Hi all!

Is anyone just starting their 2WW!? 💕 xxx

Hi ladies,

I've been doing my ovulation tests again since finishing my period Sunday...I am 9 days in, negative ovulation yesterday and peak ovulation (without a high) today - should I panic?!
We have DTD this morning but I'm in a flap because I'm usually like clockwork.
First month didn't have a peak but had high
Second month had high for 4 days and peak for 2 (day 14)
This month - day 9

I'm going out of my mind flapping that there's something wrong?!

Does these pics help or reassure you at all. I use glow app and upload my ovulation results per month. Mine vary, sometimes they go on for days sometimes a couple of days, straight from negative to peak then back to negative

Hey @Twinkle1989 like @Cc7750 there are lots of normal variations to peaks 🙂I freaked out because mine went low-peak-high-peak-low. 2 peaks in 2 days! I calmed down when I read there is more than 1 type of peak pattern. Are you temping too? x

So this morning you will see peak fertility - this evening low?!

What is going on with my body?!

Temp was 35.81 this morning and now 36.65 / 36.78

Has anybody had this before? Do I keep testing? CB will stay PEAK for 2 days so won't allow a retest but I can with my other ovulation strips xx

@Twinkle1989 aw try not to worry, I bet everything is fine.

Your temp is likely to be higher in the day time when you are moving around. Just asked about your temps as when you have ovulated your morning temps will go up and stay up 🙂so if your temp rises tomorrow am or on Friday it's likely that you did ovulate.

I would keep testing with the OPKs, keep having sex, and keep taking your temp. It'll be fine 🙂

Here's a graph that shows how LH peaks can vary. There are loads of different kinds! x

Also it's really normal to have a peak that comes and goes really quickly 🙂my peak was 167% at 6am and down to 25% at 6pm x

@GreenApplesYo you are keeping me sane (sort of!)
Did you conceive on that cycle? I'm so stressed about this all - my calendar does predict ovulation until next Tuesday?!

Haha I did conceive, despite having a weirdo LH peak and slow temp rise. I'm probably a 'G' on that chart I attached 🙂

Also @Twinkle1989 don't worry. I was really freaked out about what my body was doing 2 weeks ago as well haha!

Mine goes up and down every time I do one. But I did have one darker like you one afternoon so am hoping that was is. I have read a lot that the peak can only show up for a few hours and that the strength of your wee can really change the result. @Twinkle1989 update us x

Guys, have any of you used your discharge cycle at all to predict. I tried to add it to my calendar but it doesn’t match my strips at all although I am only in first month after ending pill. It says creamy mucus just before ovulation. I had that, then thought I had ovulated as had a dark line on LH strip a few days back but today my discharge is mega creamy again but it says no discharge between ov and ad. Sorry if that makes no sense. Xxx

@Twinkle1989 mine would always go straight from low to peak, didn't get a high in between, then straight back to low the next day. But like @GreenApplesYo said I've read/seen so many variations on here.

@AlisonWhite I tracked and always got EWCM for about 3 days before peak through until O.

I haven't tracked CM properly in fairness - I came off the pill about 4 years ago and noticed that I had egg white discharge at times during my cycle and it freaked me out - I googled it and it's totally normal and I thought egg white was a sign of ovulation?
It's odd because since I've been using OPK - I haven't noticed egg white CM at all 👀 apparently, or so I've read - OPK are more reliable that CM?
When it comes to ovulation time - I was testing twice daily last cycle once I had hit high fertility as I was worried about missing ovulation. - obviously this cycle I tested yesterday as a first day which was negative so didn't bother testing for a high on the evening and then today peak and then negative tonight!
I'm praying that if I have ovulated, it's happened today after we DTD so I'm in with a chance - we have missed the 5 days of high fertility to give us a proper chance so feeling quite flat now :-( xx

@AKC88 that's reassuring to hear! Did you conceive on cycles like this? How did you manage to supposed pre-ovulation fertile days?Were you ever peak at day 9/10? Xx

@Twinkle1989 I've been using OPKs for two cycles, both were like I described above and I've conceived 2nd cycle. I was using OPKs, CM and BBT

@AKC88 I'm doing OK thanks 🙂how about you? Not much to report really except for sore boobs. Are you planning to tell anyone about your BFP? I think I will wait for the 12wk scan. But it's weird having to keep quiet about it!

Morning girls! Sorry I disappeared for a bit. Been busy buying a house! Our offer was accepted so been trying to get things sorted for completion by February.

How are you all doing? Not much to report here from me. I'm on CD 7. OPKs are still negative and we haven't started DTD yet - we're both so tired, DH is struggling to sleep due to stress from work and I'm struggling to sleep due to excitement from buying a house!

I feel like this will be a good month (and not because it's my birthday month), anyone else feel quite optimistic that this might be their month?

Ooh hello @unCliche I was wondering how you're doing 🙂congrats on the house. How exciting! Cd7 as well... You could be in the 2ww again in a week or so. Feels like that went quickly. Sorry to hear you're both tired... Still plenty of time to start DTD though!

@GreenApplesYo same here really, not much to report, peeing a lot and asleep by 9pm but otherwise I'm relatively normal. I'm not planning to tell anyone until 12 weeks but it's going to be difficult at Xmas as it would definitely be strange me not drinking to family! Also my husband is the worst person I've ever seen at lying so it could come out by accident. I had a lurk on the July 2021 board but didn't dare join yet 🙈

@unCliche congratulations on the house that is big exciting news!! It could be a sign that everything is falling into place and this is your month 🤞🤞🤞

@AKC88 hehe it took me a couple of days to join... Then I decided to unfollow it for a while as it was making me nervous! Might start following again in a few weeks. Feels like this is a bit of an odd limbo time? It hasn't really sunk in properly. Think it'll take a few weeks to feel real... probably when I start puking!

Ah yeah I wonder if your family will guess at Christmas? My DP and I are having Christmas by ourselves this year... Will be on zoom with the family of course, but that makes not drinking easier to hide 🙂 haha bless your husband! I'm bad at lying as well, I know how he feels.

Thanks @AKC88! Sounds like things are really progressing well with you. You have all the typical symptoms, which can only be a good thing. By Xmas you'll probably be almost 12 weeks anyway so maybe you can start telling people if you do a 10 week scan or something.

@GreenApplesYo I don't think I'm looking forward to another 2WW. Can't be bothered with driving myself crazy with symptoms that don't mean anything. We'll definitely start DTD around CD 9 whether we like it or not how are things going with you? Are you feeling pregnant yet?

Yeah it is limbo, I mean my AF was actually only due today so it's ridiculously early!!

Well assuming we can actually see family by then, I'd quite welcome Xmas alone this year! My plan is to put some alcohol free wine in an actual wine bottle 🙊, although this is my 3rd and I get quite big bumps quite early on so it could be a tricky one. Have you booked with midwife yet? I'm afraid to for some reason lol.
