@Mari1995 Hey, do you mean this Wednesday? When you will be 5dpo?

I'm doing okay, I'm 5dpo today and my blood test is on Thursday which will be 8dpo for me. I don't have a lot of hope for this cycle really as every month seems to be the same old thing now and I'm feeling really meh about the prospective of month 10. How long have you been trying, is it 12 months?

I’m doing well thanks, I’m 12DPO and plan to test tomorrow. I was initially hopeful because I had a pretty weird and strong pain on 5DPO which @MummyToPrince also had, and I havnt had before - since then it’s been exactly the same as all my other cycles with a temp drop (although still above the cover line) this morning.

But if I test tomorrow I think I can be pretty sure. I’ve started the process to have IUI (will take 4m before I can start) and I think I will also have to have this polyp removed beforehand so I think it’s looking like a long old journey still....

Anyone else testing soon?

Yes this Wednesday coming, which means I will be 5dpo.
Yeah it’s been a year for me, I don’t feel hopeful this month either as we haven’t dtd often. Only the day before and of ovulation.

Did the doctor suggest you to have iui or did you have to suggest it yourself?
Can’t wait for this blood test to be over with so I can move on to the next thing aswell @Supermathsdoc

@Marri1995 thanks so much! I think I’ve got a bit used to it now so I don’t get as excited or hopeful, more to protect myself I think...

Basically where I live, to qualify for IVF as a single/gay woman you have to have 3 rounds of self-funded IUI first. So I decided I would try at home insemination 9 times and then do 3 IUI so that when I qualified for IVF I would have been trying for a year.

I’ve done 6 at home so far, and 3 havnt been well timed. The doctor suggested removing the polyp to give the IUI the best chance...

I had a big temp drop this morning but tested anyway and of course it was a BFN. I feel glad that I had already got things underway with the the hospital. I feel really scared about having this procedure done but I think after 6 tries I need to start being realistic.

I hope everyone else is doing ok wherever they are in their journey and I hope in the end we will all be where we want to be x

I am currently 5 dpo, the days are going by so slowly, I had my blood test today I’ll get the results next week, such a frustrating and overwhelming journey ttc is😭😭
Really hope this is my month, even though I have no symptoms at all🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Marri1995 almost half way! Everything crossed for you.

I have an appointment on the 5th for another scan to confirm the presence of the polyp and then hopefully will be able to schedule a removal. I’m not sure what it will means for trying next month.... if I’ve already ovulated I won’t be able to get pregnant but if it’s before then we might be able to squeeze it in

Hey Everyone and Happy Christmas! 🥳

I know we're all not having the best of times but we'll get throught it. My husband sometimes reminds me that we already are a family, albeit a family of 2! But really, thank you for all your kind words over the last couple of weeks. Now the crazy pregnancy hormones are out my system I feel a lot more human again! So bloody glad to be back at work too, have really missed my nerds!

I went on a couple of online support groups to see if anyone had some good coping strategies for general pregnancy anxiety but also that specific panic that I think will come from being pregnant again after a miscarriage. They didn't. But I did learn that without judgement I personally don't have an "angel baby", and should the planets align again I won't be having a "sticky bean" or "rainbow baby".

I've got a little behind with the group so please do update me with where you're all with TWW and IUI. Huge Christmassy lockdown hugs to you all, this won't be forever, honest ❤️

@BellaBella36 it’s so good to hear from you and to hear you’ve managed to navigate your way through things.

My journey has become quite medicalised. I have an appointment for an SIS on the 5th so they can look at this polyp. After that they reckon they will remove it. Im really freaking out about having this done in the outpatients department. The HSG was the limit of what I could cope with without sedation, but I’m trying to take one step at a time.

The SIS is scheduled for 1 day before I ovulate, I will try but success seems very unlikely in jan.

Got a call from the doctor after my blood test To see if I ovulate asking me to come in on my next cycle at day 21 to test my iron🥴

@Marri1995 Iron test? Are you anaemic maybe?

My day 21 blood test on Xmas eve got cancelled, so annoying! I have my day 2-3 test on the 29th now. Will have to wait a while to rebook my day 21 test.
AF due on Monday 28th. I'm 10dpo today but already got a BFN today sadly

I don’t think I’m anaemic, but last year after my miscarriage they said my iron levels were at5, I didn’t manage to take the tablets they gave me.
After googling I read having low iron can be one of the reasons for not being able to conceive.
But day 21 next cycle will be after ovulation, should I start taking iron vitamins from now? Or wait @acaciabluebell

Another BFN today. It's 12dpo and my AF due date. My boobs have also stopped hurting so I'm pretty sure AF will be arriving very soon.

I’m going to test tonight, I’m not hopeful I know it’s going to be negative

@BellaBella36 happy Christmas :) I’m glad to hear that you are managing to reach out to other platforms to help you through and that being back at work is going great too :) always good to be surrounded by other people...2020 has been a very odd year! Everyone has their own coping strategies but like your husband said you have your family of 2 and that you can take great comfort that you have such a supportive partner. Wishing you all the love and happiness for the coming months xx

I am currently 9dpo and will be taking a test tomorrow morning at 10dpo to make sure I will be ok to drink to see the new year in tomorrow evening 🤣

I’m doing ok thanks, I’ve been mulling over the results of my tests and what 2021 is going to look like for me in light of that. Im predicted to ovulate around the 5th and they will start the process of removing the polyp from the end of jan... feeling a bit scared if I’m honest x

Thank you @BellaBella36 I want to get excited but the 2nd line doesn’t look that pink. I’ve got a couple of clear blue tests that I may take this afternoon and hold my wee in for a while 🙈 x
