Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

Started bleeding lightly 😢😢 2 days early aswell.

Alicespring · 13/11/2020 15:31

@mumof23188

I am so sorry, it's so unfair 😔 look after yourself x

MissBPotter · 13/11/2020 16:08

@mumof23188 Sad maybe a nice glass of wine and some chocolate tonight? How annoying to have had those confusing faint lines as well.

Mrsi2020 · 13/11/2020 19:01

@mumof23188 I am so sorry :( please consider taking 75mg daily. My consultant is adamant that’s what has saved this preg after 4 losses this year. They also put me on vitamin d as soon as I got preg which I cud have been on before too. Worth a try. I’m so sorry hun, you’re getting it rough xxx

LarasMama · 13/11/2020 21:19

@mumof23188 Please don't lose hope yet! It's still early. When I look at my last pregnancy there were several drops by a few bpm. As long as it's over baseline and it's increasing over a period of time it may not mean anything.

LarasMama · 13/11/2020 21:25

@mumof23188 Oh, my phone messed up and I didn’t see the last message.

Are you spotting or bleeding? I had spotting throughout the first 3 weeks last time and was put on progesterone. Has your doctor checked your progesterone levels before? That could be it.

GlassLily · 13/11/2020 22:57

@LS2020 I had 5 cycles of no LP detected (but could have just been v short as I stopped with OPKs after day 21) and then one cycle with 10 day LP and one with 11 days. On day 21 bloods, progesterone was only 25 which is equivocal, so had been wondering about low progesterone. Anyone else had a similar experience?

LS2020 · 14/11/2020 08:21

@mumof23188 I’m so sorry lovely, hope you’re having a big glass of wine!

@GlassLily there’s someone on a different thread that I’m on had low progesterone and caused them to have very short LP (think was about 8 days) and the doctors put them on progesterone suppositories and after her second month on she had a BFP the other day ☺️ It extended her LP by a couple of days too last month

GlassLily · 14/11/2020 12:35

@LS2020 thanks for the tip!! I'll book a doctor's appointment 🙂

poptypingchef · 14/11/2020 17:06

Hi all

Congratulations @Moominmiss and @Alicespring - so good to hear from you, I remember you from the original thread.

I’m so sorry @mumof23188 I hope you are being looked after.

Hello all you lovely bunch.

Thank you for all your messages ❤️

I’m feeling pretty deflated and down but just wanted to say thanks! Hope everyone is well. Good luck to all who are awaiting the dreaded AF.

Going to take a couple of days off here

Chat soon 💕

MJM1608 · 14/11/2020 20:47

Hi ladies, just sharing my BFP RHR ☺️ It never really changes between 54bmp-56bmp but I got my BFP 5 days ago (at 13dpo) and it’s been rising slowly. It was at 54bmp at ovulation now 57bmp.

Hope this helps someone! I know my heart rate is below average but hoping it’s just because I’m fit😂 good luck to everyone & hope the BFPs come soon ❤️✨ xxxx

@mumof23188 I'm so sorry :( we're here for you when you're ready ❤️

@MJM1608 thank you for sharing! 54-57 sounds like such a small increase but the chart really tells a story doesn't it!

3dpo and rhr steadily climbing since AF.

@mumof23188 I’m so so sorry lovely, take all the time you need.

AF arrived for me yesterday eve too and we’d agreed to take a break until after Xmas to focus on some other life things so won’t be on as much but will pop in from time to time to check in with you all ☺️

restingwitchface86 · 15/11/2020 09:39

Hiya, can you let me know what 75mg daily you're referring to please? Interested in any supplements that might help!

LarasMama · 15/11/2020 19:09

@mumof23188 So sorry dear! ❤️

I’m CD2 today. RHR is at 60. But I also feel like taking a break for a bit.

Juno231 · 15/11/2020 19:54

@restingwitchface86 I'm sure it's aspirin - it's usually recommended for women with multiple miscarriages due to its blood thinking abilities (I think!)

Hi guys, not sure if this is right but ive had really light periods since trying to conceive, which has only been 2 months but im concerned it may affect the fertility. Has anyone else had this?

Moominmiss · 16/11/2020 10:54

I’m back 😔

Should have known not to let myself believe it could happen. I should have been 5 weeks today.

Heart rate dropped yesterday and today. Clear blue hadn’t moved on from 1-2 weeks by 17dpo (was going to test again later this week but won’t bother now).

I’m 18dpo today and my frer line is lighter today than it was at 16dpo.

Just waiting for bleeding to start.

Will probably (try) take a little break from posting for a bit, but will be back ttc as soon as I can be.

But just shows rhr can in my case anyway definitely predict a mc/chemical.

Xx

Juno231 · 16/11/2020 11:06

@Moominmiss I'm so so sorry :( Please take good care of yourself xx

@Kurben2010 light period since trying for the last 2 cycles - does that mean it wasn't light before then? or were you on hormonal contraceptives?

popcorndiva · 16/11/2020 13:42

Hi everyone. Got my BFP today at 12dpo. What made me test was my rhr was staying above 70 which seems to be my baseline and usually once under that AF starts. Attached is my rhr this month and test

@popcorndiva congratulations! What a lovely strong line 😍😍

MissBPotter · 16/11/2020 18:58

@Moominmiss so sorry to hear that Sad

@popcorndiva that is lovely news and congratulations.

6dpo here and feeling tired and so cold, weather is a few degrees colder but wearing two jumpers and under a blanket even with heating on!! Pretty sure it’s not a symptom though.

ambs1994 · 17/11/2020 07:26

Would being 8 days late last cycle make your current cycle longer? I'm cd19 and usually ovulate soon but no sign of ewcm and no rise in rhr. I've stayed at 61 pretty much all week.

The first big spiked at 69 was day 1 of period. The 2nd spike i was pretty stressed at work so that won't have been ov either.

Juno231 · 17/11/2020 09:13

@ambs1994 in theory no - but if there's some kind of funny business going on with your body atm then it makes sense that it could last longer than just one cycle.

@popcorndiva omg congratulations! Such a strong line for 12 DPO as well
