Evening ladies, hope you are all well, how is everyone feeling?

my son had a brilliant day bless him and we had plenty of cake and snacks!

I have been extremely nauseous all day and genuinely felt like poop!

BellaBella84 · 16/11/2020 21:47

@BettyM90 I've never tried temping myself because of my erratic sleep patterns. It might have worked for me, I just never tried it. Up at 5.30 one morning and 9.30 the next. There's still part of me that thinks 4am might be bedtime though! 😉

@MummyToPrince The smell of a colleagues hand cream made me feel so nauseas earlier 🤢 I hope so much this is a good thing and not just wishfull thinking.

@Supermathsdoc We can totally get through this next 7-9 days Tomorrow I'm boxing things to go up in the loft. Cleaning them, organising them and labelling them. Will probably take a break for Domino's!

It feels like a while since I ordered a sneaky day off lunchtime pizza and then hid the box in my neigbour's bin 🙄

MummyToPrince · 17/11/2020 20:30

@BellaBella84 oooo I hope that is a good sign :-) I never had any of this with my son so it's all new to me... I'm here for you ladies

@Supermathsdoc How are feeling lovely?

OP posts:
BellaBella84 · 19/11/2020 12:17

@MummyToPrince Totally nervous and paranoid again. 7 weeks and still no real symptoms. My boobs were a bit uncomfortable last week and now they're not. 6 more neurotic days to go until early scan.

MummyToPrince · 19/11/2020 13:02

@BellaBella84 oh really, my boobs were really bad last week but they have calmed down, it's nausea that's kicking my butt at the minute, can barley eat and drink but I see the Midwife on Monday, when are you seeing your MW? Ooo how exciting!! I bet your counting down the hours and days aren't you? I'm having a private scan done on the 19th December (that's only if we don't get our 12 week scan before then) I'm 7 weeks tomorrow

@RBCoxie how are you getting on lovely

Supermathsdoc · 19/11/2020 18:06

Hi everyone,

Been totally run off my feet at work this week which is great in some ways - I have less time to obsess about symptoms. 9DPO today but feeling exactly as I always do, a few mild cramps only...

I think I will test on Sunday so I don’t have to go straight to work if it’s not the result I want.

Super exciting about everyone’s scans!

Is any one else testing soon or is it just me?

Marri1995 · 19/11/2020 18:47

According to my app I was meant to ovulate on the 14th but according to my test strips I ovulated yesterday, period is due on the 29th now I’m scared I don’t have enough time, my app is always correct I don’t know what happened this month

BellaBella84 · 19/11/2020 19:44

@MummyToPrince Telephone booking appointment for the week beggining the 23rd. Unfortunately our local team isn't able to give me an actual date or time, which is completely ridiculous but I managed to bite my tongue. Just. 🙄

MummyToPrince · 20/11/2020 07:07

@Supermathsdoc that's good that you've managed to be so busy during the tww :-) I have everything crossed for you lovely, I really hope this is your month

@Marri1995 be kind to yourself, I always thought my apps were right until I used opks and the opks worked for me

@BellBella84 how strange, mine is face to face for 1 hour on Monday. Yeah I can imagine it is hard to bite your tongue I think I would have gone off like wild fire 😂 hopefully your not waiting too long

OP posts:
BettyM90 · 20/11/2020 08:48

@BellaBella84 how exciting, not much longer to go :) hopefully it will help to put you at ease after the scan. How was your pizza the other day?!
@MummyToPrince glad your little boy had a lovely birthday :) bet he is getting excited for Christmas! Have you told him that he is going to be a big brother yet?
@Supermathsdoc do you feel much different this month? Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for your for Sunday
@Marri1995 what cycle day are you? My app has been saying I should have ovulated Wednesday...but as yet no positive OPK 😢 they keep going from high to low 🤦🏼‍♀️
I’m genuinely thinking that I don’t ovulate at all 😭 x

BettyM90 · 20/11/2020 08:58

Also...my apps are saying that my period is due 2nd December but even if I ovulate tomorrow then that will only be 10 days and not sure that would be long enough for a viable pregnancy?
Has anyone with a BFP experienced this? Xx

Supermathsdoc · 20/11/2020 10:05

@MummyToPrince thanks so much for being so kind, as always, I love that you’ve stayed in this group to cheer us along!

@BettyM90 I havnt felt anything at all really but I think I feel more when I have time to really pay attention. Last night I felt some cramps (9DPO) but I never know whether it’s my period, digestive issues (!?) or a good sign. My LP is 12 days so I’ll find out soon enough. I keep reminding myself that @MummyToPrince felt her normal symptoms!

I think the apps (and I have 3!!) can be very unreliable - this month they were all 4-5 days out on my ovulation day. OPKs are helpful if you find the ones that work for you (I use Onestep cheap ones and they seem to give me the info I need) but, if you can get the hang of it, temping gives you confirmation that you ovulated. I found this put my mind at ease...

