@AKC88 hey! Glad to hear you are getting on OK. Sorry about the sore boobs. Mine are awful today. I don't think they've been this sore since I was about 11 or 12 and they started growing haha! Great you have your booking in tomorrow, mine is next Wednesday, when will be 7 weeks exactly (I'm 5+6 today).

EllyNC oh gosh poor you not being able to go in the kitchen with your 1st. I hope it doesn't get that bad! Did your sickness settle down after 12wks or so? Must be awful to have it all the way through.

@unCliche how are things going with the house? 🙂

Okay I’m officially confused! Just got a positive opk! But had the ewcm 3/4 days ago and it stopped yday? Ugh!
@AKC88 glad you’re feeling ok! 🤞🏻 For you you get that scan before Xmas as how lovely would that be!! My sickness settled about Week 10/11 with ds, thankfully!! Don’t know how people manage when it doesn’t ease off!!!

Good luck @EllyNC ! I am 1 day po and we dtd sat and sun as this is the first time I have seen LH surge since coming off pill. Obviously not expecting to conceive this time but the journey begins and my first 2WW x

Getting kinda caught up in the whole TTC thingy, and then just realised yesterday that Christmas is in like 5 weeks - holy mare! Have literally done nothing and the posties will be so busy with everyone shopping online. Are you all super organised and on it?

Can't believe you're almost 6 weeks already @GreenApplesYo. Seems like it was the other day you got your BFP but glad all is going well with you. Sore boobs are the worst! But at least you know it's for a good reason I'm 3 or 4 DPO but house related things are keeping me busy and I feel the day's are dragging less and less. We've had our mortgage agreed and valuators are booked in too so everything is moving pretty quickly @GreenApplesYo! Have you announced your good news to anyone yet?

@HerringGull IF I do do Xmas gifts, I just send money, otherwise my love is enough. So maybe just send money and blame it on COVID?

@HerringGull haha holy mare, I like that expression. Umm no, I'm not really on it at all 🙂I have my Mum and DP sorted. Haven't even thought what to buy anyone else yet! It always takes me ages, my family are all so hard to buy for! DP is easy however, he has loads of hobbies and always talks about things he wants, handy 🙂 Do you have lots of people to buy for?

Haha yep, fond of saying holy mare. Also holy cow, but why is there no holy pig?
Not too many people, I don't go crazy with it, but some of mine are really tricky people too. Quite often I make foody things for people (cos everyone has to eat no matter how much of a fussy pants they are), like jam or truffles etc, but I think I've exhausted my cooking options. Maybe I'll try unCliche's approach and send love :)

Alison, I've not used those. Last preg I used a CB digital once I was maybe 15 dpo. I think those ones are good a couple of days early but maybe not 6 days. Most people on here seem to rate FRERs for early testing. Have you got the CB tests already? I'm sure they'll work just fine!

I’ve not heard of Frers. I have strips that came with my LH strips that are pregnancy tests but they say once af is due. I already have a pack of the extra early from clear blue so will let you know if I use them/how they are. Is everyone here US or UK? Xx

Had some stitch like cramping low down on the left today so thinking the LH stock was right and that was ovulation! Anyone else get this and it feel like a stitch? Was for about 45-60mins now gone but does feel a tiny bit tender!

I used a couple of ovulation tests around the time my Flo app predicted I was ovulating and managed to get a high result on the 13th so here’s hoping! 🤞

@GreenApplesYo had my first appt today, best service I've had in all my pregnancies lol, 2 midwives came to my house, did my bloods, urine etc sorted out my notes, booked me in for a home birth, all in the comfort of my living room!! What a time to be alive haha! And they've booked me another appointment (telephone) on 28th to discuss my previous pregnancies and births!!

How are you @HerringGull? I was lucky with sickness with my other two so hoping it'll be the same. I am soo exhausted though and very bloated! Still having heartburn/indigestion after my evening meal-need to try and eat earlier! I support the 'holy pig' sentiment lol it's very charming! I've gone a bit Christmas mad this year, I have got my son's all sorted. Outside of that I just buy my immediate family and there's only 4 of us so that's not majorly taxing, oh and my hubby but our wedding anniversary is in Jan so we normally do one gift for both.

So, our car died this weekend so we had to buy a new one, was so strange shopping for a car to fit 3 car seats across the back when nobody even knows we are pregnant!

@AKC88 wow that's amazing! TWO midwives? Holy pig! Do they think they're less likely to catch covid if there's two of them? Good that you've no sickness, but I remember the total exhaustion in the first trimester (and I didn't have other DCs to run around after). Hope you manage to find a good pattern with the eating. Have you upgraded to some kind of monster range rover thingy then? I remember my folks putting us in the boot/footwells when there were too many of us (short trips only) but I guess those days are gone...

@AKC88 ah that's great! Glad it went well. I think I have to go to the hospital for mine next weds which seems weird in the middle of lockdown! Do you know when your first scan will be?

Just got myself some of those travel sickness wristbands, apparently they're good for morning sickness as well. I used to have them when I was a kid as I was always puking in cars haha. They seem to be helping.

@unCliche that's great about your mortgage. How exciting! Have you decided when you will test this cycle or are you waiting for AF? Haven't told anyone yet about pregnancy, I'll wait until after my scan. It's been easy not to say anything in lockdown and on furlough 🙂it'll be harder when I see people in person I think.

Would love to join, I’m currently TTC baby number 1, first cycle. I had a lovely peak OPK on Sunday so we managed to DTD on Saturday and Sunday (about 10 mins after the OPK) hopefully it has worked! So you usually count ovulation day as the day after your peak test? I also had EWCM on Saturday/Sunday but by Monday it had totally dried up and OPK back to low levels. The 2WW makes me so impatient!

Thanks @GreenApplesYo ! No, we’ve just been using Flo to determine when I would be most likely to get pregnant and avoiding dtd around that time. (And using the pull out method).

I’m hoping that isn’t a bad thing (that we haven’t fallen pregnant) and we’ve just been really good at our timings!

Lots of luck to you both!! aila I’m sure you’re just very good at timing, don’t worry about it ☺️ Emz 🤞🏻- I’ve only ever had one peak opk (I don’t think I did them enough!) and that was yesterday, so yep thinking I ovulated today (cd17). So now for the Tww!! 😩 do people carry on opk testing in case they get another peak? I’m a bit of a novice with them to be honest lol!!

Is it just temp that can peak again if ovulation didn’t actually happen first time? Or can LH peak again too?

@EllyNC I had what a I though my was a peak a couple of weeks back when the line looked darker than I had seen... then no period. This weekend the line was crazy dark compared to any other time And then it dropped the next day right down so I think that was a proper peak? X

@EllyNC291 I usually carry on for a couple of days just to make sure the LH stays down and doesn’t jump back up again, the OPK I did yesterday was pretty much zero and my temps have stayed high at around 37.1 this morning, just hoping they remain high during the TWW

@AlisonWhite that definitely sounds like the peak! How were your temps and mucus?

@EllyNC I haven’t been able to use my temp so far as it is very up and down but it was36.98 which is prob highest it has gone. It was back down the next day. I have up to 36.89 previously in the month though so not much different x
