to recover your afterwards. If not they could ask you to rebook, which would totally not be worth it for a couple of mg of midaz. Other best bet is to whack in some Ibuprofen/paracetamol/codeine about 30 to 40 mins before your appointment. Combine however you can just don't go over 60mg of codeine. Good luck! ❤️

@BellaBella36 that’s so much for your message, I would love some midazolam but unfortunately they won’t give it as it’s just done in the outpatient setting. I’ve got some co-codamol which always makes me pretty drowsy so I’ll take that and just try to remember that its probably nothing compared to having a baby!!

@MummyToPrince sorry I missed your question, I think yes I’ll get the results today but I think it might take longer to know whether I need to have the polyp removed which is the bit I’m really scared of, having a bit of me removed without anaesthetic sounds very unpleasant!! But I’m trying to just take one step at a time and to remember that many women have done this x

All done! it was nowhere near as bad as the HSG in the end, but I was grateful for having taken pain relief.

The polyp is bigger than they thought and they said there’s no question it would be affecting fertility and I should have it removed ASAP. They said the WL is not long so that’s good at least.

Feeling scared but also hopeful x

@Supermathsdoc I'm so pleased to hear it went well for you and it sounds like you may have some answers which is great. Hopefully it won't be too long before you can get it removed - then you're one step closer!

I’ve decided to take a TTC break until I can have procedure. The consultant said the polyp could be associated with failure to implant and also later miscarriage so I thought it might be better to hold off for now.

Hopefully I will get a procedure date soon though. Good luck to everyone else, @RBCoxie when are you testing? How’s everyone else doing?

@BellaBella36 @Supermathsdoc I'm 8DPO today. AF is due on the 4th if I go off 2 weeks after ovulation but because I had the MC earlier this month too I actually have no idea when I should expect it to come! I'm not feeling hopefully at all - I've looked back on Oct when I got the BFP and my main 'symptoms' were nipple pain and AF cramps of which I have had neither this time. I've had lots of sharp pelvic pains this time instead. Still early I suppose but I don't think it will happen this time round.

@Supermathsdoc I think that's really sensible - at least now you know what is potentially causing the delay. I really hope you're not waiting too long!

@RBCoxie I think it’s always going to be tricky to work things out until your cycle settles back into a routine you can try to predict. Everything crossed for you!

I’ve just heard from the hospital and they have given me a date at the end of Feb. Very pleased with this as it potentially means only missing 2 cycles. Still very scared but I think my desire to get it over and done with outweighs that!

@Supermathsdoc completely agree - tbh I know we've rushed back into TTC so I wouldn't be surprised at all if it didn't work this time round. Maybe my body just isn't ready. That's such great news for you, especially that you won't be waiting long and it's great that they came back to you quite quickly! It's natural to feel nervous, but as you say getting it over sooner is much better!

Hi long time no speak. Had a bit of a wobble but I’m good now. Much more positive about the whole thing.

@Supermathsdoc great to hear your making progress. Sometimes knowing the issue is half the battle. I’m currently on health detox and planning to get checked out this month hopefully. Then at least if I’m problem free we can focus on my partners issue. Fertile week and my fiancé has managed to finish once! Lots of sex but no happy ending 😂 gonna try again this morning but not holding out much hope.

@RBCoxie you never know just be easy on yourself 💐

Lost 8lbs since the start of jan so it’s a good start in the right direction 😁
