@MummyToPrince @BellaBella84 BFN for me this morning.

Really disappointed as my temp was still high (which is why I tested) there’s a chance my Ovulation could be off by 1 day (making me 11DPO) but i the stark white background staring me in the face suggests this is not the month for me.

@Supermathsdoc be kind to yourself, your not out yet, you might have implanted later, isn't it a good thing that your temps are still high and not dipped?

@MummyToPrince there’s always a bit of hope I suppose until the period actual appears! But I think the chances are very low now.... I think if my temperature hasnt dropped by Tuesday I will test again (they are only cheap Onstep ones, but pretty sensitive at 10IU/mL) x

@Supermathsdoc didn't your temp drop before this point last month?.. I have everything crossed for you, the reviews are not that great on the one step ones so I'm praying that you have a dodgy batch and you get a BFP I have everything crossed for you

@Supermathsdoc I'm with @MummyToPrince When are you due on? Have you got time to go out and get an FRER? Remember I didn't get my BFP until the day after my period was due. Still holding out hope for you 🤞

@MummyToPrince yes it totally did! That’s what was giving me the hope, my temp at this point last month was hovering above the cover line.

I’ve attached a pic of last month and this month before that I was only temping to check the ovulation day so stopped afterwards.

I’ve done an override and changed the Ov day as I think it was wed (CD14) not Tues (CD13). I’m clutching at straws really but that would make me 11 DPO today so gives me a glimmer...

@BellaBella84 I do have a FRER in the cupboard but I want to wait another 2 days. I can’t really justify the money when in a few days I could just find out for free! I’ll also @ feel very silly if it’s another BFN... Did you test before as well or just once?

@Supermathsdoc I tested on day of period and day after. The day of my period was the one that was blank in the time frame but a squinter a few hours later. The day after was the one that have me a faint line in the time frame.

@Supermathsdoc sorry to hear that you had a negative on your tests :( although, from your charts it does look very promising 🤞🏻 When do you think you will test again? I was thinking of you this morning as I remembered you were going to test tomorrow! X

My eyes are starting to go fuzzy...I’ve convinced myself that this is positive? What do you all think? Xx

@BettyM90 thanks so much. I think I’ll keep temping and then test again if it stays high the day after my period is due (which having adjusted ov day will be Tuesday) as that timing worked for @BellaBella84

I think that LH stick looks positive but do you record the ones before it so you can see it getting darker and then identify the peak?

@BellaBella84 I so wish this was a HPT...unfortunately it’s just an OPK strip 😩

@Supermathsdoc thank you, it just looks so much darker than all the other ones. I’ve attached a screen shot of all my tests, which were taken at the time. I just don’t know if I’m driving myself mad and I’m just imagining it🤣
I’m literally keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you, and that your temp will stay up. I agree with Bella Bella though, with my son I didn’t get a positive test until after I’d actually missed my period x

@BettyM90 Bugger! I was always a smiley face girl, at 5.30am I couldn't be dealing with anything more complicated 🤦‍♀️

@BettyM90 10.49 on CD18 looks like a peak to me! Is that today? I would say, based on that, you’ll ovulate tomorrow (unless it’s even higher tomorrow) I’ve read that the most likely time for your peak is 1000-1500 so that fits.

I don’t think I’ve lost all hope, just a substantial chunk of it. I’ve had some cramping today which does feel like my normal pre-menstrual cramps so I wouldn’t be surprised if I have a temp drop tomorrow....at the same time I know it’s officially over until the period shows itself!

Pre-menstrual cramps are also a sign before a BFP too. But like you said, it’s not officially over until AF arrives xx

How is everyone? @BettyM90 I hope you managed to catch your peak yesterday!

My temp is up a touch more this morning, it could still drop like a stone tomorrow (but weird that it’s gone higher) if it stays high then I’ll test tomorrow. The apps are helpfully just moving my period due date along...

Symptoms wise, nothing to report - I feel pretty normal. Not even particularly pre-menstrual this morning. I think this is a lesson in patience!

@Supermathsdoc that’s great news :) has that ever happened in any previous cycles? It sounds promising that you haven’t got any pre-menstrual symptoms, especially if you normally do get some normally.
I think yesterday was my peak, although, my LH doesn’t seem that high in comparison to other days earlier in my cycle?! My temp also only increased by 0.09...but I missed a few days last week where I had to get out of bed to see to my son x

@BettyM90 I think looking at that you’ve timed things perfectly. I’m not an expert but I think that dip in temp you have near the peak is also an indicator that ovulation is near so it was either CD18 or 19 and either way you’re covered! Awesome!

I’ve only properly temped for this one and the one before so it’s hard to say what’s normal for me. All I know is my temp had already dropped at this time last month. But there’s lots of people saying they had high temps that suddenly dropped and Their period came.

I think all I can do is wait, I’ve had a few cramps now whatever that means.... Back at work today so luckily the time is flying by!

@Supermathsdoc glad to hear that today is going by quickly with work. Will you test in the morning do you think?
Thank you - I really hope we have timed things well this month 🤞🏻 My husband has already given me a pep talk about not getting my hopes up too much incase we aren’t lucky this month.

@BettyM90 everything crossed for you this month. I think either way it helps knowing you’ve given it a good shot, which is how I felt about this cycle.

I had a drop in temperature this morning and my classical period symptoms last night so I think I will come on today or tomorrow. I’ve decided not to test as it pretty sure I’m out, and if I’m not, I’ll still be pregnant in 3 days!

I’ve attached my chart, it hasn’t dropped all the way, but it’s a pretty big drop.

Off to buy another pregnancy test this morning. I'm really not feeling good about this. The only symptoms I had were sore boobs and peeing a lot, and they dissapeared around 6 weeks. The sinking feeling wont go away and I've still got 35 hours to get through until my scan. Rational head is so long gone I've forgotten what it sounded like.

@BellaBella84 oh no, I'm so sorry to hear your not feeling good about things. I can see how the absence of any real source of reassurance can lead to the sinking feeling you've mentioned. I hope the HPT brings you reassurance until you get to that scan when hopefully you can exhale again.
