Have my call with a gp a week today for our referral. She said I'm best off talking to her again so it's a week wait for me before we even get referred! Everything's so long isn't it. 😒

@notyetamumbuttrying it may be a bit of a wait I remember you saying you're SE London and I am too, I got referred in June and had to wait for January 2021! Hoping it's not the same for you but just be ready 😬 but I think you said you're going private right? X

Omg girls I'm so sorry that it completely slipped my mind to link this thread in the old one before it closed!

Had a really shitty day though yesterday. My carpal tunnel is hurting like a bitch (managed to get physio booked for Thursday), our boiler failed the service and we got quoted £4.4k to change it at first so spent most of yday running around like headless chicken trying to sort out something else. So now I don't have hot water until Friday... Oh and all these flat/house distractions means I'm super behind at work so had a little stressful very about that last night 😅

@missgoldilocks I'm so sorry for the BFN, what dpo are you now? I've got a Jan deadline as well after which we want to explore IUIs/IVFs, so I completely get where you're coming from ❤️

Thanks ladies, I'm working from home today which has both been a blessing an a curse as it means I keep going back to check the lines still there 😂 If I have a nice strong line over the next few days I'll feel a lot better, if its still there in 2 weeks time I'll finally let myself believe its a sticky bean. Until then its the headfuck game of alternating between 'this is finally it' and 'not again, another CP'

@notyetamumbuttrying I hope the time flies in for you too, waiting is torture everything feels like it takes forever in this ttc game.

@Juno231 ouch on the boiler front, thats one of the parts of being a grown up I hate, all the unexpected things you need to shell out for. Enjoy a nice long hot bath once it gets fixed.

I think sometimes when I see announcements on social media I just assume that it's been plain sailing for them and they've not struggled at all which shouldn't make me bitter but 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 x

@Missgoldilocks jeez Louise that's long! Yeah we'll go private if the referrals not in by January. I'm 35 next year so not waiting around any longer! I only agreed to wait this long as we had the wedding first, if only I'd known about the sperm issue then, I'd have come off the pill a lot lot sooner! I've decided I'm not waiting a week just to get referred so I'm calling up docs tomorrow for a same day call. Any doc can put it through can't they, so sod that receptionist lol!
