@Imworthit beautiful ring!! I really hope you get to celebrate finding your person in exactly the way you want even if it’s a bit later x

Marri1995 · 01/11/2020 12:03

Af arrived for me today, on to the next month 😬
Preseed didn’t work for me

Supermathsdoc · 01/11/2020 16:30

@Marri1995 I definitely know how you feel. I hope the next one is the one for you, do you know when you’re ovulating?

MummyToPrince · 01/11/2020 16:43

@Supermathsdoc hiya lovely, I'm good thank you, I'm glad af is on her way put :-) has your donor said anything about this month or will you miss it?

@Marri1995 I'm sorry af got you, be kind to yourself :-) I will be here for you on your next cycle :-)

That’s my ovulation date there, it’s usually accurate, but this month I’m going to try preseed again and dtd a few more days after ovulation and try drinking pomegranate juice for 2 weeks aswell I think it thickens the lining or something 🤷🏻‍♀️*@Supermathsdoc*

Marri1995 · 01/11/2020 17:04

When is your ovulation date @Supermathsdoc
Thank you so much, really appreciate it @MummyToPrince❤️❤️

Supermathsdoc · 01/11/2020 17:40

@MummyToPrince I don’t want to put any pressure on him, as he’s already doing a massively kind thing. We had talked about ‘what if’ before this lockdown was announced and said maybe that I just leave the door open for him and he can do his thing, but we don’t have any contact.

It’s more tricky now they’ve said you shouldn’t leave the house at all unless for specific things. So he would need to combine it with food shopping I guess!

@Marri1995 Friday 13th! If he does come round it will be Wednesday the 11th, I don’t want to leave it late again...

Marri1995 · 01/11/2020 18:14

Oh gosh such a tricky situation for you, ttc is stressful enough, I hope this is your month,
Praying for you more than myself ❤️
Are you trying anything different this month, I was thinking about taking vitamins but don’t know @Supermathsdoc

Supermathsdoc · 01/11/2020 21:45

@Marri1995 thanks so much that’s so kind of you! I take some preconception vitamins (folic acid, vit D and Iron) the main thing I’ll be doing differently is trying to go slightly earlier so that I don’t have that awful feeling of having missed ovulation that I had last month.

I’m aiming for 2 days before ovulation, hopefully so they are there ready and waiting!

MummyToPrince · 02/11/2020 08:02

@Supermathsdoc ah right I see, yeah I agree he is doing an amazing thing! I hope you are ok, whether it's this month or next I'll be cheering you on :-D

@Marri1995 are you using opks?

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 02/11/2020 08:25

Sorry I was quiet over the weekend ladies! It was a busy one and fell asleep at around 7pm both nights 😂

@Imworthit beautiful ring! Congratulations!

@BellaBella84 I'm over the moon for you! How're you feeling?

@Supermathsdoc so pleased to hear your AF is finishing! Hopefully the lockdown won't impact it for you - as you say, combining it with a food shop may help!

@Marri1995 sorry to hear that AF arrived - keeping everything crossed that November is your month. If it helps, I took folic acid and vitamin D - just the basic stuff as opposed to any fancy combined vits! Are you using OPKs this month? I found those really useful!

@MummyToPrince hey lovely! How're you feeling? Haven't heard from my midwife yet but booked a private scan for 25 November - so excited!

MummyToPrince · 02/11/2020 08:32

@RBCoxie hey :-) I'm good thank you my boobs are extremely sore!! But apart from that I'm good :-) how are you? Hopefully you will hear this week from the Midwife, I'm relaxing until I see my Midwife as I'm high risk so it will be consultant led care and it gets hectic 😂 21 days until I see her!.. Oooo how exciting :-) I'm booking my scan for 19th December, I will feel better once I see baby is ok

Hope everyone is doing well :) I am slowly driving myself slowly mad with my symptom spotting 🤣 I’m now 8/9dpo and have had cramps pretty much since my positive OPK along with spotting a couple of days after. My boobs have been really sore/sensitive the past week and now seems to just be my nipples and side and underneath of my boobs.
I also have a really weird sensation in what feels like my uterus...almost like it’s being inflated?! If that makes any sense!
@MummyToPrince exciting news about your midwife appointment and your scan @RBCoxie xx

BellaBella84 · 02/11/2020 12:26

Hi @RBCoxie good to hear from you! I'm doing a @MummyToPrince and being convinced that I'll see blood every time I wipe. I've gone into obsessive planning mode as if that will give me some kind of control 🤦‍♀️ My rational brain and my irrational brain are having a full on showdown at the moment 🥊

@Supermathsdoc @Marri1995 @Imworthit 🤞 this month works out for you. We've totally got your backs throughout this mental journey.