Has anyone heard from @RBCoxie?

@BellaBella84 that does sound frustrating, hopefully the telephone one gets you in three system so you can get what you need quickly!

MummyToPrince · 20/11/2020 10:13

@BellaBella84 No I havent told noah because he's copying everything we say and I don't want him to ruin the surprise 😂🤦‍♀️

@Supermathsdoc I did say I'd stay and cheer you all on :-) I want to see everyone get a BFP :-) how are you feeling genuinely in yourself? No I haven't heard from @RBCoxie

@MummyToPrince @Supermathsdoc

Hi ladies, I’m so sorry for being off the radar - I haven’t had a good few of weeks. My anxiety went through the roof a couple of days after I found out I was pregnant. I was looking through different forums and saw loads of people talk about miscarriage and it just sent me into a tailspin. On top of that, I then went down with COVID and my anxiety got even worse and I’ve felt horrendous.

It’s been awful but when I saw your messages come through on my email it made me smile so thank you. I’m sorry for not letting anyone know I needed time out - I cannot begin to tell you how low I’ve been and overanalysing everything, I just couldn’t do it.

Sorry, this is all incredibly dramatic - I’m getting there and will be more okay I’m sure after my scan next week. I’ve been thinking of you all though and hope you’re all getting on okay?

Marri1995 · 20/11/2020 11:47

My app is saying cd 20, I usually have lots of unbearable pain on my right side during ovulation, but this week I’ve had it 4 days in a row at night, really don’t know what to think. I ovulated 4 days after my app said, just keep testing and dtd every second day that way you will have covered it @BettyM90

Supermathsdoc · 20/11/2020 12:22

@RBCoxie I'm so sorry to hear you've been unwell and having a difficult time. Forums can definitely provoke anxiety, its so hard to remember that the vast majority of people have positive experiences when you are faced with an overload of the opposite.

I hope you've found some balance and been able to rest and recover from the COVID. You must be exhausted! Sending you lots of good vibes and wishing you happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy. We are here if you need us and if it its helpful, but also there's definitely no pressure to post xx

Yes I'm a short luteal length girl too. I ovulate on day 17 or 18 of a 29 day cycle.
BellaBella84 · 20/11/2020 13:08

@RBCoxie I have been a neurotic mess. I've ground my teeth to powder, and I don't think my heart rate has been below 100 since I found out. I feel constantly sick with fear and I keeping waking up in the night doing that thing where you gasp for breath.

MummyToPrince · 20/11/2020 18:08

@RBCoxie I'm so sorry you have been feeling like this, I hope you feel better super soon!! Sending love and health your way lovely.. Don't be sorry!! Ever! You've been going through alot x

@RBCoxie
Sorry I typed that in a hurry, and looking back it reads really egocentrically. What I meant is you are absolutely not alone in this. And there is a big difference between pregnancy nerves and anxiety so don't allow anyone to minimize this. If you think you might need a peri natal mental health referral ask for one now. Even for pre existing MH diagnosis + pregnancy, resources are stretched and there'll be a wait. I have bipolar, and not having control over my thoughts scares that crap out of me, and reminds me of some pre medicated hell which I don't want to be reminded of. Basically, we've got you ❤️

Supermathsdoc · 21/11/2020 12:24

How is everyone doing today?

I almost tested this morning as my temp was the highest it’s been so far (11DPO) but realised I wasnt quite ready to let go of hope, so decided to wait.... eeek

I have no symptoms that can’t be explained by being pre-menstrual.... To answer @MummyToPrinces question about how genuinely feeling in myself, I really don’t know!

I’m so not one of those people who is tune with her body, last night I spent a good hour browsing baby names (!) convinced I was pregnant, then today I was afraid to test because I was convinced it would be negative.

Gonna go for a run to try and clear my head a bit. Hope everyone’s having a restful weekend x

RBCoxie · 21/11/2020 16:30

@Supermathsdoc @BellaBella84 @MummyToPrince your messages made me really teary, thank you so much. I also know how lucky I am to be in the position I am - I just haven't had an anxiety attack like this in a long time and that in itself is incredibly scary. Thank you for all your support and helping me to remember that I'm not alone in going through struggles, even though I'm in an incredibly fortune position. I've started to notice a bit of a different over the last couple of says, so with my scan next Wednesday hopefully that'll only get better. You ladies really are fab - id love to be able to keep in touch with you all throughout this x

Supermathsdoc - I am keeping absolutely everything crossed for you - you really do deserve your BFP and I really really hope this is your month! 💕

Supermathsdoc · 21/11/2020 17:15

@RBCoxie what a sweet message! Thanks so much. I can’t imagine how it has felt for you, and I really do hope your scan brings you an abundance of peace of mind and reassurance.

I would absolutely love to be a few steps behind you guys in this journey, but I’m also trying to keep myself grounded so that I’m not too disappointed if it’s not meant to be this time....x
