Ah no sorry @Lucille3 and don’t feel silly hope is a good thing! We have to keep the faith it will happen when the time is right 🤗

Loladoodle · 24/11/2020 19:40

Tired, grumpy and crampy here- ovulation symptoms! And always the time you feel least like dtd..: but needs must 😑

whatever1980 · 24/11/2020 19:55

@MgW1 ha ha their sacrifices aren't anything compared to ours! I was looking at medicheck but on my Instagram let's get checked came up and said they had a Black Friday discount not sure if applies to fertility tests but may have a look.

I've the clearblue fertility monitor which I've had for about 8 years. The sticks are expensive but results are pretty clear. I'm
Using opks too and clearblue digital sticks - I think I'm too old however. I'm 40 next month so will be leaving this board soon!

Kitekat81 · 24/11/2020 20:31

@MgW1 @whatever1980 @sleeeeeepy @Loladoodle @CC81 @Lucille3 thanks for all your replies re giving up stuff. I'm relieved to hear that I'm doing pretty much the same as everyone else, being a bit more thoughtful about what I'm eating and drinking and not overdoing it, but at the same time not making my life miserable by denying myself some of life's small pleasures!

Kitekat81 · 24/11/2020 20:36

@MgW1 have you tried temping to see if you are ovulating?x

MgW1 · 24/11/2020 20:42

@Kitekat81
I think the thermometer i have is rubbish , yes I have tried , il get a jew thermometer and try properly next month. What is your pre ovulation temp roughly? X

Kitekat81 · 24/11/2020 20:58

@MgW1 my pre-ov temps range between 36.0 and 36.4 C, and post-ov between 36.5 and 36.8 C. I don't take mine at the same time every night, I always wake up at some point in the night needing a wee and regardless of what time that is whether it's 2am or 5am, I take my temp before getting out of bed. I know that's not how you are supposed to do it but it gives me a clear chart! I've had a few cycles where I haven't ovulated so I find it really reassuring when I see my temperature rise and know that I've ovulated that cycle x

whatever1980 · 24/11/2020 21:01

I bought an ava bracelet from eBay which takes your skin temperature as due to toddler getting up in night I couldn't take my temp at same time every morning. It's pretty much bang on in telling me when AF due and is about a day out in OV compared to clearblue digital abs monitor but it was secondhand so not full price

MgW1 · 24/11/2020 21:15

@Kitekat81
@whatever1980
Mine this am was 35.2! Yesterday it was 35.5. I wondered what was wrong with me!!!!! Its been about 36 ish prior this this x

whatever1980 · 24/11/2020 22:01

Mine pre ov is 35.78but this skin temp as this is what Ava measures. Went up to 36.08 at ovulation

whatever1980 · 24/11/2020 22:11

This is my "conception box" I keep all the supplements in one place up high so kids don't get to them. It looks ridiculous the amount of stuff I have

Kitekat81 · 24/11/2020 22:21

@MgW1 I wouldn't worry too much about the actual numbers as everyone's body is a bit different, the main thing you are looking for is the temp difference between the first half and second half of your cycle. Have you got one which measures to two decimal places? If you think something looks strange with your readings and there is no other explanation it might be worth trying with a new thermometer, they aren't too expensive x

Kitekat81 · 24/11/2020 22:28

@whatever1980 that looks familiar! When I started on this TTC journey I never dreamed that I would end up taking so many tablets, or that I would have Amazon knocking on my door on quite such a regular basis 🤦‍♀️😂

Overlyanxious · 24/11/2020 23:10

Hi I just wanted to say hi, I’ve just been reading through this thread. Congrats for all the bios. I’ve been ttc since June and had a miscarriage in August. I’m currently taking all sorts of vitamins in the hope they help. I find I get stressed very easily so I’m currently trying to find ways to keep calm

MgW1 · 24/11/2020 23:12

@Overlyanxious
Hi there
You were on another thread i posted on. Think we are similar in we both had mc in Aug. How are you doing?

Overlyanxious · 24/11/2020 23:18

Hi @MgW1 I lose track of all the threads. I’m doing ok at the moment. Really trying to focus on being chilled. I also have an ultrasound next week to check if I have any issues - so just want that to happen now. How are you?

Joanna1009 · 25/11/2020 08:36

@whatever1980 I keep my easy at home OPK and HCG box, and the seven seas TTC tablets hidden together behind my microwave haha!

Joanna1009 · 25/11/2020 08:40

@Kitekat81 I'm the same. I have a toddler that's up in the night. I take my BBT before I get out of bed in the morning so anywhere between 5:45-7:30, but I would have usually had about 3 hours unbroken sleep before I take it. My chart shows a little variation in temp but overall I can still see where my roses are 🤷🏼‍♀️

Joanna1009 · 25/11/2020 08:41

Rises not roses 🤦🏼‍♀️

whatever1980 · 25/11/2020 10:52

Glad it's jot just be @Joanna1009 and @Kitekat81!

I'm taking 400mg of ubiquinol a day and the tablets at £22 a pop don't last long! It feels like Amazon is at my door everyday!

Joanna1009 · 25/11/2020 12:16

Ladies does this look like an evap or a real but very faint positive?

TTC 35+ Thread 5 Cougar and Silver Fox Club
whatever1980 · 25/11/2020 13:15

I can see a faint line! How many days DPO are you?

Loladoodle · 25/11/2020 13:28

@Joanna1009 it looks a bit grey but might not be showing up in pic. How long did the line take to show? Is there pink to it? What dpo are you? I’d take a frer if in doubt

Loladoodle · 25/11/2020 18:05

@Lucille3 how are you? Doing ok?

Joanna1009 · 25/11/2020 19:01

@Loladoodle thank you. I had a chemical a couple of cycles ago which I wouldn't have known if I didn't test too early...which is exactly what I've done here 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm just going to leave it a few more days then test again and try and be sensible