BellaBella84 · 02/11/2020 12:33

@BettyM90 A lot of these guys had cramps, I had nothing. Ditto boobs, even now mine just feel like normal PMT boobs. Much as you're driving yourself crazy with symptom spotting, try to hold off on the FRER for another few days to save yourself going crazy with negatives/ false negatives/ squinty lines/ disappearing lines ❤️

BettyM90 · 02/11/2020 12:49

Thank you @BellaBella84 and congratulations on your BFP!! You must be so excited :) wishing you all the best for the next 9 months. Will this be your first?
The cramps are so bizarre it feels like I’m really bloated where I imagine my uterus to be but then occasionally have a small wave of normal PMT cramps. All my apps are saying I’m due AF 6/7/8th November...seems like an age away 🤣 I may go to Asda and get an FRER to use in a few days time xx

robodo · 02/11/2020 14:44

Are all you positive girlie's on the July group they have a fb group going at the minute thats completely private but everyone's very supportive of each other and symptoms etc

Marri1995 · 02/11/2020 15:26

Yeah I’ve been using opks, I think I’m going to try this month then make an appointment with my doctor as I’ve been trying on and off for a year in January @MummyToPrince @RBCoxie
Previous 2 that ended in a miscarriage I got pregnant on the first try each time 😩

BellaBella84 · 02/11/2020 15:27

Hi @robodo how are you doing? I meant to ask before if you do permanent nights or on rotation? I've managed with just one cup of coffee a day so far but my real test will be when I'm back to work tomorrow. I've also cut my nicotine lozenges from 12 to 6 so that could also be interesting! 🤞

I popped my head into the July 2021 group but it was so busy. In real life I'm not great in crowds and I think maybe that translates to mumsnet too 🤣

Supermathsdoc · 02/11/2020 16:55

Hi everyone,

It’s so exciting the buzz of all these pregnancies! I’ve started running again since I got my period (I had stopped for this cycle on the advice of a friend who said it might be a hindrance) and feel so much happier. I won’t be trying that a second time!

@BellaBella84 good on you with the nicotine lozenges, very impressive

@Marri1995 sorry to hear of your miscarriages. From what I’ve read if you’ve been trying for a year (35) they will do some baseline tests.

I had them before I started TTC as I’ve had previous gynae issues. I found it reassuring to know at least that the hormones, general anatomy and tubes were all ok. My donor had an up to date SA as well. I think it takes some of the worry out.

@BettyM90 everything crossed for you, I love a good symptom spot and those sound promising...

Also Hi to anyone lurking, come and introduce yourselves!

robodo · 02/11/2020 17:30

@BellaBella84 I do mixture of days and nights usually both in the same week which is proving difficult as its super busy too. Although I've gone off tea now so that leave me coffee for the night shifts or when I start to get tired, I try and no touch caffeine on my days off as I dont drink fizzy drinks or anything anyway xx

MummyToPrince · 02/11/2020 18:23

@BettyM90 oooo how exciting, when are you testing? Thank you lovely :-)

@Marri1995 I'm sorry about your previous MC.. I hope this month is your month! You've been trying for ages bless you

@robodo I'm not no, I'm more invested in supporting the girls here getting their bfp, but I might look into it, thank you :-)

@Supermathsdoc you are so lovely you really are! I do feel bad writing stuff in here, I only run for the ice cream van 😂🤦‍♀️

BellaBella84 · 02/11/2020 18:51

Ugh @robodo that's brutal! I worked nights for 6 years but at least I stayed on one time zone. Mixing and matching though... I take it speaking to your boss would be completely useless?

@MummyToPrince Had a thought about the next thread continuation... "Eyes on the pies"! I'm now sitting here thinking of how far this can go 🧐

Supermathsdoc · 02/11/2020 20:05

@BellaBella84 @MummyToPrince love ‘eyes on the pies’ let’s make that happen

I’m not an elite athlete or anything lol but to be the ideal BMI for conception I need to lose 4kg and I have been dropping an extremely slow but steady 500g a month just by running for an extra 5 mins 3 times a week... I didn’t realise how good it was for relaxing me with the stress of TTC as well until I stopped

BettyM90 · 02/11/2020 21:04

@Supermathsdoc thank you, I really hope so! Hopefully not much longer to wait until I either do a test or AF shows. I just feel really different to how I normally do before i come on. It’s strange. How are you doing? Glad to hear that running is helping you to de-stress x
@MummyToPrince I’m too nervous to test 🤣 I need to try and get to Superdrug as there were no tests at Asda today 😩 what were your symptoms like before your positive? Did you get strong cramping? X
